The cold weather here in Japan has been continuing for quite awhile now &#8211; I hope everyone is keeping warm!<\/p>\n<p>Today I&#8217;m going to be taking a look at&#8230;<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-size: 22px;\"><span style=\"color: #6c8dad;\">Nendoroid Snow Miku: Crane Priestess Ver.<\/span>!\u2606<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mikatan.goodsmile.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/-000\/\/1\/2018-01-16-48543.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" contenteditable=\"inherit\" src=\"http:\/\/mikatan.goodsmile.info\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/-000\/\/1\/2018-01-16-48543.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"515\" height=\"418\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #cbffd3 none repeat scroll 0% 0%; padding: 10px; border-radius: 10px; border: 2px dotted #32cc12; text-align: left; font-size: 13px;\">\n<p>2018 marks the 9th anniversary of Snow Miku, and the 2018 design was once again selected by fans through online votes between a selection of outfits all submitted to piapro by fans! This year the theme was &#8220;Animals of Winter Hokkaido&#8221;, and the winning Snow Miku design was this version based on a red-crowned crane illustrated by Taichadon! The illustration has now been converted into this adorable Nendoroid!<\/p>\n<p>The hood can be attached and removed for a different look, and she comes with three different face plates including a standard expression, a wistful smiling face as well as a prayer face with closed eyes and a touch of lipstick. Optional parts include a kagura bell and folding fan to pose her performing traditional dances! A cypress stand to place the tools on as well as kneeling parts are also included to display her in prayer, and a crane made from ice is also included for her to hold in her hands.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, a large base featuring a paved road and torii archway is also included to bring out the temple atmosphere, and she comes with a broom to display her cleaning the temple grounds! The snow on the base can even be removed for even more display opportunities! She was originally created due to a snow sculpture of Hatsune Miku made at the 2010 Sapporo Snow Festival, and has been a part of the &#8216;SNOW MIKU&#8217; festival in Hokkaido every year since. The 2018 theme for Snow Miku is &#8216;Animals of the Winter Hokkaido&#8217;.<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>The design this time around was based on this illustration by\u00a0Taichadon!
