Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at Max Factory’s latest release…

Hatsune Miku: Orange Blossom Ver.!

From SEGA’s rhythm game ‘Hatsune Miku -Project Diva- F 2nd’ comes a 1/7th scale of Hatsune Miku dressed in the Orange Blossom module! The unique look of the bright orange and blue outfit has been completely recreated with the use of pearl paints.

The figure is sculpted by Grizzry Panda known for sculptwork with a keen edge, which suits the futuristic design of the Orange Blossom outfit perfectly. Add the unique Miku to your collection and enjoy every detail of the work of art whenever you please!

Hatsune Miku in her futuristic Orange Blossom outfit!

The Orange Blossom outfit, or ‘module’ as it is known in the Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- F 2nd game has been transformed into a lovely 1/7th scale figure! The contrast between Miku’s soft looking skin and the semi-futuristic kind of mecha appearance of her outfit contrast so nicely and have all been sculpted beautifully! Not to mention the pearl paintwork on the outfit which makes it look just like it did in the game!! ♪

The posing is also so very cute and matches the outfit nicely, creating a figure filled with Miku charm for fans to add to their collections! ♡

Let’s see how she looks from the back! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The fluttering appearance of the ribbons together with the gradient paintwork on them looks amazing from the back! Miku’s spine and shoulder blades are also a treat for the eyes, and all those creases along her outfit really make it look like actual clothes… the amount of detail is simply outstanding ♡

Her hair makes use of translucent parts on the end giving it a very light and transparent appearance that matches with the somewhat futuristic design!

Let’s take a closer look at her outfit!

The shining appearance comes from the fact that the outfit is painted with a pearl paint!

The fluttering appearance of the skirt as well as all the intricate ups and downs of the frills have all been carefully painted… I really wish everyone could see the figure in person!! You really need to experience this with your own two eyes!! The pearly paintwork really makes the details of Grizzry Panda’s sculpt stand out wonderfully! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

If we take a closer look at her hand…

The texture of the glove’s material is clearly there, and even stretched out to the point that you can just make out some of her skin color!

Her expression is a innocent and playful smile! (●´ω｀●)

The cute open mouth is actually carved out ever so slightly as a part of the sculpt, making it look slightly different depending on the angle you choose to look from! ♪

Plus those curves from her armpits to her upper arm… they are perfect to say the least!!

Although the thighs sticking out from her frilly skirt are also not to be missed!!

Nendoroid Kei Tsukishima

In the past I always considered cheese cake to be my favorite cake, but recently I think short cake has taken its place! Simple is best! ★

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Kei Tsukishima!

From the popular anime series and manga ‘Haikyu!!’ comes a Nendoroid of the Karasuno High School Volleyball Team’s ‘Clever Blocker ‘ – Kei Tsukishima! He comes with three expression parts including a standard face, a serious face as well as a condescending smirk.

He also comes a variety of optional parts that allow you to recreate popular scenes from the series, as well as a volleyball and a base made in the image of a volleyball court. Headphones as well as his sports glasses are also included as optional parts. Enjoy the clever Tsukki in various different situations from the series!

The Karasuno High School Volleyball Team’s ‘Clever Blocker ‘ with a rather sharp tongue, Kei Tsukishima is joining the Nendoroids! ♪

That confident look on his face captures his personality so perfectly! The slightly downward glance only adds to the effect! His soft looking hair has also been transformed into Nendoroid size looking as cute as ever! (/ω＼)

This time there is an all new pose never seen in the Haikyu! Nendoroid series before! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Rushing forward with a serious expression…

He makes it look so easy!!

Note that the net parts above are not included with Kei! They are included with Nendoroid Shoyo Hinata and Nendoroid Tobio Kageyama!

The parts above used for the blocking pose can also be used quite effectively to hold things! It’s actually quite adorable to make him hold life-size items! (*ﾟｰﾟ*)

△ As long as it’s quite light and you can balance it, he can hold various things!

Plus, he also comes with another optional part that matches his serious expression rather well! (｡・д・｡)

The Sports Glasses he received from his older brother, Akiteru Tsukishima!

I really enjoyed the story between the Tsukishima brothers, so it’s nice to have a part to tie them together! Finally, let’s take a look at his third and final expression…

“Running away? I thought you were the ‘King of the Court’?”

A condescending smirk! (´□｀｡)

That look on his face really captures him so perfectly – it’s a perfect Nendoroid rendition of the scene!! Plus if you look close you’ll see he also comes with headphone parts to display over his neck!

Plus if you change the angle it can also be used as if he is looking upward at you, allowing you to look down on your very own Kei whenever you want!

When you’re feeling tried while studying or at work and think you deserve a little rest, just meet his eyes and you are sure to get some energy to continue on! (It worked for me, at least!)

Obviously the glasses can be removed to switch between standard and sports glasses! ♪

By the way, he has a similar build to Nendoroid Tobio Kageyama, with a slightly taller stature than other characters!

Nendoroid Galko

Today I’m going to taking a look at…

Nendoroid Galko!★

From the ULTRA SUPER ANIME TIME anime ‘Galko-chan’ comes a Nendoroid of Galko-chan herself! Galko-chan’s unique physique has been transformed into Nendoroid size, but is just as impressive as ever! She comes with three expressions including a smiling face, a yawning face and an embarrassed face allowing you to create all sorts of scenes for the expressive Galko-chan!

Optional parts include her school bag, a book as well as text parts that read ‘Gyarurun’ to display beside her. The inner cardboard sheet of the packaging features a special background allowing you to recreate the popular scene from the anime series.

The flashy blond ‘gal’, that is actually very caring, open-hearted and popular in her class – Galko-chan is joining the Nendoroid series!! ♡

Her impressive body’s curves have all been preserved in Nendoroid size!

The loose collar, large bosom with a cute red ribbon and her moe fang all look great! ♥︎

Her long, flowing blond hair has also been sculpted in lovely detail and the paintwork preserves the slight gradient very nicely! The light blue scrunchy in her hair and even the little curl from that strand of hair has even been included in the sculpt! (●´ω｀●)

△ You get a good feeling for the volume of her hair from the back!

Plus, the packaging has an inner-cardboard shape with this printed on it!

△ Fans of the series might recognise the heart and star background!

A new challenge for Good Smile Company has been announced! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Hisatoshi Hayakashi has been working on mobile games since 2001, and was the general director for the hit game ‘Brave Frontier’ in 2013. Thereafter he worked on Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius with Square Enix before establishing his own company ‘Aidis’ on the 27th of January 2016. Ever since the company’s establishment, Aidis has been hard at work on building Grand Summoners.

The development of the game is by NextNinja, with music by Elements Garden. The game will also feature voice talent from well-known voice actors such as Tetsuya Kakihara, Saori Gotou, Satoshi Hino and more – all ready to bring you a fantasy world filled with endless potential! The game is currently planned for a released in July of 2016 – be sure to stay tuned for more information!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Co-de: Hatsune Miku – Ha2ne Miku Co-de!♥︎

Hatsune Miku is joining the ‘Nendoroid Co-de’ brand of figures! She has been sculpted wearing the ‘Ha2ne Miku’ module that was seen in SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project’s ‘Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA-‘ promotional video! ♪

Various other modules from the series are also in production, so look forward to coordinating your very own outfits for Miku!

From the popular Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- game comes a Nendoroid Co-de of Miku-san in a rather simple but classic module that really brings out her cuteness – the Ha2ne Miku Module!

A very relaxed color scheme with an outfit that looks a but like a school uniform. As always her twin tails look fantastic, and the pink hair accessories and headset are beautifully detailed! ♪

Even shrunk down to Nendoroid size, the short neck tie, collar and even the shiny silver microphone in her hand have all been carefully sculpted and painted! (´□｀｡)

The twin tails are not stuck in place, so you can move them to the sides for various different nuances! ♪

△ She is posed with one foot forward, inviting her fans toward her!! (/ω＼)

Nendoroid Co-de is a new addition to the Nendoroid series based on the theme of dressing-up characters! The figures have fixed poses and each come with four parts – the head, upper garment, lower garment and shoes. Each of these parts can be swapped between characters allowing for all sorts of possibilities. The more you collect, the more dress-up options become available to you!

In other words…! They are simple fixed pose Nendoroids, great for new collectors and with the ability to dress-up in various ways! Great fun for both young and old fans!

figFIX Sakura Kinomoto: Battle Costume ver.

I really wanted to try the cherry blossom frappuccino from a certain coffee shop… how can it already be finished?! Spring hasn’t even started yet!! _(:3 」∠)_

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a product up for preorder…

figFIX Sakura Kinomoto:
Battle Costume ver.!

Sakura Kinomoto from the classic series ‘Card Captor Sakura’ is joining the figFIX series of figma-sized statue figures! She has been sculpted wearing the popular outfit from the Watery battle! Be sure to enjoy her together with the previously released figma Sakura Kinomoto, figma Sakura Kinomoto: School Uniform ver. and upcoming figma Tomoyo Daidouji!

“Return to your true form! Clow Card!!”

Sakura Kinomoto is back once again, this time as a figFIX wearing her memorable outfit from the Watery battle!! Her big hat split into two long halves as well as the translucent skirt all converted into figure form perfectly! ♪

The little yellow balls on the end of her hat and skirt give such a nice fairytale atmosphere! The color scheme of light blues and yellow is also so very cute!! This is definitely one of the battle costumes that always stuck in my memories of Sakura-chan!!

The way the extends outward is a bit like an umbrella, giving the figure more volume that you might expect, particularly when combined with the rather large hat! Even from the back there are so many different highlights to look at! ♡

The Watery Clow Card is one of the four elemental cards, and thus one of the most powerful. If I remember correctly she figured out how to beat it when out for some shaved ice with Yukito-san! Ah I feel like watching the series all over again now!!

If you take a close look at the area around her neck you’ll notice that the top area actually has multiple layers – the light blue leotard has a transparent coating! Such amazing detail and sculptwork for a figma-sized figure! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Looking at the translucent skirt parts from a high angle like this shows they are also very carefully sculpted! I love the sleeve holes too!

Let’s have a quick recap about the figFIX series!

A series of collectible figures created as a spin-off to the figma series!

The figFIX series of figures is the same size as figmas (around 1/12th scale) so they can easily be displayed together, but they are fixed in a specific and well-known pose of each character, allowing for a more faithful representation as well as a reasonable price! The series allows the skilled craftsmen of Max Factory to put their skills to work on more delicate sculpting and paintwork for fans to enjoy! The head part of figFIX figures make use of the same joint as the figma series, allowing for some interesting display possibilities for fans to play around with as well!

In other words…
A figma-sized scale figure with a posable head！

Another thing to remember is that the expression parts can be used with figma figures as well, which means that you can use the figFIX’s expression part on the figma for a new selection of posing possibilities!

But anyway, let’s get back to Sakura-chan!!

As mentioned above, the head is exchangeable with other figma expressions for a variety of different possibilities, and also has a joint for slightly different nuances! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Plus, she is not alone!!

Kero-chan is also included!! (´□｀｡)

He comes with a special base that allows you to pose him flying about around Sakura-chan – or anywhere else! He also comes with a jointed neck that can move to the left and right for slightly different poses! ☆

It’s rather nice and warm today! Weather like this makes me want to take a walk along the Kanda river and enjoy the sun!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the ORANGE ROUGE item…

From the anime series Durarara!! x2 comes a figma of Ikebukuro’s strongest man, Shizuo Heiwajima!

The strongest man in Ikebukuro is joining the figma series!

The classy bartender clothes and sunglasses recreate the unique look of the man that is not to be messed with – Shizuo Heiwajima! His rather slender appearance and rather simple expression make you realize just how much his personality changes when showing off his more angry side!

He with the sunglasses, hand parts holding a cigarette and his orange cellphone! (/ω＼)

△ The hand holding the cigarette is included for both the left and right hands! ♪

You can also choose to display him without the sunglasses!

It gives you a better look at his Shizu-chan’s cool and calm eyes! (´□｀｡)

△ He also comes with a signpost to wield in his battles!

Shizu-chan stands around 155mm in height, which is rather tall for a figma!

The cute heroines of IS <Infinite Stratos> all sculpted in 1/4th scale dressed up in sexy bunny girl outfits for fans to enjoy! (●´ω｀●)

As usual, the net tights are made from real fabric for an authentic appearance!

Each of the girls also has their personal IS in standby mode somewhere on their designs! ♪

Nendoroid Petite: Hatsune Miku Renewal Highlights

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I was expecting to have warm and cheerful Spring weather by now, but I am instead shivering in my boots! Where did this sudden cold weather come from?! Everyone take care not to catch a cold!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at some of the more detailed points of this set I looked at last week!

Nendoroid Petite: Hatsune Miku Renewal!

A brand new series of Vocaloid characters is joining the cute articulated ‘Nendoroid Petite’ trading figure series – Hatsune Miku Renewal! The set includes six different characters all dressed up in the outfits of their most recent versions – including Hatsune Miku V3, Kagamine Rin V4X, Kagamine Len V4X, Megurine Luka V4X, MEIKO V3, KAITO V3.

In addition there is also one secret character that fans are sure to love! Enjoy the brand new, highly detailed and absolutely adorable figures of Miku and friends in your collection! ♪

I’ll be having a chat with the set’s head planner, Hamako!

△ Hamako joined the GSC planning team at the same time as me!

（・∀・）: “I’m happy to be on the blog again!”

As you can see, her desk is filled with a variety of Hatsune Miku items… why don’t you give us a quick introduction seen you haven’t been on the blog for awhile now!

（・∀・）: “My name is Hamako, a member of the GSC Planning Team! I am the head planner for Miku-related products as well as LoveLive products and more! Recently I’ve also been involved in the planning for Orange Rouge products such as the Osomatsu-san and Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! figures!”

△ Hamako is involved in a huge variety of products! ♪

（・∀・）: “My most recent product is of course these adorable Hatsune Miku Renewal Nendoroid Petites!”

Alright then, let’s take a closer look at what makes them so special! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

– Expressions –

（・∀・）: ” This time the figures are based on the V3 and V4X package illustrations which were done by iXima! The unique almost see-through touch of the drawing style has been carefully preserved on the expressions, and we really did our best to keep the lovely gradients in their eyes!”

They have slightly more mature expressions compared to their older counterparts! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

（・∀・）: “Yep! MEIKO and Luka in particular have a much sexier look than before!”

The two of them look really nice together! I notice that MEIKO’s microphone can also be removed from her hand for a slightly different feel – it looks a bit like the two of them are sharing the one microphone now! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

– Sculpting –

（・∀・）: “This is the third Nendoroid Petite VOCALOID set, following on from the previously released Nendoroid Petite:Vocaloid #01 and Nendoroid Petite: Hatsune Miku Selection. As always the overall sculpt is completely new, creating a very different feel for each character – they look a lot sharper than before!”

Nendoroid Petites normally have a fairly rounded appearance, but the edges of these outfits and hairstyles are so neat and precise!

（・∀・）: The hair and outfits have also been sculpted to match with the movement of their poses, bringing each of the characters to life more! ☆

KAITO in particular has such a dynamic feel to him with the coat and scarf fluttering around him! ε=(｡・д・｡)

– Preorder Bonus –

（・∀・）: “This time around, preorders of a complete BOX will include a pair of wing parts for Nendoroid Petites!”

This means that you can really display Miku by your side as the angel that she is!!

As if she wasn’t angelic enough all by herself, the wings make her look even more adorable! Of course you can also choose to use them on any other character as well! (●´ω｀●)

（・∀・）: “The wings simply attach to the normal Nendoroid Petite stand, so you can try them on any of your favorite characters!”

Even though the characters are so small, the amount of details and personality that is placed into them is absolutely incredible!! ♥︎ Who do you like the best, Hamako? Miku-san?

（・∀・）: “I love them all, but I actually think Rin-chan is my favorite this time around! I really love her new outfit – the ribbon on her chest, the white shorts and the overall cheerful but mature look of her is lovely!”

A new challenge for Good Smile Company has been announced! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

After reaching its 15th anniversary, Good Smile Company is taking a step into the world of Smart Phone Games. The first game will be a classic RPG designed with multiplayer battles – Grand Summoners. The multiplayer system will allow players to quest together in groups of four, each controlling one character. The game has been directed by Hisatoshi Hayakashi from Aidis. Hisatoshi Hayakashi has been working on mobile games since 2001, and was the general director for the hit game ‘Brave Frontier’ in 2013. Thereafter he worked on Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius with Square Enix before establishing his own company ‘Aidis’ on the 27th of January 2016. Ever since the company’s establishment, Aidis has been hard at work on building Grand Summoners.

Nendoroid Petite: Hatsune Miku Renewal

My body has become rather confused by the sudden jump in temperatures! What kind of clothes am I supposed to wear?!

Anyway, today I’ll be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Petite: Hatsune Miku Renewal!

In addition there is also one secret character that fans are sure to love! Enjoy the brand new, highly detailed and absolutely adorable figures of Miku and friends in your collection! ♪

Miku and friends are back again with all new outfits!♪

These lovely new renditions of the Vocaloids were first shown at the last WonFes! They are completely new sculpts all based on the more recent releases of the VOCALOID software, and they’re going to be going up for preorder soon! ♡

Each of the characters are based on their poses from the most recent package illustrations, but even the back has been carefully sculpted!

Each of the poses captures a lovely dynamic scene for each of the characters! (σ・∀・)σ

I get the feeling that they all look a little more matured when compared to the Nendoroid Petite: Hatsune Miku Selection released back in September 2013!

These two in particular definitely have a very mature vibe to them!

But perhaps the most important change with the ‘Renewal’ set is the new outfits!!

Even though they each stand just 65cm in height, the details and textures of their outfits are absolutely stunning! Look at the glossy effects on these two for instance! Kagamine Rin and Len V4X was only released last December, making this an incredibly speedy transformation into a figure as well! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Let’s take a closer look at them one-by-one!

◆ Hatsune Miku V3 ◆

The twin-tails have an all new twist to them that gives her a nice fresh appearance – they are also of course attached with ball joints allowing for some different nuances in posing! The glossy effect on her arm covers recreates the translucent appearance of the design!

◇ Kagamine Rin V4X ◇
