Nakigitsune

A big thank you to everyone who tuned in to the live broadcast! Today I’m going to be taking a look at Orange Rouge’s latest Touken Ranbu figure…

Nakigitsune!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a 1/8th scale of Nakigitsune as a faithful rendition of his standard standing pose.

His slender yet gallant appearance has been carefully sculpted together with all the finer parts of his outfit included in intricate detail – the mask that covers his face, the single shoulder cape and even the leg cape gently wavering in the wind. His fox companion curled around his neck has also been included, allowing Nakigitsune fans to enjoy all of his charms right by their side!

“Greetings! I am Nakigitsune’s companion fox! Time to head out!”

One of the Awataguchi blades, the Uchigatana Nakigitsune is being transformed into a scale figure!

His slender body, soft looking hair and lovely outfit have all been faithfully transformed into a figure based on his standard illustration – plus of course his companion fox has also been included curled around his neck!

The big rounded tail at the other end also looks amazing!!

You can see that this is a very well groomed fox!! ♡

△ I want to pet him! This profile look of Nakigitsune is also lovely!

Nakigitsune and the fox are both amazing themselves, but the details on his outfit are what really bring the figure to life! Look at all the creases and curves of the shoulder and leg cape as they waver in the wind! ★

△ The creases around his hips give a good feel for the thin shape of his body!

His trademark face mask and the magatama earrings both look amazing, and the various different textures are of the different parts of his outfit are all brought out so nicely with the sculpt and paint!

Even the neck tie has a slightly different, more glossy paint job to separate it from the other parts of the outfit! っ(。・ω・)ノ゛

△ The little gap between his gloves and outfit shows a little bit of skin! (⌯¤̴̶̷̀ω¤̴̶̷́)✧

An easy place to see the difference in textures I was talking about are his boots! Look are the soft looking black areas of the leather booths and then compare them to the golden tips!

△ All the little details of his character design have been faithfully preserved! ♪

He has been sculpted by Max Factory’s Nanako-san! ♥︎

△ If you look close you can even make out his mouth through the mask!

His outfit has such a lovely design!

△ Those long, slender fingers are something quite unique to male figures!

The details of his sword including the grip and guard are also a treat for the eyes! Be sure to take a nice close look once he joins your collection! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾

The sigil on his shoulder can also be found carved into the sword guard! (●´ω｀●)

△ Although it’s just a simple standing pose, the details really stand out! ★

You can pose him together with the previously released Touken Danshi and experience the difference in their personalities first hand!

He looks amazing all alone, but posing him together with other figures from the series really brings out the atmosphere of the game!! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Nendoroid Doudanuki Masakuni

Thanks to everyone who tuned into the live broadcast! Without further ado, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Doudanuki Masakuni!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the simple but strong sword, Doudanuki Masakuni! He comes with three face plates including his standard expression, a shouting expression for combat as well as a troubled expression.

His sword can be displayed sheathed or drawn, and the helmet he holds in his main illustration is also included. His scarf can easily be moved around to match your poses, allowing for various action poses to be taken. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“We’re weapons. The only thing we need to be… is strong.”

The simple yet strong and belligerent sword boy, Doudanuki Masakuni is joining the Nendoroids! ♪

His unique eyebrows as well as the scars on the left side of his face have all been shrunk down into Nendoroid size! The spiky looking appearance of his hair has also been very nicely sculpted giving him that easy-going look! (。・ω・)ノ゛

Plus that area of bare, manly abs between his sarashi and scarf!

The Nendoroid only stands about 10cm in height and yet you can still see the powerful looking muscles on the small area of bare skin! The sculpting still keeps to the chibi design nicely though! ★

His sword can be displayed both drawn and ready for combat as well as sheathed away in his scabbard – two separate parts are included to allow for this! Simply choose the part that better matches your pose! (・∀・)

△ This oblique angle of his face makes him look so valiant!

Anyway, let’s take a look at his first alternate expression, which is…

A Combat Expression!

As I’m sure any fans would have noticed, his eyes have changed into combat mode as well!!

His eyes are normally rather sullen, but they kind of awaken when it comes to combat! The pose of him running forward ready to draw out the sword also has such a strong impact! ♪

Bent arm parts are included for both left and right arms allowing for various fun and original poses as well! ★

Anyway, in game he isn’t very keen when you make him the commander of your group… which is why he also comes with this third expression…

A troubled expression!

The clenched teeth as well as the one closed eye…!

I can just imagine him saying ‘Ugh…’ when I look at this expression! The confident, diligent look that the previous expressions gave him seems rather far when you switch to this expression!

It’s always nice to have different options, and I can really see this expression working great in story poses with the other characters!

As usual, a special round base featuring his emblem is also included! ٩(๑òωó๑)۶

Nendoroid Yagen Toushirou

Today’s Main Feature!

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to the live broadcast!! Today I’m going to be taking a look at ORANGE ROUGE’s latest upcoming release:

Nendoroid Yagen Toushirou!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of one of the Toushirou brothers, Yagen Toushirou! He comes with three expression parts including his standard expression, a combat expression and a smug smile based on his ‘Yo, General’ line.His sword can be displayed sheathed or drawn, and the pair of scissors he keeps in his waist pouch can also be removed and held allowing for all sorts of different poses to enjoy! Be sure to add him to your collection!

“Yo, General. I’m Yagen Toushirou.”

The reliable short sword brought up on the battlefield, Yagen Toushirou is joining the Nendoroids! His silky, long hair looks great in Nendoroid size, and the combination of his army uniform, short pants and high socks looks just as amazing in Nendoroid form as it did in game!!

△ The scissors at his hips are also included! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The shiny, lacquered appearance of his shoulder armor is lovely!

△ The vermilion red string accessories add a nice bright contrast!

Yagen’s unique stance when holding his sword can also be recreated in Nendoroid size using the specially included arm parts! (●´ω｀●)

△ The short sword looks so adorable in chibi Nendoroid size!

At first look he might not look like the fighting type, but unlike all his other brothers he was brought up on the battlefield! That explains why he looks so confident holding his sword at the ready! (๑•̀ㅁ•́๑)✧

To make his combat poses even more valiant, he also comes with this Combat Expression!

Combat Mode!!

Those focused eyes together with the opened mouth suit him really nicely! He also comes with a special bent leg which allows for a bit more of a dynamic appearance for combat poses! The bare knee that sticks out thanks to his short pants is so cute!!

You could also pose him charging into his enemies…

…or instead pose him just before the battle! ♡

△ The hand on his chest can be seen as a challenge to his opponents!

Changing the angle of his face, or slightly altering the position of his arms can create such a different nuance! Be sure to try all sorts of different poses once he joins your collection!

A smug grinning expression based on his popular ‘Yo, General’ line from the game!! He looks like quite a mischievous little sword here!! I love it!!

Also note that the scissors at his side can also be removed and even held in his hand using a specially included hand part!!

Nendoroid Ichigo Hitofuri

Winter is definitely here now! It’s time for hot cocoa with marshmallows!! ♡

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Ichigo Hitofuri!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of Ichigo Hitofuri, the sword with many short swords as his younger brothers. He comes with three expression parts including his standard expression, a combat expression as well as a smiling expression to display him showing his gratitude.

His sword can be displayed both sheathed and drawn, and he comes with two different cape parts – one for his standard pose and another based on his combat appearance! Be sure to add Ichigo Hitofuri to your collection!

“As the dew, I fall. And as the dew, I vanish.”

The only long sword ever made by the renown sword smith Awataguchi Yoshimitsu: Ichigo Hitofuri is joining the Nendoroids! ♪

His gentle eyes and beautiful light blue hair as well as his refined, almost noble appearance have been transformed into Nendoroid size beautifully! As his one line in the game states, his clothes are far too fancy for his demeanour, but that doesn’t change the fact that they look amazing!! The gold used in various instances over the outfit really make the relatively simple design stand out!

The shoulder cape featuring his symbol is split into two parts, allowing for various different nuances in posing!

△ The wavering appearance through the sculpt is also lovely!

The shoulder cape also comes with an alternate version which can be swapped out for this pose! (´□｀｡)

Slightly more folded out, elegantly blowing in the wind behind him!

This part alone allows for a rather different atmosphere in poses! The appearance really works nicely in creating a tense fight scene – the moment before the battle!! ε=(｡・д・｡)

With that said, I think it’s time to take a look at his second expression…

A combat expression!

He looks so carefully focused on the enemies before him! A perfect stance with absolute confidence in his eyes!

As you can see, you can also pose his scabbard attached at his hips to allow for these combat scenes! The knot that ties the scabbard on is even tied up on this version of the scabbard – different to the one he holds in his hands! (・ω・)/

The tightly closed mouth and sharp eyes really give a nice tense feeling that combat is about to begin for Ichigo Hitofuri!

The spilt part of the shoulder cape can be moved up and around the arm like above, allowing for various different stances and ways to hold his sword! I can’t wait to see all the ideas that everyone comes up with! (*´Д｀)=з

We’ve had a relaxed expression and a combat expression, so let’s move on to his third expression…

A lovely smile based on his line from the game, ‘My thanks to you’! (/ω＼)

The pose with his hand to his chest brings out that gentlemanly personality so nicely as well!! I wish I had Ichigo Hitofuri as my older brother!!

Anyway, as Nendoroids are in fact action figures, let’s try out a couple of poses!! The poses and stories you can make with figures are only limited by your imagination!! Let’s see what my imagination is capable of… ｜ω･；)ﾁﾗｯ

– Patting One of his Little Brothers on the Head –

Ichi-nii is well known for always thinking of his little brother swords! I’m sure before he goes out to battle he always gives them a pet on the head! The cape blowing elegantly to the side makes his farewell even more touching!! ★

– Acting a Little Bashful –

Depending on how you look at it, the smiling expression can also be seen as a bit of an embarrassed expression! Here he have him raising up his arm as if trying to hide away his embarrassment a bit!

Compare the two photos above and you can see you can really experience all sorts of different sides of Ichigo’s personality through the figure!!

I also strongly recommend capturing your favourite poses of the Touken characters and sharing them! Because I want to see them too!!

△ Even a little change in the angle of the neck makes for a different impression.

Mikazuki Munechika

Thanks to everyone who tuned into the live broadcast today!
Today I’m going to be taking a closer look at the 1/8th scale…

Mikazuki Munechika!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Mikazuki Munechika based on his standard standing pose from the game.His gorgeous outfit has been sculpted with the most intricate of details, and the distinctive patterns woven on his dark blue kimono have been reproduced as accurately as possible. The vivid gradient of the kimono as also been preserved and can be enjoyed from any angle you please. Be sure to add the most beautiful of the Five Great Swords to your own collection!

“Well, they do call me the most beautiful of the Five Great Swords.”

Apologies for the long wait since we first showed his unpainted prototype at WonFes! The elegant, easygoing sword Mikazuki Munechika is finally coming as a scale figure!

△ Some people already had the chance to see him at AGF2015! ♪

The photos above are our release photos taken by a professional – the photos from here on out are photos I took myself in the GSC offices!

△ This is my favorite angle!

But no matter what angle you look at him from, he looks simply outstanding! The sculptor of the figure is YUMA (SWANBOAT no SOUZA) – the same sculptor that did GSC’s recent Saber Bride figure!

The intricate details of his outfit and accessories makes him seem so very alive!!!

The charm of the character is one thing, but the ability to transcend the world of figures and look so very real… this is something only an incredible sculptor can do! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Even from the back he is brimming with elegance!

You can just imagine how the outfit will flow in the next few seconds due to the way it is sculpted! It’s almost hard to believe that is isn’t going to move!! It’s incredible how such a simple standing pose can have such a lively and dynamic feeling to it! Let’s take a look at specific sections in a bit more detail, starting off with…

– Outfit Accessories –

The hair accessory displayed at an angle, the neck accessory and all the intricate little parts that adorn his outfit!!

All the knots tied around his outfit are also beautifully sculpted! (ﾉ｀・∀・)ﾉ

His gentle expression makes him look like someone you would only find far away from battle, but on the flip side the equipment and sword he carries also makes him seem like he is ready for whenever the battle may come!

– Outfit –

Even the intricate pattern that covers his blue outfit has been beautifully preserved in the figure!

The pattern is sculpted on and then has a gradient applied on top of that making an absolutely stunning outfit to look upon!

The reason Mikuzuki has taken so long to get up for preorder was due to all the adjustments and attempts at creating this pattern in a way that can be kept reliably during production! I think the wait has been well worth it though! (/ω＼)

The pearl paintwork also gives a similar atmosphere to the appearance of the original illustration!

One of the most interesting things about the outfit is that depending on how you shine light on it, it can come out looking quite different! It’s really quite fun to look at from all sorts of different angles to see how the light brings out Mikazuki’s beauty! ♪

Another thing I want to touch on is that the outfit looks ‘heavy’, the sculpt keeps that thick and layered feeling very nicely and really makes it seem like an outfit being worn rather than just another figure.

Anyway, now let’s take a closer look at the finer details that you could never really see in the illustration! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

– Arms –

If you look close up that sleeve, you’ll see a bit of his arm! Even some bare skin!!

The first time I looked I didn’t really know what to expect but I had my own personal opinions of what I wanted to see… I wasn’t disappointed!!

The photo is a little hard to see, but this is something you really need to see with your own two eyes!! Be sure to sit down and have a nice long look once he joins your collection!!

– Feet –

The front, back and sides of his tabi shoes are beautifully sculpted, and you can even see his ankles peeking out at the top!

So much attention to detail even in the areas you normally wouldn’t even see!! I know you might find my attention on his arms and feet a little strange, but they really are lovely to look at!! I hope my photos make them look as amazing as they do to me!! ( ；∀；)

– Expression –

Those eyes…!!

Those eyes just suck you right in!!! Not to mention her lovely lips with the mouth ever so slightly open!! They say that the expression is the heart of figures… and I have to say that after staring at this face for awhile I really think he is alive! There is a living and beating heart in this figure!! (°Д°；≡°Д°；)

Plus those crescent-shaped pupils! Mikazuki actually means ‘crescent moon’ in Japanese, so the eyes match with his name! I also love the way his hair curves toward his face on the ends! And those muscles in his neck!!

I-I can’t put his beauty into words!!

Plus with a quick switch of angle the expression has a rather different feel to it! Suddenly he looks more cunning, ready for a fight! I’ve been chatting about this figure with the planner for so long and we really never run out of topics! There is just so much to enjoy!!

I wish I could tell you more about him!! I want all the Saniwa out there to gaze at him in admiration like I do!! I want to share what I’m feeling when I look into his eyes!!

Nendoroid Petite:
Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- 1st Squad!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- comes a set of six cute and small articulated Nendoroid Petite figures! The set features the five starter swords Kashu Kiyomitsu, Kasen Kanesada, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, Hachisuka Kotetsu, Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki as well as Yamatonokami Yasusada!Each of the characters keeps their unique personality and style, even when shrunk down into a size even smaller than normal Nendoroids! Recreate your squad in adorable size!!

The Touken characters have been shrunk down to an even smaller size than standard Nendoroids to the approx. 65mm high Nendoroid Petite series! This first set contains six different characters including Kashu Kiyomitsu, Kasen Kanesada, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, Hachisuka Kotetsu, Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki and Yamatonokami Yasusada! ♪

Even though they are so very small, I’m sure you can see that the attention to detail on areas such as the intricate outfits, accessories and the lovely flow of each character’s hair is absolutely fantastic!! ♡

They look just as good from the back as well! (σ・∀・)σ

The different outfits and hairstyles of each character have all been captured so effectively even from the back which isn’t even visible in the original illustrations!! Each and every detail has also been polished to perfection to ensure a set of figures that fans will be proud to add to their collections! ★

Let’s take a closer look at them one-by-one!

– Kashu Kiyomitsu –

Give him all the love he desires!!

Even his diamond earrings have been kept in detail on the Nendoroid Petite! Also note the adorable little mole by his mouth!! (/ω＼)

– Kasen Kanesada –

His elegance has been preserved in Nendoroid Petite size!!

Note the way his outfit flows around him, gently fluttering about!! The amount of different colors used is also incredible for a Nendoroid Petite – even the back of his cape features a different color! ☆

– Yamanbagiri Kunihiro –

The hood over his head and the torn look at the bottom is lovely! ♪

He looks ready for a fight! The area on the right hidden beneath the cape is also faithfully sculpted and painted! Be sure to take a closer look once he joins your collection!!

– Hachisuka Kotetsu –

His golden armor and accessories around his hips faithfully preserve his graceful and noble appearance! (/ω＼)

The shiny gold appearance will be kept even for the final product! Worry not!

– Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki –

An expression that captures his frank and straightforward personality!

The spiky hairstyle and the unique look of his outfit from the top to the bottom have all been faithfully sculpted! You can even see the gun he keeps at his hips as an alternate weapon! The manly outfit looks so amazing!!

– Yamatonokami Yasusada –

This gentle smile makes it so hard to picture him saying his combat lines!!

The armor around his torso has shiny paintwork to differentiate it from the rest of his outfit! Lovely! ♡

Each of them is overflowing with amazing detail!!

Remember that each of these figures stands just 65mm in height! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

I don’t know how to dress up fancy. I don’t even know how to dress for Autumn. What kind of clothes are you supposed to wear in weather like this?! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at ORANGE ROUGE’s latest scale figure…

The 1/8th scale

Kashu Kiyomitsu!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Kashu Kiyomitsu. His well-known standing pose has been sculpted with his charming expression, elegant body and unique outfit all faithfully transformed into figure form.All the angles not seen in the original illustrations have also been carefully added onto the figure, allowing fans to enjoy Kashu from any angle they please. Be sure to give him the love and attention he has always wished for!

“Kashu Kiyomitsu, heading in!”

The first scale figure to be released under the ORANGE ROUGE name is none other than Touken Ranbu’s Kashu Kiyomitsu!! His appearance from the game has been faithfully converted into figure form! ♪

The release photos came out so beautiful that I had to include some of them in the blog as well! These photos are taken by a professional cameraman with careful attention given to the backgrounds and lighting.

Just look at the amount of detail captured on one single figure! Everything has been captured by sculptor Iwanaga Sakurako (Shokubutu Shojo-en) down to the most intricate of details!! (´□｀｡)

Let’s move on to my attempts to capture his beauty!!

The lighting is rather different which gives the colors a slightly different appearance, but this is how he looks under standard fluorescent lights! (/ω＼)

Kashu’s outfit is a lovely mix of reds and blacks, and while it doesn’t know much skin it makes up for it with class! Even the air around him looks fancier thanks to his classy outfit!!

This is how he looks from the back! (*´Д｀)=з

The long coat fluttering behind him gives a certain dynamic element to his pose that acts as a lovely accent to the entire figure. Even from the back and through the coat, you still get a nice idea of his slim physique and fancy outfit.

All the creases that you’d expect on a long coat have also been carefully included making it seem like it is actually made from fabric! Even though the reverse side of Kashu was never visible on the official illustrations, each and every detail has been carefully considered and sculpted to create a figure fans can be proud to own! ♪

There are so many details to look at that I don’t really know where to start, but I’m going to keep it to four main points!

– Detailed Outfit –

Overall the outfit has a very chic color scheme, but also note the fancier details such as the flower patterns and golden sword emblem on his collar! The golden buttons and belt buckle provide lovely contrast take makes for such an eye catching outfit!

The coat is amazing, but also take note his his shirt, vest and the red scarf around his neck! The figure makes him seem so much more real!! It’s like he is really right here beside me! (；∀；)

The gauntlets make use of a lacquer paint giving them a glossy appearance and a different looking texture to the rest of the figure. ♡

The scabbard, grip and guard of the sword his holds are also all very intricately detailed! Be sure to take a nice close look once he joins your collection!! っ(。・ω・)ノ゛

If we take a look a little bit lower, you can see that even the inside of his coat has been painted – and with a diamond pattern to boot!

Then at the very bottom we’re met with these tight pants and high heels!! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

The fact that the tip of his boots have a different texture also shows the attention to detail!

– Expression –

When I see Kashu’s expression there are three things that come to mind: belligerent, charming and mysterious! The figure brings across all of these three things and it captures them all so perfectly!! I’m sure that all Kashu fans have a slightly different interpretation of his expression, but I don’t think any will be disappointed with how the figure has captured it!!

The ever so slightly opened mouth also makes my imagination run wild!! I really wonder how many ways this expression can be interpreted! I really wish you could all see it with your own two eyes right now and tell me what you think!

– Fingers –

Kashu’s iconic crimson nails are carefully painted!

Unlike the smaller Nendoroid, the scale figure allows us to add even finer detail, and each of the fingers has been carefully painted and look absolutely amazing! (´□｀｡)

Not to mention the thin – somewhat dainty – look of his fingers also looks great in figure form!

Although the hands have painted nails, they also have a distinctly masculine feeling to them, and the directions and movements of each finger has clearly been so carefully through out during the sculptwork! It all comes together to look so beautiful! ♡

– View from Behind –

The wonders of figures! Now you can enjoy Kashu from any angle you please including from the back! That’s right! I’ve returned to his back because I really love it! It came out so well!! Just look at the flowing stands of his hair, the raised collar and the single section of hair flowing down to his chest! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

If you take a look from this angle then you can just imagine that he has come to protect you – as you crouch down in fear… your savior has arrived!! ！(/ω＼)

I had so many thoughts come to mind while taking pictures of this figure! Each angle you look from tells a whole new story which makes taking photos so much fun!!

That covers my favourite points about the figure, but there is still so many more details to enjoy!!

Nendoroid Shokudaikiri Mitsutada

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the sword always trying to show off his real potential, Shokudaikiri Mitsutada! He comes with three expressions including his standard rebellious expression, a serious combat expression as well as a troubled expression to show him worrying about not being as quite as cool as he wants to be.His sword can be displayed both sheathed and drawn, and he can easily take a variety of action poses to show off his abilities! Be sure to add Shokudaikiri Mitsutada to your collection!

He definitely looks cool to me!!

ORANGE ROUGE’s latest release is the fifth Nendoroid from Touken Ranbu, the rather fashionable sword wielded by none other than Date Masamune – Shokudaikiri Mitsutada!★

His awesome suit-like outfit with black gloves and an eye patch have all been shrunk down into Nendoroid size! He looks amazing!!

Even though his outfit contains a lot of black, the paintwork clearly separates different textures and shades for lovely detail! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

The colors of the outfit definitely have a rather dark appearance to them, quite in contrast with the last Touken Ranbu Nendoroid, Tsurumaru! Also note the details on all the accessories of the outfit! The intricate ties, golden buttons and armoured areas… there is so much to see!

As you can see in the above photo, you can also pose him with his sword drawn! He looks ready for combat now! I think one of my best things about Shokudaikiri is his gentle-mannered persona which really comes thorough in his expression here!

As with the previous Touken Nendoroids, Shokudaikiri will also comes with a round base featuring his sword emblem! ♪

Anyway! Now that we’ve seen his gentle expression…

We need to also see what he looks like in combat!

Those sharp eyes have already seen through his enemy’s next move…!

The expression really captures his fighting spirit with those eyes and his clenched teeth!

A very different feeling to the gentle look from the first expression! ♫

Anyway, let’s move onto his third expression…

A troubled expression!

Ooooooooooh!! (´□｀｡)

Suddenly he doesn’t look so ready for combat any more! This one is a much more everyday kind of expression! ★

Plus the way he’s scratching his cheek makes him look even more troubled…

This expression was created based on Shokudaikiri’s line from the game, “Hmm, I guess that was pretty lame…”! It’s one of those expressions that can be used in so many different ways!

Be sure to add him to add the cool sword to your Nendoroid collection!

Nendoroid Tsurumaru Kuninaga

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I’m actually quite the scaredy cat! Even when going to watch something enjoyable like fireworks I sit looking upon them thinking they are beautiful… while also cowering away from the large noises.

Anyway, today I’ll be taking a look at the first Orange Rouge product!

Nendoroid
Tsurumaru Kuninaga!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the sword warrior who loves surprising people, Tsurumaru Kuninaga! He comes with three different expression parts including his standard expression, a combat expression as well as a playful laugh for whenever he successfully surprises someone!Like the previous Nendoroids in the series, his sword can be displayed both sheathed and drawn. He also comes with other optional parts including folded arms, and… ?

Ooooooooohhh!!! (´□｀｡)

His lovely white hair and gentle golden eyes look so lovely!! Not to mention the white outfit with lovely golden accents all along it! As I mentioned, this is the first product to be released under the name ‘Orange Rouge’, the new brand that was established last week! ♪

The intricate details on all the accessories and parts of his outfit really make the simple design look so elegant, suiting Tsurumaru perfectly! (・∀・)

As with the previous Touken Ranbu Nendoroids, Tsurumaru comes with his sword in both sheathed and drawn forms, allowing you to create a number of different poses! He really has such an elegant look to his movements!

The way his sleeves are blowing in the wind together with the clear expression make him look so calm and confident! The chains around his shoulders also have a slightly dynamic feeling to them! ☆

Anyway, for those who haven’t been around recently, let’s have a quick recap regarding…

Orange Rouge!

Good Smile Company and Max Factory have been taking close notice of the demand and constant rise in popularity for male character products. In order to match the demand for these products, an all new brand dedicated to these male character figures and goods has been established – ORANGE ROUGE.

The brand will include products from the popular Nendoroid action figure series, the highly posable yet beautiful figma series as well as highly detailed and intricate scale figures. But anyway, let’s get back to Tsurumaru! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

His second expression allows you to recreate his combat mode!

“Right, let the main act begin!”

I can just hear his voice playing though my head now! Compared to his normal gentle expression, this one certainly has a more belligerent feel to it! His left and right legs can be moved around independently allowing his legs to be posed quite far apart like the last photo, or close together like in the first photo!

However… he also comes with some other optional parts that I have been waiting so long to show off!

He comes with hood parts that allow you to display him with his hood up!!!

The round appearance of the hood fits the Nendoroid appearance so very well! It’s so cute!!! Completely separate front hair parts and back head parts are included to recreate this look!! I’m not sure how I would want to display mine!!

Plus, just like the other previous Nendoroids, he also comes with a stand featuring his sword crest! (σ・∀・)σ

Although the brand has been changed to Orange Rouge, we still want fans to be able to display all the characters together, so these details have all been kept from the previous Nendoroids! ♪

Onto his third expression…!

A playful smile! ☆

“…Ahahahaha! Did I surprise you?”

Another expression that instantly makes me think of one his his famous lines! Depending on how you look at it, the smile can have a rather mischievous look! He also looks rather happy with the result of his surprise with those crossed arms!

Nendoroid Tsurumaru Kuninaga himself is amazing, but I definitely think the most fun will be had displaying all the Touken Ranbu Nendoroids together! Just think of all the original situations you could recreate in Nendoroid size!!
