I can already feel my hay-fever starting to act up… perhaps because this Winter has been rather warm? Or maybe it’s just a cold…?
Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
| The 2015 design of Racing Miku, the official character of the Hatsune Miku GT Project, is being made into a 1/8th scale figure!
The figure’s design is based on Taiki’s illustration of Racing Miku as a ‘Princess Knight’, and has faithfully preserved all the details of the original illustration. The intricate outfit and dynamic pose all come together to create a cheerful Racing Miku that is sure to add new charm to any fan’s collection! |
The songstress of the racing circuit!♡
The scale figure of last year’s Racing Miku which went up for preorder just at the end of last month! Her adorable smile captures such a lovely moment! The fluttering of the flag and her twin-tails also add a nice dynamic effect to the figure, and the cute outfit has also been sculpted in lovely detail!! ♪
I managed to grab the painted prototype for a quick review!
This is how she looks from the back!
Take a look at the translucent appearance of her twintails!
They are beautifully painted to give a nice gradient that slowly becomes more translucent toward to bottom! They also have a nice volume to them that, together with the flag, give the figure a rather impressive size!!
She is posed standing with one foot up in the air for a rather simple pose, but the dynamic elements of the figure make it all the more eye-catching! ♪
The stand features a stylish design based on Miku’s hair color and standard hair accessories!
The pink is also used in some other areas! 〜(*´Д｀)=з
Take a close look at her lovely thighs!
I’m sure you can see the pink area!
The curves from her bottom down along the thighs is such a treat for the eyes!
By the way… Miku-san is wearing a tutu with a leopard, so you’re not seeing panties!! These photos are not showing too much!! Really!! (*ﾟｰﾟ*)
△ You get a really nice feel for the fluttering of the flag from this angle!
Anyway, the 2015 Racing Miku’s design was based on a ‘Princess Knight’! You can see the ‘Princess’ part in her expression, the frills on her outfit and of course the tiara…
If you’re looking for the ‘Knight’ part…
The gauntlets and various other parts of her outfit are modelled off knightly armor! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ
The golden lining also gives a very noble aspect to the design which fits both the princess and knight sides of the design! The little neck-tie accessory is included on the design as a little homage to the original Miku design!
