I feel like sushi today! The reason for that is that today is Mikudayo’s birthday! Everyone knows that Mikudayo loves sushi! However, all I have is a tuna mayo onigiri, so I will munch on that instead while thinking of sushi and Mikudayo!

Anyway, today I’ll be taking a closer look at…

I know I can’t be the only one falling for this coy Miku!

mebae’s delicate illustration transformed into a meticulous figure that captures the heart of the illustration perfectly!

Sculpted by Iwanaga Sakurako (Shokubutu Shojo-en), the same amazing sculptor behind works of art such as Deep Sea Girl, Aircraft Carrier Wo-Class and even the upcoming Satsuki Kiryuin!

This Miku looks so very gentle and ladylike, with beautiful slender legs, a dynamically sculpted skirt and hair and a hint of mystery! Taking a closer look at all the smaller elements of her design will make you realise just how incredible the sculptwork is! (*´Д`)

She is frozen in time at the perfect second her skirt is fluttering up around her!

It’s hard to believe the skirt is made from plastic! (； ･`ω･´)

I really thought that if I kept staring for long enough the skirt would flop down… it’s amazing to see motion and texture captured so realistically on a static pose!

The ever so slight peek at her stomach is also a lovely touch!

(・∀・) “Also note the detailed movements of her twin-tails!”

We’re joined by the planner for the figure, Hamako!!

(・∀・)”Miku is well-known for her bold twin-tails, which are sculpted spinning out in all sorts of directions to add to the dynamic feeling of the figure! Careful attention was also given to the use of depth to closer recreate the feeling of the original illustration!”

The hair wound around her right finger comes from the left side of her hair! I could never quite tell on the illustration, but the figure let’s you see everything from whatever angle you please! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

(・∀・) “The degree of accuracy of the hair is just lovely – just look at the way it curls around her arm and twirls around her finger! It looks so soft!

There is even some winding around her legs!! （*´▽｀*）

Speaking of her legs… just look how nice and juicy they look as the knee-highs squish her skin down! …Delicious!!

(・∀・)” Yep! At first glance Miku is very slender, but she actually has some rather sexy curves to her body as well!”

This angle gives you a good look at her arm and fingers! The upper arm looks so delicate and smooth!

You can also just see her thighs sticking out inbetween the knee-highs and skirt, and the overall posture of the figure gives her an effeminate charm! (´□｀｡)

To me her eyes have a very strong will attached to them – true determination! But at the same time they have a mature feeling to them. At the same time, the opened mouth with a gentle finger touched to it has a rather innocent charm to it… the mixed signals all in one expression just make her all the more charming! ( -ﾉｪ-)

(・∀・) “The figure was also checked directly by the original illustrator, mebae… who was very happy with the way she came out!”

Oooh! Even the original illustrator was happy with the figure! Yay! ♪

(・∀・) “There is so much to enjoy on the figure… her lovely expressions, dynamic sculpting of the twin tails and skirt, a bright and colorful outfit and careful work to bring it all together as best as possible! I know Miku fans will love how she has come out!”
