Of all the make-believe games, I’ve always enjoyed make-believe banking best! Making up my very own notes and coins and playing around with them was so much fun! Although now that I think about it, I guess it was more like make-believe mint…
Anyway! Today I’m going to be taking a look at something Good Smile has some fun helping out with!
Red Dragon!

Source: http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Red_Dragon Red Dragon is a non-TYPE-MOON Role-Playing-Fiction project involving Kinoko Nasu, Gen Urobuchi, Ryohgo Narita, Izuki Kougyoku, the author of the light novel Mimizuku to Yoru no Ou, and Simadoriru, who works with the Stripe Pattern doujin circle. Hosted by the publisher Seikaisha, it will be a six day tabletop RPG session played by the various writers with Makoto Sanda as the Fiction Master. Much like the Record of Lodoss War series, its replays will be serialized on their official website during January 2012. The members of the staff have prepared one thousand pages and two hundred illustrations for the scenario over the period of a year, so that the authors may enjoy their session. Hitoshi Sakimoto has composed original music for the project, and Simadoriru was in charge of the art direction. Veia was in charge of Title Design. Kiyomune Miwa, the designer of Saint George for Fate/Apocrypha and Ukyō Kodachi, the writer of Macross Frontier light novels, are the Fiction System Designers who helped shape the fictional world with Sanda. Katsushi Ōta is the overall producer of the project. |

These are incredible! It must have been so much easier to imagine the epic battle thanks to these! But that aside… I have to say that I’m really impressed by the detail of full color 3D printing! It’s so detailed! (ﾟＡﾟ;)
(・∀・) “Yep! The feeling of the material is rather different to normal, but the sculpting detail and different colors are all of a very high quality!”
Even the finer details of the outfits are very carefully printed out!
They even come out fully painted as well! 3D printers really are quite amazing!!
(・∀・) “Obviously as pieces in the game they are rather small and some of the finest details needed to be left out, but all in all they are very faithful to the original designs!”
All this done just with 3D data!
(・∀・) “Yep! It’s actually quite a lot of fun to sit and compare the models to the original character illustrations!”
