I’m a little unsure about this Sunday’s weather… the weather forecast says there will be no rain, but I think I’ll still make a teru teru bouzu just in case…!
Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at Nendoroid Kitakami‘s sister ship!
Nendoroid Ooi!
| From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes the sixth Nendoroid to join the series – the heavy torpedo cruiser, Ooi! The numerous torpedo launchers on her legs have all been faithfully included, but alternate parts also allow you to display her in her light cruiser form!
Her type-93 oxygen torpedoes are included together with effect parts for some powerful combat scenes, and she even comes with special hand parts that allow you to display her holding hands with Kitakami! Expressions include a smiling face and an annoyed face for all sorts of different posing options! |

Just last week we announced Nendoroid Kitakami for preorder, but it wouldn’t be the same if she didn’t have her sister ship to display by her side! We decided that Nendoroid Ooi would have to follow shortly… so she will be the second KanColle Nendoroid to go up for preorder his month! (｀・ω・´)
You can see all the torpedo launchers attached to her leg from this angle. It’s a little hard to tell from the photos from the front, but once again the ship parts are sculpted in incredible detail! Just like
Kitakami, they also feature double Nendoroid joints which ensure you can easily pose the parts around her long hair without problems! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

We’re joined by Kyojin from the planning team!
(・∀・) "Just like Kitakami-sama, Ooicchi also comes with parts that allow you to display her as a light cruiser instead!"
The mast part as well as the torpedo launchers all change out!

Oooh! She is really unloading everything upon the enemy! These effect parts really have an amazing impact… and yet they still look so cute at the same time! (o・ω・o)
(・∀・) "I can just hear her voice playing through mt head… ’20 Oxygen Torpedoes! Launching!’"
The confident gaze in her eyes with this expression is lovely…
But what are her other expressions?!
(・∀・) "Well… let’s move onto the next optional part…"
"These Type-93 oxygen torpedoes are so nice and cold… they’re lovely!"
Ahh! She’s so adorable…! (*´Д`)
(・∀・) "This pose was made to match her famous lines in the game!"
Ooicchi’s lovely smile is almost too bright for me!
This is the smile Kitakami-sama gets to see everyday!
(・∀・) "Speaking of Kitakami-sama… Ooicchi’s arms have been adjusted to work with her too, allowing you to switch arms between the two!"
Which means you can make poses like this one! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ
Grabbing both of them will allow for all sorts of poses between the two!♪
We’ve only seen one extra expression for Ooi… does she have another?
(・∀・) "Her other optional expression is rather special!
You can just see the ‘darn it’ in her eyes! ((((；ﾟДﾟ))))
(・∀・) "Many Admirals, myself included, will hear her tongue clicking in our minds!"
The gentle smile has transformed into something rather different! Ooicchi is a character that often speaks whatever comes to her mind creating scenes like this… but I’ll be honest and say I never expected this expression! (；´∀｀)

I just thought of a pose I have to make on Kitakami-sama!
Yay! Kitakami-sama can also hold onto the torpedo!! ♪
Ooi is a lot of fun alone, but it’s definitely a load of fun to display the two torpedo cruisers together! ♡
