Let’s start off with some news!

Nendoroid Lynette Bishop!

Will be up on the GSC website tomorrow!

I wanted to do a review of the master figure, but a couple of things got in the way and I ended up not being able to… sorry… But if you’re a Strike Witches fan be sure to check her out on the GSC website tomorrow!

Now let’s move onto today’s review!

There are so many figures to look at that were on display at WonFes… I find them all over the offices!!

This week is going to be dedicated to the Nendoroids!

Nendoroid Totori!

Totori is the main character from the popular role playing game called ‘Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland 2’. Her full name is actually Totoria Helmolt, and she is a young alchemist that is traveling the world in search of her missing mother… and now she’s joining the Nendoroids!
‘Atelier Totori’ is actually the 12th game in the Atelier series! It’s been going for a long time!!

This is how she looks from the back!

The Atelier series is famous for it’s unique illustrations that have a kind of transparent feeling to them – and you can see the same feeling is kept with the Nendoroid, which makes use of a lot of clear plastic to recreate the effect. If you look close you can see the dress has a lovely purple to pink gradient effect on the clear plastic.

She also comes with her staff!

Totori uses this staff as her weapon in the game, and so it had to be included with the Nendoroid. Even the tiniest of details have been carefully preserved for the Nendoroid version of the staff. Of course she also comes with a replaceable set of hands to hold the staff!

Here she is with her crying face!

Fans of the series should remember this expression and pose – it was used as an official illustration! She also comes with a flask and a blue test tube to hold!

Her homunculus, Chimu-chan!

She’s so tiny!! But even the tiny little Chimu-chan has gradient hair!! :P

She also comes with a smiling face!

And some optional parts – her bag and a bomb!

Totori is an alchemist so she can create all kinds of items like bombs. Although… that smiling face combined with her holding a bomb is a little worrying. ^^;

She also comes with sitting legs!

You replace her entire lower body to let her sit down!

Plus she comes with a bent arm and another test tube – a red one!

Isn’t she just adorable!!

  /o゚⌒(__人__)⌒゚o\ it almost brings a tear to my eye!”

She also has a replaceable ribbon for when she sits!

Posing her head to look down like really creates a depressed atmosphere… particularly with the crying face. But it’s still adorable. ^^;

Nendoroid Totori!

Who knows… there might be more from the series coming as well?
