I was in Osaka from the 10th to the 12th of August to help setup for the WonFes <\/span>Japan Exhibition Tour! (`\uff65\u03c9\uff65\u00b4)<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(Although I can’t help but think I didn’t really help out all that much…)<\/p>\n

I got the chance to chat with a lot of customers – there was one question that came up very often!<\/p>\n

Akarin was being used back at the Tokyo headquarters… but I thought I’d take a look at her today to make up for not having her at the event!

Nendoroid Akari Akaza!
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

From the anime with a second season currently airing, ‘YuruYuri’ comes a Nendoroid of Akari Akaza wearing her Nanamori Middle School uniform and striving to get noticed as always!! She comes with all sorts of extra parts allowing you to make many cute poses including the famous ‘Akariiin’ pose!

This is how she looks from the back!

The Nanamori uniform has a lovely design even from the back! I love the different shades of red – they really seem to suit the Nendoroid design too!!<\/p>\n

The hole in her back is of course for an arm-stand to hold her up for display!

\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Yes!! YuruYuri is starting now!!”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

You can recreate the title call scene!<\/span><\/p>\n

This is definitely one of the poses that just had to be included!! A winking expression, bent arm and pointing finger are included to make it possible. The short sleeves are also articulated for slightly varying poses!<\/p>\n

Using the included bent leg and pointing finger parts you can recreate her rather embarrassing self-introduction scene!<\/p>\n

Akari lost something rather important…
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

This is from the scene where Chinatsu takes Akari’s first kiss and leaves her in this dazed state. The expression makes her look like she has really lost all hope!<\/p>\n

A separate hair bun part is included that allows you to pose her like this lying down with her bend her head just slightly to the left! You can tell the head pf this project was quite dedicated to making her amazing!!

Having her stand-up with the expression is quite scary!<\/span><\/p>\n

Hair bazooka!!<\/span><\/p>\n

You can even pose Akari firing off her hair buns as they did in her delusions. Just remove the hair buns and add the smoke, effect parts and hair buns in that order!<\/p>\n

The smoke parts actually have a joint on them and can be moved up and down, so you can even choose the direction they are firing off at!<\/p>\n
