I’m sure that is a matter of interest at the moment, but let’s first take a look inside the cafe! As many of you may know, I’m a huge Fate fan myself. There are loads of fans here at Good Smile!
Inside the store are all the character designs used for Fate/Zero, which is now airing here in Japan! It’s definitely one of the most anticipated series this season, so if you haven’t checked it out be sure to do so!
You can enjoy looking at the detailed illustrations of your favorite characters while munching on some delicious food! The little Rin is so adorable!!
The sofas are surrounded by special extras!!
The Good Smile Cafe is well known for it’s giant extras that go along with the theme! :P
This time there are three different 1/1 scale items!

Saber’s weapon from Fate/stay night!!
The base beneath it has a light shining up giving it a really stunning glow, really adding to the atmosphere!!
(*´Д｀) o０○ It’s THE sword that Saber-san fights with!
Just imagining that puts a smile on my face! :P Unfortunately you’re not allowed to actually hold it or even touch it – but photos are welcome! Be sure to grab a picture if you stop by the store!
Neko-Arc! //ФωФ)
It’s huge! Absolutely huge! At the base you can see the Nendoroid Neko-Arc as a comparison.
It’s really a 1/1 scale version!
I want one at the entrance to my own house!
Unfortunately there are no plans to sell it at present. Too bad. :P You’re also welcome to take photos of this one! //ФωФ)
The Thompson Contender that Kiritsugu uses!
Oooh! This one is also incredible! This one is displayed inside a glass case – it’s very important to Fate/Zero!
You can even purchase a cast-version of this one!
You’ll need to put it together and paint it yourself, but it’s still a must have for fans!

But it’ll spoil the anime, so I didn’t take a look…. plus breaking glass is probably a little dangerous. :P
The covers alone are amazing to look at!
These are really amazingly rare items to have in the cafe! It’s incredible!
The Jyapunika Assassination Books!
They even have Sakura’s name written on them! :P
These are actually books for customers to leave their own thoughts and illustrations! There have already been three books since the Type-Moon cafe started.

Let’s take a look at the special menu items!
Sword of Promised Victory (Excalibur)!
A drink that makes use of Saber’s image color! It’s a blue curaçao with a nice grapefruit flavor! There are also floating yellow pieces of grapefruit in the drink which makes it really delicious!
Magus of Five Elements (Average One) and Makiri’s Glass!
These are based on Rin and Sakura’s image colors! Rin’s is rose-hip flavored with red ice floating inside to represent red jewels.
Then the Makiri’s Glass!
You get to drink from the fabled Makiri’s glass!! What flavor can it be?!

It really somehow seems like a very Sakura-like drink! It’s a very sweet drink that I think will really suit most girl’s tastes!
For each drink you order you will also get a coaster!
It makes it quite hard to decide which one to get!!
It’s so tempting to grab them all!

An eggplant and mushroom pasta!! The flag at the top is drawn by Nasu-san, and you’re free to take it home! Nasu-san is really like an idol to me, so I was ecstatic to see a feature like this!
The Emiya Plate! (with rice and miso soup!)
Designed off the Emiya family dinners!
Another definite must try for fans of the series!!
Which of course, includes me!! It also comes with a bowl of rice and miso soup. Just imagine yourself in the Emiya home while enjoying this wonderful meal!
And finally, the desserts!
The Command Seal !
Pancakes coated with some cocoa powder that looks like a command seal! The command seal is random each time you order, so you have to hope you get your favorite character’s!
It also comes with a side of chocolate ice-cream and some cream to enjoy however you want!
Carnival Phantasm Pudding!
From the left: Fantas Moon (Ark), Magical Amber (Amber) and Kaleid Ruby (Rin)
The caramel sauce in each is made with the color to suit each character!
For each food or dessert you order, you’ll also receive a lovely place mat! It features the line-up of Sabers – blue, red, white and black!
On the back is UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS, which is also awesome! These are free to take home with you after your meal, so bring along something to carry it in without it getting squished!
