I really wanted to try the cherry blossom frappuccino from a certain coffee shop… how can it already be finished?! Spring hasn’t even started yet!! _(:3 」∠)_

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a product up for preorder…

figFIX Sakura Kinomoto:
Battle Costume ver.!

Sakura Kinomoto from the classic series ‘Card Captor Sakura’ is joining the figFIX series of figma-sized statue figures! She has been sculpted wearing the popular outfit from the Watery battle! Be sure to enjoy her together with the previously released figma Sakura Kinomoto, figma Sakura Kinomoto: School Uniform ver. and upcoming figma Tomoyo Daidouji!

Sakura Kinomoto is back once again, this time as a figFIX wearing her memorable outfit from the Watery battle!! Her big hat split into two long halves as well as the translucent skirt all converted into figure form perfectly! ♪

The little yellow balls on the end of her hat and skirt give such a nice fairytale atmosphere! The color scheme of light blues and yellow is also so very cute!! This is definitely one of the battle costumes that always stuck in my memories of Sakura-chan!!

The way the extends outward is a bit like an umbrella, giving the figure more volume that you might expect, particularly when combined with the rather large hat! Even from the back there are so many different highlights to look at! ♡

The Watery Clow Card is one of the four elemental cards, and thus one of the most powerful. If I remember correctly she figured out how to beat it when out for some shaved ice with Yukito-san! Ah I feel like watching the series all over again now!!

If you take a close look at the area around her neck you’ll notice that the top area actually has multiple layers – the light blue leotard has a transparent coating! Such amazing detail and sculptwork for a figma-sized figure! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Looking at the translucent skirt parts from a high angle like this shows they are also very carefully sculpted! I love the sleeve holes too!

Let’s have a quick recap about the figFIX series!

A series of collectible figures created as a spin-off to the figma series!

The figFIX series of figures is the same size as figmas (around 1/12th scale) so they can easily be displayed together, but they are fixed in a specific and well-known pose of each character, allowing for a more faithful representation as well as a reasonable price! The series allows the skilled craftsmen of Max Factory to put their skills to work on more delicate sculpting and paintwork for fans to enjoy! The head part of figFIX figures make use of the same joint as the figma series, allowing for some interesting display possibilities for fans to play around with as well!

Another thing to remember is that the expression parts can be used with figma figures as well, which means that you can use the figFIX’s expression part on the figma for a new selection of posing possibilities!

But anyway, let’s get back to Sakura-chan!!

As mentioned above, the head is exchangeable with other figma expressions for a variety of different possibilities, and also has a joint for slightly different nuances! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Plus, she is not alone!!

Kero-chan is also included!! (´□｀｡)

He comes with a special base that allows you to pose him flying about around Sakura-chan – or anywhere else! He also comes with a jointed neck that can move to the left and right for slightly different poses! ☆

A new challenge for Good Smile Company has been announced! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

After reaching its 15th anniversary, Good Smile Company is taking a step into the world of Smart Phone Games. The first game will be a classic RPG designed with multiplayer battles – Grand Summoners. The multiplayer system will allow players to quest together in groups of four, each controlling one character. The game has been directed by Hisatoshi Hayakashi from Aidis.

Hisatoshi Hayakashi has been working on mobile games since 2001, and was the general director for the hit game ‘Brave Frontier’ in 2013. Thereafter he worked on Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius with Square Enix before establishing his own company ‘Aidis’ on the 27th of January 2016. Ever since the company’s establishment, Aidis has been hard at work on building Grand Summoners.

The development of the game is by NextNinja, with music by Elements Garden. The game will also feature voice talent from well-known voice actors such as Tetsuya Kakihara, Saori Gotou, Satoshi Hino and more – all ready to bring you a fantasy world filled with endless potential! The game is currently planned for a released in July of 2016 – be sure to stay tuned for more information!
