Nendoroid Nozomi Tojo

I sometimes believe in horoscopes! There is one magazine that releases a special horoscopes section for each half of the year. I always make sure to buy that!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at this birthday girl!

Nendoroid Nozomi Tojo ♡

From the popular anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a Nendoroid of the spiritual girl who takes things at her own pace, Nozomi Tojo! She has been sculpted wearing her outfit used in the song ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’.

Nozomi comes with both a friendly smiling expression as well as a mischievous grin to choose from. Special arm parts are also included to display her ready to use her ‘Washi Washi MAX’ attack! She also comes with tarot card parts to bring out her spiritual side! Be sure to display her with all the other Nendoroid members of μ’s!

Nontaaaaan!!! (´□｀｡)

The third year student at Otonokizaka High School, and member of the μ’s school idol project who always keeps a warm watch over everyone else! Nozomi Tojo is joining the Nendoroids! This also of course means that all nine of the μ’s members have finally all come together in Nendoroid form! ★

Her sweet smile is absolutely adorable, but also note the details of her outfit! The ribbons and frills on her blouse and skirt are sculpted so intricately!! (σ・∀・)σ

Plus even as a Nendoroid, her bust is very noticeable! Look how the suspenders are lifted up around them!

The two pigtails are also attached with Nendoroid joints allowing you to easily match them with various poses! I personally love the way her hair is all bunched up at the two tied up areas!

Anyway, as I mentioned earlier,

Nontan’s arrival means that all nine μ’s members have become Nendoroids!!

It will unfortunately still be a few months until they all arrive in everyone’s collections, but now you have the opportunity to recreate the full ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’ stage in your Nendoroid collection! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

I’m glad all nine of them have been announced without problems!

Anyway, let’s get back onto today’s main topic! ♪

As you may have noticed, the photo at the start of the blog is the same pose from the first season’s opening theme, ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’! Just around the part of the song that goes…

The LoveLive! Nendoroids all allow for many poses seen directly from the opening animation, and they’re all a lot of fun to make! You can just hear the song playng through your head when you see the girls all posed in their dance poses! Be sure to pose your μ’s members enjoying their stage time once they join your collection!

But really… just look at her lovely smile…!

However!

She also comes with another lovely expression!! ((◎д◎　))ゝ

Her second expression is a rather mischievous grin!

You can tell instantly that she is planning something! The difference between the two expressions is huge and yet both capture Nozomi’s personality nicely! ♡

Plus as you can see in the photo she also comes with an optional part! Similar to Nendoroid Rin Hoshizora’s maracas, Nozomi simply had to include a Tarot Card! She just wouldn’t be her spiritual self without it! The card is an up-facing ‘The Sun’! I guess we can expect a nice bright future! ★ Plus the reverse side has also been faithfully designed!

Brings back memories of the school council room scene in episode two of the first season! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

figma Eli Ayase

My birthday is just one day away from Elichi’s! However I like dried plums…!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

figma Eli Ayase! ♡

From the anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a figma of the character who keeps things in order in the μ’s group, Eli Ayase!

· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
· Three expressions are included: A gentle smile, a slightly mischievous wink as well as an embarrassed expression!
· Optional parts include her school bag and the very memorable hamburger from the series.
· Just like the previously announced figma Honoka Kosaka, she also comes with two glow sticks of her image color.
· An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

The smart, athletic student council president and μ’s member with an amazing body to boot! Now joining the figma series! She is the second μ’s member to join the series following on from figma Honoka Kosaka! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Max Factory announced all nine members will be joining the series, so the others are also on the way!

Honoka-chan, Elichi… who will be next…?!

By the way, the figma series features each of the characters wearing their Otonokizaka Academy Summer uniforms! This allows you to recreate all sorts of fun scenes from the show as well as create your own everyday scenes! (σ・∀・)σ

Optional parts include her school bag so you can pose her on the way to school! ♥︎

She also comes with a lovely winking expression that suits her so very well! I also really love the way the creases on her outfit look, as well as the fluttering look of her skirt! I can tell a lot of effort has gone into the sculpt of this uniform!

The more intricate details around her hips are amazing!

A white vest may be simple, but nobody can deny that it looks great! Anyway, I showed the school bag above but she also comes with various other optional parts! <○><○>

– Hamburger –

The delicious fast food meal! A hamburger is included!

This allows you to recreate a certain memorable scene from the series that most fans should remember! (σ・∀・)σ

Combined with the included embarrassed expression, it creates a scene where she just noticed you watching her eat! The expression even kind of looks like she is chewing when used in a pose like this! ♡

Other parts are also included to create all sorts of different situations!

– Glow Sticks –

These were also included with Honoka-chan! ★

Each character comes with glow sticks of their own image color, which means that Elichi comes with light blue glow sticks! The glow sticks have a diameter of about 3mm which easily allows other figmas to hold them as well! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

You can give them to some other characters to have them cheer on for a μ’s performance!

Nendoroid Nishikino Maki

I prefer my tomatoes with sugar, not salt… but they’re best of all with nothing at all! Adding a bit of sugar makes them really seem like a fruit!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Nishikino Maki♡

From the popular anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a Nendoroid of the cool, confident and somewhat sarcastic μ’s member who composes the group’s songs – Nishikino Maki! She has been sculpted wearing her outfit used in the song ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’ and comes with both a smiling expression that shows off her beauty, as well as an embarrassed expression with downcast eyes.

She can also be posed as if playing with her hair, which along with the embarrassed expression allows you to enjoy Maki trying her best to hide her embarrassment! Be sure to display her together with the other members of μ’s!

The next in the Nendoroid LoveLive series is the beautiful 1st year student from Otonokizaka Academy, Nishikino Maki! ♥︎

But anyway, let’s get back to today’s review!

This is how she looks from the back! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

A super frilly skirt with even more frills on the hems of her blouse! Plus the crossed suspenders on her back!

… everything about her outfit is so very cutely made!

The cute little mini-hat is attached using a plastic sheet that fits in-between the two hair parts, which of course means you can also remove it if you prefer!

She’s also wearing knee-high socks!

Just like Honoka-chan and the others Maki-chan has knee-high socks allowing for pictures like this one that tease with an ever so slight view of skin!

Anyway, let’s move onto her expressions! The previous photos have all been making use of her standard smiling face, but she also comes with another one!

An embarrassed expression!! (●´ω｀●)

S-She’s so cute! So very, very cute!! ♡♥︎

As if the expression wasn’t enough, you can also place her hand up near her mouth like this for a very girlish pose! I just want to thank whoever decided to include this pose with the Nendoroid! (´□｀｡)

You can also make use of this expression with the alternate hand parts included to recreate her signature line…

“What nonsense!”

She looks just like she did in the series!!

This action is so classic of Maki-chan! ♪

You can even see her hand is posed as if twirling her finger through her hair! You really need to see just how cute this is for yourself!! <○><○>

Nendoroid Umi Sonoda

My heart has been shot by the arrow of Umi-chan, leaving me filled with a warm fuzzy feeling inside! She has certainly captured my heart!! Just look how cute she is! Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Umi Sonoda!♥︎

From the popular anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a Nendoroid of the diligent and hard-working beauty, Umi Sonoda! She has been sculpted wearing her outfit used in the song ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’ and comes with both a relaxed smiling expression and a blowing kiss expression!

She also comes with a large number of parts that allow you to recreate the dance moves from the opening theme of the first season! Be sure to display her together with the previously announced and other upcoming members of μ’s! ♪

The μ’s member with a family that did traditional Japanese dance is joining the Nendoroids with her long blue hair looking just as beautiful as ever! ☆

Just looking at the Nendoroid makes me hear her confident yet polite voice playing through my head! Her eyes also look so very gentle – just looking at them makes me feel a little more at ease!

She is also the 7th μ’s member to join the Nendoroids!

That leaves just the calm and collected first year student and the rather spiritual third year student!

But anyway, let’s get back to Umi-chan’s review! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Even as a Nendoroid her neat and clean appearance is clear!

Not only is she adorable, there is also a definite elegance surrounding her!

From the sweet look of Nico-nii, the strong and confident look of Eli or the gentle aura about Hanayo… all the μ’s members have had their characteristics brought out really well by the Nendoroids…

… and Umi-chan is no exception! The Nendoroid is filled with Umi-chan charm! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Let’s take a closer look at her outfit! ☆

She has a neck-tie, similar to Elicchi and Rin-chan! The pattern is rather different though – she has a blue striped tie with a jewel in the middle! It really brings out her ‘cool and cute’ charm! Great work on the design once again, Kotori-chan!

All the μ’s Nendoroids have such intricate details on the outfits! They also have a very idol-like feeling to them with all the frills on the blouse and pants! ♥︎

…and speaking of and idol-like feeling…

The famous ‘blow kiss’ pose can be faithfully recreated with this expression part! (●´ω｀●)

Umi-chan may be a rather shy person off stage… but on stage she has some rather bold acts like this one!

I think the fact that she is normally such a serious character makes this kind of pose all the more lovable to fans!! ♪

(・∀・) “It’s the scene where the second years all appear together in the “Bokura wa Ima no Naka de” opening theme! The second year students are finally all together!”

The μ’s Nendoroids have been released in order of their birthdays since November! Who would have thought that the first group to be completed by this order would be Honoka-chan’s 2nd years!! (´□｀｡)

(・∀・) “The Nendoroid series started off with wanting to bring all the members as soon as possible to everyone… having completed the second year members, it’s kind of a milestone that I’m glad to have reached! There are only two characters left to go now… but personally I’m hoping to bring you even more of the μ’s members in the future!”

Oooh! It seems we have heard the secret desires of Hamako! Perhaps we can hope for more μ’s even after the Nendoroids are done!

Anyway! As Hamako mentioned, all nine of the μ’s members are joining the Nendoroids… and while they are adorable by themselves, they really shine when you display them all together – particularly as the outfits all match together so well! The LoveLive! Nendoroids are also a little cheaper than most, making it a little easier on the wallet to collect all nine! φ(．． )

(・∀・) “By the way, Umi-chan comes with bent left and right arms and bent legs allowing for various different poses!”

For example! Pose her gently brushing her hair back over her ears! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The bent left hand is actually meant for placing at her hips, but with a little imagination you can always use it for other poses like this! ♪

Next up, a quick notice!

Last weekend, the latest information about the third season of wooser’s hand-to-mouth life was revealed! The third season is called the ‘Phantasmagoric Arc’!

The third season is being directed by none other than Seiji Mizushima, the same man behind things famous series such as Fullmetal Alchemist and Mobile Suit Gundam 00! Plus each episode will be written by a different person – all of which are well-known for various different things and are sure to make the third season amazing! <○><○>

To think the staff would get even more impressive!!

Nendoroid Rin & wooser: Light Ver.

Nendoroid Ren & Darth wooser: Light Ver.

These are similar to the previously released Nendoroid Rin & wooser + Mechawooser and Nendoroid Ren & Darth wooser, but the included items are slightly different! Just as the name suggests, they are a little lighter – in terms of optional parts, but more importantly also in terms of price!

Each will cost just ¥2,800!

Nendoroid Koizumi Hanayo

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

My best food to have with rice is grilled cod roe! Whenever I buy an onigiri I always pick the one with grilled cod roe in it!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a character who had her birthday yesterday!

Nendoroid Koizumi Hanayo! ♥︎

From the popular anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a Nendoroid of the normally calm and quiet character who becomes very enthusiastic about idols and white rice – Koizumi Hanayo! She has been sculpted wearing her outfit used in the song ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’ and comes with both a smiling expression as well as a distressed expression to recreate her ‘someone help me~!’ line!

Koizumi also comes with all sorts of arm and leg parts to pose her in various scenes – from dancing on stage to suffering from stage fright!! Be sure to display her together with the previously announced and other upcoming members of μ’s! ♪

Kyahooooooooo! (*´Д｀)=з

One of Otonokizaka Academy’s 1st year students who has always admired idols! Koizumi Hanayo is joining the Nendoroid series!! Just like all the previous characters, she is also sculpted wearing her outfit used in the song ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’ and she also comes with special arm parts to recreate certain dance moves from the song!

The opening theme just starts playing through my mind when I look at her!

She is the 6th member of μ’s to join the Nendoroids! ★

This is how she looks from the back! ★

A frilly mini-skirt really is the perfect outfit for an idol!

There are even more frills at the hem of her blouse as well – everything has been faithfully shrunk into Nendoroid size! (ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ

The star on her outfit is the same as Rin-chan’s, as the two of them have been friends even before they came to Otonokizaka Academy so they needed something to match up!

The fact that you can peek at her belly button is also lovely!!

Another thing to note is that her hair accessories also match up with Rin-chan! Kotori-chan was obviously keeping in mind just how close these two were while she designed their outfits!

It can be a lot of fun to find the matching points between their costumes! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

(・∀・) “Don’t forget about her extra expression!”

(・∀・) “To keep the price down a little on a large collection, the LoveLive Nendoroids only come with two expressions… which makes it so hard to decide on which one to use! However… after considering my options I decided this has to be the one!”

The expression Hamako decided on was…

Oooooooooooooohhhhh!! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾♡

She’s so adorable!!

I can just hear her voice saying “someone help me~!!” ♪

The tearing up eyes add to the effect so nicely! I just want to hug her!

(・∀・) “Once the expression got to this point I knew we had picked the right one! Also note that she comes with both left and right bent legs, allowing you to pose her toes turned inward!”

My first instinct is to want to jump in and help her… but my second is quite the opposite! The expression makes me want to tease her too!

Nendoroid Rin Hoshizora

Recently I’ve been having nothing but nice warm noodle dishes at meal time… nothing will ever beat a good noodle dish in the Winter! I could eat them everyday and never get sick of them!

Anyway, today I&m going to be taking a look at a Nendoroid who celebrated her birthday on the 1st of this month…

Nendoroid Rin Hoshizora!♪

From the popular anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a Nendoroid of the sports and ramen lover, Rin Hoshizora! She has been sculpted wearing her outfit used in the song ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’ and comes with both a mischievous winking expression as well as a cute smiling kitty mouth!

Rin also comes with the maracas from the ending theme of the series, as well as various other parts that allow you to recreate all sorts of dance moves! Be sure to display her together with the previously announced and other upcoming members of μ’s! ♪

The 5th member of μ’s to join the Nendoroids is none other than the cheerful cat-loving 1st year, Rin-chan!! ♥︎

Her cute winking expression has captured my heart and will not let go!!

She also has a neck-tie around her neck, but its a bright green and yellow tie to match with her colorful personality! ♪

Each and every characters personality is included within the outfits that Kotori-chan made for them! ε=(｡・д・｡)

(・∀・) “I’ve done my best to bring out everyone’s charms just like Kotori-chan did!”

We’re joined again by the figure’s planner, Hamako!!

(・∀・) “I spend many nights unable to sleep while carefully trying to figure out how to bring out the individuality of each of the μ’s members as best as possible! I’m sure it’s just the same way that Kotori-chan feels when she’s making their outfits, which makes me feel all happy inside!”

I think I’d enjoy that feeling too! (´□｀｡)
What would you say are your best points about Rin-chan?

(・∀・) “First up, her expressions! The winking face has a lovely cute charm to it, and in addition she also comes with a kitty face! Nya~!”

I can just hear her nya voice playing through my head!

(・∀・) “Of course she also comes with arm parts and a bent leg to even further recreate the kitty pose! It’s so cute!”

So many arm and leg parts allowing for all sorts of fun poses! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

(・∀・) “The second point I’d like to point out are the optional parts included… these ones!“

(・∀・) “I’m sure they are! They are the maracas that featured in the ending theme of the anime series!”

I always thought she looked so cute shaking the maracas in the ending theme! An excellent choice of parts, Hamako!

Isn’t this the first character from μ’s to include extra parts like these? <○><○>

(・∀・) “That’s right! After pondering what I should add for awhile, I finally decided that this was one of the best things to include both for her character and for a musical series like LoveLive!”

They really bring out both her cute and playful side very nicely! (/ω＼)

Bringing out memories from the series is one of the best things about figures and this pose does that perfectly for me! ♪

Nendoroid Nico Yazawa

A Nico-Nico smile for everyone!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Nico Yazawa!

From the popular anime ‘Love Live!’ comes a figure of the Idol Research Club President who tries day and night to be a better idol, Nico Yazawa! She has been sculpted wearing her outfit used in the song ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’.

Nico comes with alternate parts that allow her to be posed in her well-known ‘Nico-Nico Smile’ pose, and she also comes with the winking expression seen in the opening theme of the first season! Enjoy the company of Nico in her frilly stage outfit! ♪

Nico-Nico-Nii!

“Everyone’s idol” Nico-Nii is joining the Nendoroid series, and she can be displayed in all sorts of her famous poses!

This is how she looks from the back! ♫

The smaller details like the heart-shaped cuts on her gloves and the lovely frilly skirt are all faithfully converted into Nendoroid size!

(・∀・) “Don’t forget that this is also her birthday week!”

What are your most recommended points on the figure this time, Hamako?

(・∀・) “There are quite a few… but let me touch on some of the points that I really like about her!”

1) Stage Outfit

(・∀・) “Even in Nendoroid size the chequered skirt, tiny ribbons on her knee socks and the frills on her blouse are all carefully detailed!”

The red, black and white colors make a lovely combination! ♡

It’s the same outfit that the 1/8th Scale Honoka Kousaka is wearing! ♫

(・∀・) “The upcoming Nendoroids of μ’s will all be wearing this outfit to really make it a complete set for them to perform together! It’s the outfit from the song ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka de’.”

2) Expressions

(・∀・) “Along with the lovely smile for her ‘Nico-Nico-Nii’ pose, she also comes with this lovely face!”

Ooooooohhhh!! （*´▽｀*）

(・∀・） “These needlessly cute poses really do suit Nico-Nii perfectly!”

The winking expression captures her cute and determined sides all at once!

By the way… the expressions for Nico’s Nendoroid were drawn by the same Eco-shi that did the expression on Honoka Kousaka! The expression is filled Love Live! love! (｡・ω・｡)ﾉ

The other day I was allowed to sneek into the Good Smile x animate cafe one day before the official opening!

A collaboration cafe between Good Smile Company and animate to bring out the atmosphere of the world behind the theme cafes!

I’ve been rather addicted to acai drinks recently, so Iw as very happy to see this here! It really gives off that ‘cafe’ drink feeling!

Kotori Minami’s Black Sesame Seed Soy Milk Yogurt was a bit of a strange combination… but the taste was fantastic! Hanayo Koizumi’s Green Apple Juice was also a nice simple and sweet drink… I gulped most of it down in no time…! ♪

Next up we had food and dessert!

There is so much… it all looks delicious! Time to dig in!! (ﾉ´▽｀)ﾉ

– Rin Hoshizora’s Pork Kimchi and Chinese Noodles –

The kimchi are really the ideal level of spiciness, and absolutely delicious!! The included soup was also a flavor that suited my tastes perfectly!

For dessert…

Honoka Kousaka’s Strawberry Parfait!

Thick strawberry sauce, whipped cream and strawberries! An absolutely delicious dessert!

– Nico Yazawa’s Fruit Soup –

The name on the menu was too interesting to not try! A tropical, mangoish fruit soup sause with banana mousse and ice cream! The all went together perfectly! ♥

– Eli Ayase’s Chocolate Cake Set –

Even just looking at it… it seems so cute and perfect for a girl to eat… I’m on my third dessert, but I can’t resist!

Oooh! It’s so dense and delicious! ♥♥

The cake made me feel like a queen… it was such high quality!! The combination of vanilla ice cream just made it all the more luxurious! ☆

Phew… so many sweet goodies… it’s time to clear the palate with something savory! (/ω・＼)

With that said… add one more thing to my order!

– Maki Nishikino’s Shrimp & Tomato Salad –

This was also so delicious! The tomato, shrimp and cheese alone were amazing enough, but underneath all that was also some zucchini, paprica – various fried vegetables too!

Not only delicious, but also a great size! （*´▽｀*）

By the way, for each item ordered from the menu, a special coaster will be provided!

Note that the coaster is random, and not based on what you order!

Hmm… I also think I see a showcase in the distance!

In this display case you’ll find the Nendoroid Petite: Love Live! and Nendoroid Petite: Love Live! School idol paradise figures on display! ♪
