Even when I fly in my dreams I never seem to be able to fly very well… I guess my mind just can’t imagine it very well, so I just kind of hover at low altitudes instead… (´・ω・｀)
Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a figure releasing on the 27th November, who flies much better than I’ll ever be able to…
Nendoroid Yoshika Miyafuji: Shinden Ver.
Nendoroid Yoshika Miyafuji was highly requested for rerelease, so instead we decided to release a new version with a few changes and improvements!
She looks so cute from the back! （*´▽｀*）♡
Her tail can be attached and removed!
It leaves a little hole but that is covered up nicely by her clothes!
Like the previous version Yoshika comes with two types of stands – one standard which connects into her back, and a special ‘flying adaptor’ to display her soaring though the air!
This allows for all sorts of flying poses, even those from the back like this one! ♥
Thanks to the adaptor flying poses are still amazingly secure!
The ears are attached to her front hair parts, but an alternate hair part with no ears is also included to display her without them! ♪
Right… so what exactly has changed since the previous version of Yoshika?
I decided I’d be best to ask someone who knows best, so I decided to find the head planner for her… Uchitarou-san from Phat! Company!

What differentiates the Shinden version to the original Nendoroid Yoshika?
(・∀・) “Firstly, the coloring! The overall paintwork has been completely redone to better suit the character designs! Particularly the blue areas have a less vibrant color when compared to before.”
Ah, yes. Now that you mention it the area around her collar does look a little different. It definitely feels closer to how she looked in the series!
(・∀・) “The coloring of the guns have also been adjusted quite a lot… they have a much more metallic feel to them now.”
(・∀・) “Next up, the optional parts! Her new Strike Unit, ‘Shinden‘ is included now! It even includes all six separate blades on each side, as per the official designs!”
Down to the smallest of details! Not to mention that the propellers even spin!!
(・∀・) “There are still a lot more details to come with other optional parts… for instance, take a look at the Zero-Type 22 Combat Aircraft unit here!”
Oh? Are these colors what I think they are? ﾍ(ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ
(・∀・) “The colors have been changed to the colors of Sakamoto-san’s unit, making it easier to make more authentic poses from the series!”
The details add so much to her!! She’s shining so bright in my eyes! ☆
(・∀・) “Each of the propellers also includes an alternate part to display it spinning around, for a more realistic flying pose!”
Even effect parts are included?!
There really is so much fun to be had with her! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ
(・∀・) “Plus the expression parts have been changed to the #300 and over type, and the stand is also articulated!”
I’m also glad to see the stand is still the special Strike Witches type! ε=(｡・д・｡)
