Over the Summer break I actually ended up playing around with clay quite a bit! If only I had started a little earlier I would have been able to enter my creation into the Good Smile Cup!!

Nendoroid Hiei! ♪
| From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the high-speed battleship, Hiei! She has joined the Nendoroids hoping to get a little bit closer to the power of her older sister, Kongo!
Hiei comes with three different face parts including her standard expression, a winking expression as well as her ‘half-damage’ expression! Optional parts include attacking effect parts as well as special effect parts to place around her feet which show her determined spirit! A tea stand and table are also included to serve Kongo at tea time, and her specialty dish ‘Hiei Curry’ is also included! |
Hiei is finally here!! （*´▽｀*）
The second of the four Kongo Sisters!
Just look at that confident winking expression! Not to mention the lovely Miko priestess outfit she is wearing! Kongo’s dress was completely blank, but Hiei’s has a lovely green chequered design which has been faithfully preserved on the Nendoroid! ♪
Speaking of faithfully preserved… this ship parts are also fantastic! (｀・ω・´)
Each of the turret barrels are separately articulated, and the turrets themselves can also be rotated to the left and right!!
As if that wasn’t enough, the arms they are attached to are also fitted with ball joints for fine-tuning the angles! The number of different positions you can put these turrets in are endless!! (*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ
Hiei also has rather short-cut hair, meaning her hair doesn’t get in way of the turret posing! You can even place them all in an X-shape like this…!
“Nendoroid Hiei! Ready! For! Anything!”
Using this lovely expression and clenched fists, you can recreate this epic pose! (｡・д・｡)
The winking expression is lovely, but the confidence overflowing from this expression is also so perfect for Hiei! ♡
Also take a look around her feet!
She comes with effect parts to show her powerful spirit!
It’s as if the seas are spraying out around her at the sheer power of her spirit!! You can also make use of the other included effect parts for an even more imposing look!
Firing effect parts, perfect for recreating combat scenes!
Combining the two effect parts makes it look as if the force of the cannons is causing the water to spray around her! The recoil from those cannons must be rather impressive! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)
The effect parts are joined together as double shot parts, and connect into the turrets with ease!
Hiei also comes with a half-damaged expression!!
However it has already been sent off to China…!! (´；ω；｀)

You can even see various ingredients floating about in the curry… it looks rather tasty! I can’t imagine why the Admiral ran away from her… (´□｀｡)

The table cloth even looks like it is made from fabric! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

It looks like Hiei is also bringing curry to the tea party… but by the look on Kongo’s face she isn’t too happy about that! (； ･`ω･´)
I can feel my imagination thinking up a story here… ><
Nendoroid Kongo is scheduled to reach wholesale stores on the 25th August, so she should be in everyone’s collections soon! Be sure to give her lots of love!
