The blog has been featuring a lot of figures from other figure companies recently, and I’m always even more nervous about playing with prototypes from other figure makers… plus I was told that this prototype was off for magazine photos after I was done with it, so I had to make sure I didn’t leave a scratch on her!! :P<\/p>\n

That said, it’s hard to get a good look at the figures if you can’t get to events, so I’ll be sure to get a lot of lovely photos for everyone!!

\nGift’s: <\/strong><\/span>
\n1\/8 Scale Homura Akemi!<\/span><\/p>\n

From ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica’ comes a 1\/8th scale figure of the calm and cool Puella Magi, Homura Akemi, sculpted by Satoshi Toda (Principality of Kagutsuchino). The unique sculpting work of Toda-san creates a figure that has an incredible presence!

\nThis is how she looks from the back!<\/span><\/p>\n

The crease in her tights just behind the knee needs a special mention! The detail really gives the whole figure an amazingly realistic effect!

\nA lovely sleek pose!<\/span><\/p>\n

Her whole body from her upper arm down to her waist is simply gorgeous! I think this photo is actually the best of all the pictures I took of her, as the close up on her body really shows off the sensual appeal of the figure. Her clothes are also\u00a0sculpted\u00a0to look so soft and velvety!

\nA super sexy expression!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Toda-san’s sculpting is well known for these more realistic expressions – just look at that charming little mouth! When I get hold of her for myself I think I’ll add a topcoat onto her lips to make them more shiny!\u00a0\u00a0(*\uff9f\u2200\uff9f)=3

\nHer pistol and shield!<\/span><\/p>\n

Two items that really define Homuhomu are of course a part of this lovely figure!\u00a0The shield is painted a tannish color that fits together perfectly with Toda-san’s sculpting style!

\nThe pedestal is also very elaborate!<\/span><\/p>\n

The base at the bottom is sculpted to look like the space-time continuum, while the actual part Homuhomu is standing on is made to look like a soul gem. Both make use of lovely clear parts and the pedestal as a whole is placed at an angle which really suits the posing.<\/p>\n

\nThe lacing on the skirt looks so fluffy!<\/span><\/p>\n

I love it when dresses have a large fluffy lace, so this is perfect for me! Plus you get to see her lovely thighs alongside the fluffiness!

\nJust look at those lovely curves!<\/span><\/p>\n

Her waist is just perfect…. I could look at it forever!<\/p>\n

The figure gives off a somewhat more mature look compared to the normal Homuhomu, which also means it’s all the more sexy!

\nThe sculpting of the hair is beautiful!!<\/span><\/p>\n

The dynamic feeling the hair gives is fantastic, it seems to curve in at the ends so neatly! A perfect example of that third dimension that really gives a whole different appeal to anime characters!<\/p>\n

The figure as a whole really is the perfect example of all Toda-san’s unique styles coming together to make a wonderful figure!
