Currently I’m being forced to wear a mask as I’m suffering from the pollen in the air… but I still managed to head out today to visit the 53rd ALL JAPAN MODEL & HOBBY SHOW that’s taking place this weekend!

Like me… I got lost and wandered into a DIY Exhibition.
GSC is taking part in the event with new figures on display and various product on sale! Today was a business-only day, so I managed to get in for a sneak preview! The photo at the start of the blog is of course a product that was announced on the GSC site yesterday…
COMBAT ARMORS MAX 01: 1/72nd Scale Combat Armor Dougram!
The box art illustration by Hidetaka Tenjin has been used for one of the booth’s banners!☆
Anyway, let’s head into the event hall!
As it was a business-only day the event was rather relaxed!
But what is that red car on the bottom left…?!
The Lamborghini Countach LP400: Walter Wolf Model!
It’s the real thing!! ((((；ﾟДﾟ))))
The way these doors open is one of my best things about the Countach!!
But it really does look lovely no matter what angle you look from!
You are actually allowed to get inside and take a photo at the event!
Plus we also have the 1/12th scale Lamborghini Countach LP400 (Red) on display!
The yellow version also looks lovely!
Moving along we have an anime preview corner! This part of the booth highlights the currently airing anime series ‘Kill la Kill’ and ‘Arpeggio of Blue Steel’! (*´Д`)
On the opposite side we have an exhibition corner which is easily noticeable by this huge banner!

First up of course is the product from the start of the blog…
COMBAT ARMORS MAX 01:
1/72nd Scale Combat Armor Dougram
This is sold as a plastic model kit that makes use of snap-fit connections, meaning that you don’t need glue to put it together! Even someone as clumsy as myself can probably put it together! ♥
Once it’s all been put together it looks fantastic!
I’m glad to see the attention and happiness this product is drawing already, and it’s scheduled to release in December! Almost no time at all! (・∀・)
Three other models from ‘Fang of the Sun Dougram’ are also on display!
The Fang of the Sun Dougram anime itself is also showing on the nearby booth monitors!! (｀・ω・´)
Moving on we have a special corner for all the admirals out there!!
The KanColle Corner!!
The ever popular Nendoroid Shimakaze is on display in her half-damaged pose!
Plus this event was the first announcement of the
GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP Exclusive Box Sleeve! ♡
I’m also very much looking forward to seeing how Akagi comes out!!
Unfortunately Nendoroid Shimakaze is not available for overseas order at the moment, but those in Japan can preorder her from the GOOD SMILE ONLINESHOP for some extras too! ♥
Another debut at the event is the Bathtime Collection!
She’s just TOO CUTE!! (*´Д`)ﾊｧﾊｧ
But that’s not all! There were also figma and scale figure announcements for the series so fans have a lot to look forward to! ★
The GSC-Tetsujin Cafe also announced a KanColle Café!

Here we have yet another little display corner!♪
The Anko Team of Ooarai Girls High are also all here! ♪
Finally let’s take a look at what will be on sale at the event!
We have both the Character Vocal Series: Earphone Jack Accessories, Nendoroid Petite Hatsune Miku selection, the Mini 4WD Nendoroid series and other miniature cars on sale!♡
threeA Products include the various powerful robots from Real Steel!!
Plus the various tools that are often seen at events are all available as usual!
On that note, there is also a Try-it-Yourself corner at the event!
You’re free to try and test the Takumi TOOLs series for yourself!!
We’ve prepared some brass wire for you to cut through and experience the lovely experience of using these tools! Oda-P is so confident in them he even prepared some for the KOTOBUKIYA booth next door to GSC! (｀・ω・´)ｼ
The booth was building up the HMM Gojulas for everyone to see!
They were kind enough to complement to tools, saying they made things much smoother and easier!! They’ll be continuing the model building over the weekend, so be sure to take a look if you’re at the event!! (・∀・)
