Sweet seventeen has always been a kind of magical age to me! A second year high-school student… I wonder what I was doing back at that age…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Uzuki Shimamura!

From the popular anime series ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a Nendoroid of Uzuki Shimamura wearing her school uniform! She comes with three different expression parts including a cute standard expression, a cheerful smiling expression and a flustered expression for some more comical scenes.

Optional parts include her school bag and a flower for her to hold, allowing for various different scenes from the series to be recreated in Nendoroid size. Be sure to display her together with the previously announced Nendoroid Rin Shibuya and upcoming Nendoroid Mio Honda to display all the New Generation girls together!

The idol from 346 Production’s New Generations who is known for her trademark smile is joining the Nendoroids! She is the second New Generations character to join the Nendoroids, following on from the previously announced Nendoroid Rin Shibuya!

Nendoroid Mio Honda is also currently in development!!

Anyway, let’s get back to Uzuki! This is how she looks from the back!

Her characteristic hair style with one side of her long hair tied up looks great in miniaturized Nendoroid size! This pose also features parts that have her hands held behind her back!

She is posed wearing her cute school uniform with a lovely chequered skirt, as well as her school bag as an optional part to match! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

△ The large ribbon on her collar is also very cute! ☆

This allows you to pose her on the way to school, or on the way to the 346 Production offices from school!

The hair tied up on the side is also fitted with a Nendoroid joint allowing for more dynamic poses like this one!

Today’s main feature…!

Without further ado, let’s take a look at an item from Max Factory that went up for preorder today…

The 1/6th Scale…

Haruna Sairenji!♪

From the anime series ‘To Love-Ru Darkness’ comes a 1/6th scale figure of the heroine who has strong feelings for Rito, Haruna Sairenji! Just like the previous figures from the series, she has been sculpted wearing sexy lingerie and a bridal veil that makes use of translucent parts to recreate its see-through appearance. The veil can also be removed for a slightly different appearance.

While the design is rather simple, the detail on her lingerie and the tight feeling of the outfit makes for a very sexy Haruna for fans to enjoy by their side!

Oooooooooooh!! (/ω＼)

The beautiful if somewhat clumsy young lady without much experience or luck in love, Haruna Sairenj has been sculpted in a frilly white set of lingerie! ☆

The soft pale skin, tight-fitting lingerie and lovely veil all make for an absolute treat for the eyes! While she is in a rather simple pose, the amount of detail still makes for a figure you can stare at for ages!

The curves of her calves, thighs and bottom are incredible!!
Not to mention the intricate creases on her outfit around her sides!

Let’s see how she looks from the back!

The veil made from translucent parts looks very soft to the touch – the sculpt and material work together to really make it look like it is made from a light fabric! The sculpt also gives it a dynamic look as if blowing around in the wind, which also gets you a nice little peek at the nape of her neck!

The outfit’s transparent effect is also stunning! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ 

Just look at the outfit from her breasts down to her belly button! You’ll notice that the paintwork creates a lovely semi see-though appearance that is done so very well – you can’t help but start to fantasise a little about what is behind the outfit!

Let’s take a closer look at her bottom!

The ‘tight’ feeling of the panties gives you a good impression of how soft her skin is!

It does make me feel a little naughty for staring and taking pictures of her though… (灬ºωº)b. The intricate work on the frills on her outfit are also amazingly done! Just take a look at the attention to detail! ♡

Another thing that I personally love is the shiny lips! Her mouth is open with a bit of a surprised expression that gives both a cute and sexy feel to the figure!

Plus…! <○><○>

Can you tell what I’m getting at from this photo?!

Just look at the area where the panties were, where Haruna is now holding them up! You can see exactly where the elastic was by the indent in the skin! It’s so strange to touch the figure as I constantly expect it to be soft to the touch…! I had to stop and wonder whether I was actually taking photos of a figure a few times!

Anyway! Did you know this is actually the third in a series of figures from To LOVE-Ru Darkness?

The previous characters were also 1/6th scale and absolutely adorable!

The bridal veil on her head can actually be removed by swapping out from parts! This is how she looks from the back with no veil!

Removing the veil gives a better look at her lovely slender back and lovely hair! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

I love how she looks from this angle…!

The curves from her dainty fingers down to her belly button!! (●´ω｀●)

The pose also makes it look like she is gently brushing her hair with her hand!

But on the other hand… this angle give you this amazing expression!!

Without the veil she has a rather different feel to her!

Nendoroid Yamato

I like my omelettes fluffy! Just thinking of omelettes makes me really hungry though! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Yamato! ♡ 

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the battleship Yamato with all her ship parts included, creating a rather large figure for a Nendoroid! The 46cm turret batteries on her back feature a special connection allowing them to aim forward, and each of the gun turrets are individually articulated for all sorts of options.

The ship parts can also be opened out through the use of a Nendoroid joint! She also comes with a ramune drink and omelette rice as optional parts, as well as explosion parts to display her being attacked! Anti-aircraft guns are also included and can be attached to recreate her ‘Kai’ appearance!

Oooooooooohhhh!! (´□｀｡)

The long-awaited Nendoroid of the super-dreadnought developed in secret by the Kure Naval Arsenal as a trump card – Yamato! The largest Kanmusu to join the Nendoroids so far!! Even in the KanColle universe Yamato is seen as a sort of flagship for the series! ★

Her hair is tied high up but flows all the way down, gently blowing in the wind! The tight-fitting outfit has also been shrunk into Nendoroid size perfectly, with even the one sock longer showing off just one of her lovely long legs! Everything about her is so cute and fun to look at!

The ship parts are amazing, but by no means does that mean that Yamato herself isn’t! She’s beautiful!! ♥︎

Let’s see how she looks from the back! (o*・з・)o

The ship parts are so big you can hardly see Yamato herself!

You can at the very least still see her cute ponytail twisting around ever so slightly! Her radar umbrella is also faithfully included with a translucent plastic!

The huge ship parts remind you that she is a destroyer, but she also has these more gentle  parts to show she has a more gentle side to her personality too!

Each of the flowers in her hair have also been sculpted one-by-one and the hair accessory that becomes a part of the radar has also been very intricately made! There are really just too many things to look at on this figure… I don’t really know where to start! o(ﾟдﾟo≡oﾟдﾟ)o

Let’s take a closer look at her ship parts! ★ 

The left and right sides of the ship parts are connected to the center piece with Nendoroid joints, so they can be moved around in all sorts of different ways!

Plus each gun turret can be moved individually, and the batteries can each be twisted around as well! The amount of moving parts is quite impressive!

I’m sure everyone will have a load of fun playing around with it when they get their hands on her! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

I’m sure most eyes jumped right to her chest first… but what I want to point out is what is holding in her hands! Armor-Piercing Rounds! (σ・∀・)σ

I was also taking a close-up shot so that I could create a shot where the included fired AP rounds compare in size!! φ(．． )

Various different sizes are included and each includes its own little stand!

But there are still many more parts to recreate battle scenes!! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ！

Various effect parts for her turrets make for an amazing firing scene!! ☆ 

She really is huge for a Nendoroid!!

All seven of the turret batteries come with shooting effect parts! (´□｀｡)

Making use of all the effect parts makes for perhaps the most noticeable Nendoroid of all time! (Except perhaps Mikudayo…)

Plus the 46cm back cannon can be deployed to fire forward!

The battery itself can also be rotated around, meaning that Yamato can aim her cannon pretty much anywhere! So much firepower… but there is still more!!

Now with upgraded anti-air weaponry!”

Nendoroid Yamato even comes with anti-aircraft turrets for her left and right sides as well as an anti-aircraft machine gun for her left and right cannons as optional parts! These of course allow you to change her into Yamato Kai!

Plus she also comes with sitting lower body parts too!!

By the way! The very important details of the outfit have been faithfully included too! Take a look at the little opening in her skirt and you’ll notice a black sting and anchor!

As you can see here, the ship parts can also be completely detached allowing for a more standard Nendoroid size! She also comes with this alternate smiling expression which makes her look so very bright and happy!


Yamato Kai looking so very cheerful!! (●´ω｀●)

Oh yes! I jumped to the sitting parts too quickly! Note that she also comes with a left leg that include the ‘Hirihoukenten‘ kanji on her sock for the Kai version!

As I mentioned before though… people tend to focus on the ship parts a lot, but the Nendoroid itself is also amazing! Just look at the details on her outfit and hair!!(*ﾟｰﾟ*)

Her third expression is this lovely face!!

“H-Ha! That wasn’t even close to a direct hit!” 

Aaaah!!! So cute!!! (/ω＼)

She has that cute look of an animal that has been surprised by something that suddenly moved! ♡ Torpedo strike effect parts are also included, making battle scenes look even more awesome!

△ I was actually using it in an earlier photo!

And if you look from above…

Here you can get a good look at both the Kai Anti-air Machine Guns as well as the ‘Taking Damage‘ parts! 

There are so many optional parts!
I’ve lost track of how many I’ve introduced now…. but we’re still not done!!

“Stop calling me a hotel! I’m not that big!”

 

“Admiral, would you like a drink?”

Yamato’s ‘time calls’ in game include this line where she offers the admiral some Ramune to drink, so a bottle of Ramune is also included!! It’s make with a bit of shiny translucent material which really makes it look like there is some liquid inside!! (*´Д｀)

But we’re sill not done!!

She also comes with Omelette Rice!! ♥︎

Complete with a nice dash of demi-glace sauce and some green peas!

Such a lovely meal!♪ As expected of a hotel!

“I-I’m not a hotel…!”

 

The half-damage expression has a bit of an embarrassed look to it which works in various different situations! So cute!!

But that brings us to the end of her parts! ★

Let’s take another look from another angle!

Along with everything above she also comes with the alternate expressions as well as various different arm and leg parts and sitting parts!! I get the feeling the packaging is going to be rather… large!

For those of you are thinking that we went a little overboard with this one… you’re right. I agree with you 100%! However!

She is the first of the Yamato-class battleships!
We had to make sure she lived up to that name!♡

TITANFALL STRYDER

Today’s main feature…!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at… No! No, not Dayo-san! I’m going to be taking a look at an item from threezero that went up for order today…

TITANFALL STRYDER!★

From the popular multiplayer sci-fi shooter ‘Titanfall’ comes a model of one of the large robotic weapons known as ‘Titans’. The Strider is known as one of the more agile machines, and has now been shrunk down to 1/12th scale together with a pilot all in the IMC color scheme.

The Strider’s torso and leg armor plates, waist area, arms, fingers and more all move in various different ways boasting over 100 points of articulation. The cockpit hatch can also be opened and closed, and the included pilot of the same scale can even be seated inside. The inside of the cockpit, torso and back thrusters all feature light-up effects with interchangeable red and blue lights. The Strider also comes with a plasma railgun, and the ammo drum can even be detached from the weapon. The left shoulder features a missile launcher with a cover the can be opened. The included pilot is also gully articulated and is dressed in an outfit made from real fabric for a truly realistic appearance. Detailed armor parts are also included worn over the fabric, but can instead be detached is you desire. The pilot also carries a CAR101 weapon.

It’s… huge…!! (´□｀｡)！

Approximately 508mm in height huge!

And this is only 1/12th scale! Imagine seeing one of these STRYDER’s in full size!! You may remember in the past threezero also released the TITANFALL ATLAS – it was also really huge and great fun to look at and play with, and the STRYDER provides an all new, rather different charm that is just as enjoyable! I imagine displaying them together would also look amazing! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Let’s see how it looks from the back!

The thinner arms and legs allow the STRYDER to keep it’s manoeuvrability! The thigh area also has a very characteristic design! If we zoom in a little closer you can also see proof of all the battles the weapon has taken part in – it has a degradation appearance filled with scratches, dents and cracks! threezero do such amazing paintwork to make things appear damaged! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

△ The metallic look with fading colors and peeling paint really creates a history for the model!

It’s also so big that it’s rather hard to tell the size from photos! _:(´ཀ`」 ∠):_ 

△ Fighting pose! I really need to work on my posing of robotic figures!

Anyway, let’s move on by taking a look at some of the included parts!

First up is this huge Plasma Railgun! 

△ Compared with an iPhone6!

Just like the mech itself, the weapon has a heavy, mechanical and used appearance! 

△ It looks so heavy even in the photos! It is actually quite heavy too! ☆

Plus the ammo drum can even be spun around like so… 

△ Spinny, spinny~! ♪

Plus it can be detached too! ε=(｡・д・｡)

△ threezero really captures mechanical things so well!
Just this weapon alone could be a whole separate product!
△ The fingers can grasp around the weapon with ease! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Speaking of articulation, the cockpit can also be opened and closed! 

Once the top and bottom parts of the hatch are opened, you can even see the pilots chair inside! ♡

But that’s not all that opens up!  

The cover on the left shoulder mounted missile launcher also opens up! ☆

W-Who is that standing at the STRYDER’s feet?!

That’s right!

A 1/12th scale pilot is also included!

As if the STRYDER itself wasn’t detailed enough, the amount of detail on the fully articulated pilot is absolutely amazing! His clothes are even made from real fabric for a truly realistic feel and appearance! ☆

It’s hard to call this an optional part! He really is a figure it his own right!

You really need to take a long look at the details with your own two eyes! Just look at each of the belts all along his legs – each sculpted differently with buckles in various places!

Anyway, let’s get back to the STRYDER itself! Just like the TITANFALL ATLAS, the model has over 100 points of articulation! Not only can it hold all the included weapons by moving each individual finger separately, the legs, hips and even shoulders can all be moved around for all sort of options!ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

You can easily recreate your favorite scenes from the game, or instead come up with your very own original poses!

However! There is till even more to this figure!

△ This is how petite Mikudayo-san looks in the cockpit!

If we spin the model around to the back… you’ll notice a little button!!

It looks like a rather dangerous button to press, but I took the chance!

Oooh!! 
The STRYDER also features a light-up effect in various different locations! Not only that, but the lights also come in two different colors for you to enjoy – both red like above and blue like below!

Even the inside of the thrusters on the back are glowing!!

△ The cockpit area also features lights!

Placing the lit-up figure in a darker area creates an amazing atmosphere! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

It’ll be a tough choice deciding where to display it! 

Better in the light where you can see all the details… or rather in the dark where the light-up effects look incredible! Either way, it’s a a model filled with details, fun and amazing volume!

ThreeA’s MDL DEFENCE HAROLD – MEMBER ONE SHITTY 9  is currently up for preorder at the GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP!

In the battles of the World War Robot universe, self-controlled artificially intelligent robots made by the Rothchild Corporation are the primary weapons of war. Harold is one of the first generation robots, and while he may be one of the older models, his powerful artillery cannons and stable tank treads have proven time and time again they are highly reliable.

MDL Harold is the sole surviving robot member of the Noachis Defence League which saw the Earth Defence Force drop 100 Large Martins from the Iron Panda division on the city of Noachis. The battle for Noachis was a turning point for MARS, where all ongoing negotiations were cancelled and the ‘MARS ALONE’ edict was passed – MARS annexed itself from Earth completely to forge an independent future.

This of course was not seen favourably by the EDF! The war continues! The ‘Weekly Hobby JAPAN’ June edition will be going on sale from the 25th April 2015, and will feature the start of a new comic series ‘WWR THE SHITTY 9’. This figure is the first figure made in collaboration with the series – one of the members of THE SHITTY 9 Unit, MDL Harold! The figure is a pre-painted 1/12th scale fully-articulated model. The tank tracks are fully mobile, and his head can be pulled out from the body allowing for all sorts of different nuances in poses. He also comes with both manipulator arms with articulated fingers and cannon arms, allowing for even more variations for fans to enjoy!

This figure is exclusive to the GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP, and is the first in a series of figures from the WWR THE SHITTY 9 manga currently being serialized in Monthly Hobby Japan Magazine!(・д・｡)

Kahotan Post Office: May/June 2015 – Part 2

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

Summer isn’t even here yet and I’m already eating at least one ice-cream a day… how many will that become when things start to really heat up?!  *nom* (●´ㅂ`●) *nom*

Anyway, today I’m going to be continuing with taking a look at some of the photos that have been sent in for the May/June edition of Kahotan Post Office!

As always a big thank you to everyone who sent me photos!

It’s been so nice to see male figures in photos for a change! It also made it incredibly hard for me to pick a photo to use in my header as there were so many options!

But after much thought, I have decided on a photo for my header!

I love Nendoroids and Monster Hunter. I wanted to show my Lagia X Male Swordsman taking a break after a long hunt. He does not fear resting in a dangerous forest!

The photo brings out the atmosphere of the Monster Hunter universe so perfectly, and with just once image it manages to tell an amazing story! A lovely photo that I will be happy to use as my header!

I’m a big fan of ‘Lonely Gourmet’, and have been taking a lot of photos with figma Goro-san recently. Goro-san normally goes out for lunch, but today it looks like he has prepared a little food for himself! (*・∀・*)

Goro-san goes shopping, takes  a break in the park and then heads home to do some cooking and gobble down some food! This one needed both photos be be added to complete the story! Little food accessories like this really make photos with Goro-san all the more enjoyable! ♡

I wasn’t able to go out myself for photos so I decided to use a digital background image for my photo. Araragi-kun is holding ‘Kokorowatari’ with an origami hat as  koi flags flap in the background to celebrate Children’s Day!

figma Bubble Head Nurse

Whenever I come back to work after a holiday I always have a strange urge to keep my desk all neat and tidy. Not that I ever manage to accomplish that… but it’s the thought that counts, right?

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at an item from FREEing that went up for preorder today!

From the highly acclaimed horror game ‘SILENT HILL 2’ comes a figma of the Bubble Head Nurse – the sinister monster with an oddly sensual charm!

· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
· A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
· She comes with both the knife and metal pipe as weapons, and an original revealed head part is also included.

Just look at this bizarre mix of gross and sexy…!!

The sexy body is suddenly mixed with the frightful mouth and so blood stains… my mind is so confused! (´□｀｡)

The fleshy look of the body is done really well, not to mention the creases and stains on her nurse outfit!!

Plus when you look at her from the back…!

っ (*´Д｀)!!!

If her outfit was clear white and the veins weren’t quite so… zombie – you could easily make an angel out of this body…!!

FREEing really have done an incredible job keeping both the ‘creepy’ factor and the sexy side of the Bubble Head Nurse!

Areas such as her toes and chest feature a partition allowing for the unbalanced, wobbly poses that the Bubble Head Nurse is well known for in the game!♪

（；´-`）.｡oO（I was kind of worried she was going to jump to life and attack me while I was taking photos… )

As she is a figma, she also of course comes with various optional parts to play around with, so let’s take a look at those!

We will start off with her other ‘expression’ parts!♪

This is her ‘Bubble Head’ expression – you’ll notice a distinct lack of mouth when compared to the previous photos! The unnatural bumps and creepy, unexplainable look has been so beautifully sculpted!! (； ・`д・´)

Her arms and legs are amazingly done in both terms of sculpt and paintwork, but the work on the face is just amazing! You can’t help but stare… even though it’s really creepy!!

I-I don’t know how much longer I can continue this review.
I swear she just moved! ;_;

A-Anyway, moving on…

The first thing you might notice is the detail put into her nurse’s cap, but…. something else also seems rather different around the neck! (°д°；)

I’m sure many of you have already noticed… you can also pose her with this alternate head to recreate this other version from the game!

A rather different, ‘restrained’ expression compared to the other two!
It has a very distinct… rubbery kind of appearance thanks to the paintwork! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

It’s quite tempting to touch it to feel the difference between the texture of her skin and this mask!

In other words, three expressions are included!

Additionally, she also comes with both a knife and the metal pipe above, allowing for all sorts of different posing options! Simply pick the Bubble Nurse you want to run away from! (・∀・；)

Various different interchangeable hand parts also allow for original poses! Your very own Bubble Head Nurse to love!! ♡

I managed to catch a cold during my Golden Week and didn’t have the best holiday… the temperature changes are so unpredictable at the moment! Everyone take care not to get sick!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at some of the photos that have been sent in for the May/June edition of Kahotan Post Office!

I went out in hopes to get a nice photo that captures ‘Before Summer’, but I don’t think I quite hit the mark in the end… Either way, Ararararagi-kun is looking as cool and composed as ever, so I still decided to send it through!
