I can’t keep up with the constant changes in temperature… how am I supposed to choose what to wear in the morning?! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Raiden: MGS2 Ver.!

RAAIIIDEN!!!

Following on from the previously released Nendoroid Solid Snake  comes yet another character from the Metal Gear Solid series – the silent soldier with a rather impressive body, Raiden is joining the Nendoroids!

His confident eyes have been faithfully Nendorofied down to the eyebrows!

It’s not just his face that has been beautifully sculpted though! His impressive body is also definitely worth the look! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Even over his suit you can see just how impressive that six pack is!

I also adore the shape of his left hand here!

The hand looks like it fits into the gloves perfectly, but at the same time they are so cute and puffy looking! By the way, even though this product does not have ‘Edition’ in its name… it’s actually fully articulated! Much more mobile than most Nendoroids!! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The chest area features special articulation that allows you to take various action poses, or just pose him with his chest out to match his confident gaze! The connections for the arms are also ball joints allowing them to be placed at any angle to match your pose… or even pose him holding the included assault rifle like so! ♪

His elbows, knees and even hips can be moved around allowing for all the fun and inventive poses that we saw with Nendoroid Solid Snake!

Plus! This time around a very special expression part is being included!!

Illustrated by the game’s art director, Yoji Shinkawa himself!

Oooooooooohhh!! (´□｀｡)

Those eyes!! They’re too amazing!!

The figure’s planner, Enon-shi went to Shinkawa-san and asked if he would be willing to draw an expression… or even just eyes for the Nendoroid!

This is what came back in response…!

A big thank you to Shinkawa-san!! 

But that’s not all… he also comes with a sword for some close combat as well!

The sword is also designed to slip inside the scabbard on his back, allowing you to pose him like this instead! (●´ω｀●)

By the way, the scabbard parts attach to Raiden’s back where the stand normally connects, then the stand connects into the scabbard parts! Smart!

This keeps the scabbard firmly in place to make sure it doesn’t get in the way of any of your poses! φ(．． )

Anyway, this means that three weapons are included! ☆ 

Simply pick the weapon that you think suits him best! ♪

However we’re still not done! There is still one other part I have to introduce!

Here we go!!

A Naked Body!!

Special parts that allow you to recreate the scene where he was captured as a prisoner in the game! (/ω＼)

This way you can enjoy his amazing body even closer than before!!

Even as a chibi Nendoroid body all the muscles on his body have been carefully sculpted!

You can even try this expression together with the body…

He- He’s so… manly!!

Also note that the dog tag around his neck has been faithfully included!

I do apologise… but note that his hands are not movable! ^^;

Definitely a part that will surely be of all sorts of fun for Nendoroid collectors… I’m sure it would be very fun to try out on some other characters too! (*´Д｀)=з

Just like Snake he also comes with a Nendoroid size cardboard box! ♥︎

When I was in middle school my uniform was a blazer, so I’ve always been rather envious of cute sailor-type uniforms!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Mako Mankanshoku:
Fight Club-Spec Two-Star Goku Uniform Ver.

Hyahoo!! Mako-chan!! (´□｀｡)

She is back again in Nendoroid size with all new expressions, optional parts and of course the amazing Fight Club-Spec Two-Star Goku Uniform! ♥︎

Her shining gold knuckle dusters engraved with ‘MAKO’, the dangerous looking spiked bat, school hat with a rebellious tear in the peak, black gakuran-jacket,  geta shoes and leaf in her mouth!! Everything about her is so perfect!

This Mako-chan from the amazing episode seven in the series, also seen in the final episode is the definite ‘combat’ version of Mako-chan! The very first sample arrived today at the offices, so I decided to do a review as soon as possible! (σ・∀・)σ

Starting with the box design!

The famous red text in the window has been included! ♪

The whole box also has a matte finish but their are certain lines all over the design that have a glossy look to recreate that KILL la KILL atmosphere even from the box!

This is how the blister pack looks! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

The waterfall parts at the bottom right definitely draw attention!

We’ll get back to those later… let’s start with a look at the main figure! ♪

The complete pose even with the peace signs held up high can be recreated in Nendoroid size! Special left and right hand parts are included for this! (´∀｀)

This is how she looks from the back!

The jacket has a kind of pointy feeling that looks rather cute from the back!  The shoulder area and bottom area of the jacket also features articulation allowing you to add various different nuances to your poses! ♪

Some of you might also remember that there were various weapons on the inside of the jacket…

They are faithfully included!! ε=(｡・д・｡)

They all have been separately sculpted and all look rather imposing… although the Nendoroid size also gives them a slightly cute feel!

Let’s recreate the scene where Mako first appears in this uniform! Her opponent was none other than…

Ryuko-chan!! ( ；∀；)

I never expected that episode!!

I love series that have such unexpected turns! I’m a huge fan of Mako-chan and this episode really made her shine… those who haven’t seen the series yet really should!!!

Another very memorable scene from this episode… 

Mako-chaaaaan!! °・(ノД｀)・°・

The famous crying expression has somehow been transformed into Nendoroid form!! They are attached by slipping them through the joint of the head part!

I feel like going to rewatch the series right now!!

Anyway, let’s get back to the waterfall parts that were in the blister pack!

Looking at them alone is a little strange, but…

These are special effect parts to recreate ANOTHER famous crying scene from Mako!! This one from the final episode!! The episode seemed rather serious most of the way and then suddenly Mako goes and cries like this… I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry!! I wish I had a Gamagoori to pose together with her!!

These effect parts are designed to simply place against the eyes, so you can transform any Nendoroid into a waterfall crying character with ease! ( ・ㅂ・)و ̑̑

By the way, the crying expression without any tear effect parts attached also has a very unique look to it! Look how cute her puffed up cheeks look! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

I’m sure you could find various other uses for this expression beyond just a crying expression. It could be upset, or just show her overcome with emotion!! More than anything though it just shows how very adorable she is!! Not to mention how well her design works as a Nendoroid! φ(．． )

Ryuko-chan also decided to try on the uniform!

The hat doesn’t quite fit… but the outfit seems to work really well with Ryuko-chan’s embarrassed expression!!

Be sure to swap parts around with other Nendoroids too!! ♪

Definitely one of those Nendoroids that is filled with fun! ♡

My favorite fillings for rice balls are currently salmon and cod roe… but kelp and bonito flakes are also hard to resist! Who am I kidding… I can’t resist any riceballs, no matter the filling! (/ω＼)

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Shiren:
Super Movable Edition!

Oooooooohhh!! (´□｀｡)

From the famous RPG that you can play 1000 of times, ‘Shiren the Wanderer’ comes a Nendoroid of Shiren from the latest game! His confident expression, crossed card on his face and sword and shield to get him through the dungeon are all faithfully included! ★

Even in Nendoroid size Shiren’s outfit has been carefully detailed! Note how many different sections all with different colors are needed!

Even the texture of the fabric on certain areas has been faithfully included!

His traditional hat and striped cape which are mementos of a friend are also looking lovely! (。・ω・)ノ゛

Note how each of the thatching lines on the traditional hat are carefully added to the sculpt!

Looking from the top… 

The top features an outward gradient, gradually becoming lighter! Both the sculpt and paintwork come together so well to make the hat look so perfect! ☆

By the way, as you may have noticed from the product name, this Nendoroid is a fully articulated Nendoroid!! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ 

Even the shoulders are fitted with joints, allowing for many more fighting poses with his sword and shield equipped! Not only that, but his knees are also bendable which makes the action poses look more dynamic and believable! 

There are much more awesome action poses taken for the official photos which will be up on the GSC website, so be sure to take a look at them tomorrow! (･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ

Plus as I’m sure you’ve noticed by now…

Koppa is also included with the Nendoroid! 

This little weasel is also articulated in all sorts of places for different poses! This includes his neck, lower body and tail! (σ・∀・)σ

You can even use his posability to let him stand all on his own like above!★ 

Or in a completely different pose like below! (・∀・)

Hmm… what is Koppa looking at?

It seems the Nendoroid also comes with the all important riceball item from the game! Heal up!! (●´ω｀●)

His smiling expression can also be used as an eating expression!!

The smiling expression gives off a rather different feel to  his standard expression! You really get to various sides of Shiren’s personality!  But he still comes with more optional parts! More items to help him get through the dungeons!

Such as a scroll…

and a stave! (｡・д・｡)

Enjoy recreating all sorts of poses from the game!!

By the way, I said he was fully articulated, but let me also note that his cape comes as three separated parts and connected with a ball joint, allowing for all sorts of different nuances when posing!

The flow of the cape has also been very carefully thought out! Make sure to take a nice close look once he joins your collection!

I must admit I have no useful survival skills. I need to learn something in case something happens one day! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Kazuki Kazami!

Kazukiiiiiiii!! (´□｀｡)

The elder sister of the main character from ‘The Fruit of Grisaia’, who is also a close friend of the main heroine,  Amane Suou! Kazuki Kazami is joining the Nendoroids! Her long, soft looking hair and red eyes as well as the Takizono Private Academy uniform have all been faithfully included on the Nendoroid!♥︎

I never expected this story to go the way it did!! Make sure you try it!!

Let’s take a look at how she looks from the back!

Her lovely silver hair with the single strand sticking out on the side has been faithfully shrunk into Nendoroid size! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The hair parts are separated at the back to allow the stand to be connected easily into her back without ruining the hair with a hole!

Plus, she also comes with a right arm and left hand part that allow you to take this classic pose! (σ・∀・)σ

Moving onto her optional parts, her second expression is…

An embarrassed expression! 

Oooooooooooohhh!! (/ω＼)

Made in the image of the line,

“Because, Kazuki… I love you the most.”

The slightly bewildered look on her face makes for a slightly different embarrassed expression to most! The fact that she’s normally such a down-to-earth girl makes it all the more enjoyable!!  Delicious!! 

However… as I’m sure some fans would have noticed! Something rather important is in fact missing from this scene! Her hand should in fact be in a sling!!

The sling is in fact included, but I was saving it for this expression!! 

The Deer Soup Scene!!

As the scene was so popular we had to include parts that allowed you to recreate it as a Nendoroid! Amane’s soup is included along with this sharp, glaring expression!

Even the inside of the soup bowl has been detailed…!

You can clearly see the different ingredients in the soup! From some leafy greens to some meaty-colored bits! (°Д°；≡°Д°；)

There are still more poses I want to combine with the sling though!

A kitchen knife is included!

Yet another really memorable item from the series! The sharp expression here makes her look ready for a fight, and confident she won’t lose to anyone!!

The contrast between her metallic arm and soft skin… more importantly, her hand has been completely replaced with a robot arm?! <○><○>

The weather keeps jumping from hot to cold and back to hot again… so many people are getting sick! Everyone be sure to take care of your heath when the weather is like this!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Mio Honda!

Chanmio!! (´□｀｡)

The naturally cheerful and energetic idol who sets the mood for the New Generations girls! Mio Honda is joining the Nendoroids!! ☆

She is wearing her lovely pink hoodie over her standard school uniform making for a rather different outfit to the other two New Generations Nendoroids! The smile on her face, short spiky hair and friendly eyes all look lovely minimized into Nendoroid size! Her personality is preserved so nicely!  (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Let’s take a look from the back…

…! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ!

Ooh! While Shiburin and Shimamuu came with their school bags, Chanmio uses a backpack for school so that was included! The backpack connects into where the stand would normally connect, and then the stand can be connected into the backpack! Obviously this means that it can also easily be removed!

All three of the New Generations girls have joined the Nendoroids!

I’m sure they can be combined with other arm parts for a number of different posing options as well! ☆

Just look at those pearly white teeth! This is what you call a huge smile!! Just looking at her makes me feel all happy inside as well! There is definitely no better expression for Chanmio than a huge smile! It just suits her too well! ☆
