Only 10 days left until WonFes!!
Nitohei! Are you alright?! Σ(゚Д゚;)
As you can see from the mask, it seems Nitohei from Max Factory has come down with a New Year’s cold and isn’t feeling too well… He is one of the main supervisors for WonFes, so I hope he feels better over the next 10 days!!

The Glenfire figure between his legs certainly looks interesting, but today I’m going to be borrowing the two figmas! (Although I’m not entirely sure I’ll be giving them back…)
From IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls:
figma Rin Shibuya!
From the hugely popular social game ‘IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls’ comes a figma of Rin Shibuya in her school uniform. She comes with a standard expression, a smiling expression as well as bashful smile with closed eyes. Special parts to display her with one hand in her pocket are also included and her pet dog ‘Hanako’ is included, together with a leash to take him out for walks. |
figma Anzu Futaba!
From the hugely popular social game ‘IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls’ comes a figma of Anzu Futaba wearing casual clothes. She comes with a yawning expression, a forced smile as well as a dead tired expression with closed eyes. A number of extra parts are included, such as her favorite plushie bunny, a game console, some candy. Tear-shaped stickers are included which can be used as tears on the yawning expression, or sweat on the tired expression. |
Aren’t they lovely?!
As expected of Max Factory, they really are perfect figma renditions of the characters!! I know it seems a bit pretentious to praise products from our sister company so directly, but I can’t help it – what’s perfect is perfect!! :P
You can also see the difference in height is easily noticeable between the two characters… it’s small things like that which really make me love figures! I’m still stunned at how beautifully these two came out…
This is how the packaging looks!
They both come with three different expressions, as well as a couple of optional parts that suit their character!
If you know the characters you’ll know exactly how well the extra parts suit them – Nitohei really put his heart into these figmas, and it shows! (By the way, Nitohei is a cool-type player in Cinderella Girls!)
Rin standing in a cool pose!
“Hmm, so you’re my producer? I guess you don’t look too bad.”
When I see her standing like this, I instantly hear this line playing through my mind! This pose uses the smiling expression together with the special arm that lets you display her with her hands in her pockets!
Hanako’s neck and collar can be rotated around, so you can display her in a way that suits your posing for Rin! Little details like this are always nice to see!
Here we have a playful Rin!
It looks like she’s having a great time with Hanako!! It’s so adorable!!!
It’s lovely to be able to create your very own poses like this, which is exactly why action figures like figmas are so great! Your very own version of Rin can stand right beside you!
Anzu-chan is also super cute!
This is dangerous… I think she’s almost TOO cute! Her shirt reads ‘If you work, you lose’, and it’s made from a very soft material so that you can pose around it, which means you can easily pose her sitting like this!
The expression here is the forced smile – it suits her so well, and every time I see it I wish I could give her some candy!!
Anzu-chan lazing about!
I’ve left the game open beside her so you can see just how similar this pose looks to the one in the game! The T-shirt is different, but the game console and candy that are included recreate the scene almost perfectly! Every time I see this image of Anzu-chan I can’t help but break a little smile…
The plushie she is using as a pillow here even has some dirty paintwork to recreate the original illustration down to the finest of details – something like that seems small, but it’ll cause a lot more work in the manufacturing process… but Max Factory always puts in the extra effort!
Rin is trying to convince Anzu-chan to work with candy!
You can display the two together like this to create some interesting situations!
If only there were even more figmas of the Cinderella Girls… I want to create my own Cinderella Girl theatre!! I’m hoping for even more characters, Nitohei!!
figma Rin Shibuya & figma Anzu Futaba!
She will be available at the WonHobby booth at the 2013 Wonder Festival (Winter)!
