It seems Tsukki is muching on some carrots in the office!<\/p>\n

Though I must say, that carrot looks a bit small… \u03a3(\uff9f\u0414\uff9f;\uff09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The carrot is in fact an extra part that comes with Nendoroid GUMI, to contrast the eggplant that Kamui rides! Let’s take a closer look at her prototype…<\/p>\n

From ‘Virtual Vocalist Megpoid’:<\/strong><\/span>
\nNendoroid GUMI!<\/span><\/p>\n

The image character for the Virtual Vocalist Megpoid, GUMI, is finally joining the Nendoroid world! You can pose her in all sorts of poses that became popular from a number of her songs!<\/p>\n

I know many of you have been waiting for her!! \u30fd(\uff9f\u2200\uff9f)\uff89<\/strong><\/p>\n

There have been requests for a Nendoroid of GUMI for ages, and now we are finally able to bring her to the fans!! Apologies for the long wait!<\/p>\n

This is how she looks from the back!<\/span><\/p>\n

Her hair has such a nice vivid green color, and even the little stand of hair coming off to the side has been faithfully kept in Nendoroid form! The tips of the hair are much darker with a gradient effect becoming lighter toward the center of her hair. Her outfit also looks lovely and detailed!<\/p>\n

Recreate the illustration on the packaging!<\/span><\/p>\n

Using the two bent arms you can pose her with her hands pressing the buttons on her headphones – the same pose from the Megpoid packaging! The actual illustration is a head-on frontal picture, but I decided to take a picture at a slight angle instead. She is also making use of the bent left leg part to really complete the pose!<\/p>\n

A winking expression and ‘Kira’ pose!<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m sure some of the fans will get the reference here, but I’m not going to expain it any further than that. :P<\/p>\n

This pose actually makes use of another bent left arm different from the one used in the above photo, as well as special hand parts!<\/p>\n

You can display her wearing the goggles!<\/span><\/p>\n

The goggles are included like this as an expression part, with the ones on her head being removable for a pose like this. This pose also makes use of a second type of bent arms, as well as the pointing hand parts to hold up her goggles with one hand, and her other hands held to her hips! You can get all sorts of poses out of the arms and hands included with her!<\/p>\n

I also only just realized, but even though the figure is seperable at the waist, you can still clearly make out the line from her hips to her legs! Ageta-san really is an amazing sculptor!!

But there’s still more!!<\/p>\n

A chibi expression and giant carrot!!<\/span><\/p>\n

GUMI comes with a total of four expressions!! \u00a0\u03a3(\uff9f\u2200\uff9f )<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It’s always great to have more variety!! Plus she comes with a giant carrot to contrast with the eggplant used by Gackpo! She can also be posed riding on the carrot just as Gackpo could be posed riding on his eggplant! You can connect the carrot to the Nendoroid stand to kind of make it look the carrot is soaring through the sky! She looks so cute!!\uff08\u00b4\u2200\uff40\uff09<\/p>\n

Nendoroid Gakupo was shipped out from GSC today!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Gakupo here is in fact an early sample that arrived the other day. It’s quite a bizzare coincidence that that Nendoroid GUMI is announced so close to the Gackpo’s release date!<\/p>\n

I decided I had to try swapping the two chibi faces too!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The photo above has Kamui and Gumi’s expressions reveresed, but they still seem to suit very nicely! The sizes between the product and prototype were a little different, but at release they should be completely compatible with one and other.<\/p>\n

Also, a quick warning about Kamui! (`\uff65\u03c9\uff65\u00b4)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When you display Gakupo riding on his eggplant, support it with the arm of the pedestal to releave some of the burden from the thin legs of the eggplant. They might break if you’re not careful!
