Murakumo Kai-II<\/a>!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a new addition to Good Smile Company and Max Factory’s “Wonderful Hobby Selection” series of top quality figures – the fifth Fubuki-class special destroyer, Murakumo in her Kai-II form!<\/p>\n

The figure has taken care to capture Murakumo’s charm as faithfully as possible – from her lovely long legs wearing dark stockings all the way up to the impressive long hair flowing behind her. Her 12.7cm twin high-angle gun mounts as well as the sharp appearance of the ship parts above her head have also all been faithfully included! Be sure to add the determined Murakumo Kai-II to your collection!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The latest in the Wonderful Hobby Selection from Max Factory comes a lovely 1\/8th scale figure of the\u00a0fifth Fubuki-class special destroyer: Murakumo<\/strong> <\/span>in her Kai-II<\/strong><\/span> form!<\/p>\n

The gentle curves of her body and the contrasting sharp appearance of her ship parts make for a figure filled with so many highlights!!\u00a0\u30fd(*\u00b4\u0414\uff40*)\uff89<\/p>\n

From the back you can see the incredible dynamic sculpt of her hair as it flows behind her!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pose is based on her standard Kai-II illustration from the game! She stands on one leg in a rather simple pose, but the dynamic appearance of her hair makes it look like the whole figure is dashing forward! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)<\/p>\n

But anyway, let’s get back to Murakumo Kai-II<\/span>! \u30fd(\uff9f\u2200\uff9f\u30fd \u4e09 \uff89\uff9f\u2200\uff9f)\uff89<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A lovely\u00a0determined smile and cute eyes with sharp corners makes for an adorable expression, and her body is absolutely stunning!! (\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The way the outfit sticks so closely to the shape of her stomach and the detail of the creases formed from that really shows the quality of the sculpt! You get a feel for the softness of her bare skin even though it is all covered up!!<\/p>\n

Also note the collarbone!! It also looks rather impressive!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tights covering her legs are also gorgeous with a lovely glossy look!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The thing to note here is that the slimmer parts of her legs have a darker appearance while the thicker areas are light as the fabric stretches! \u2605<\/p>\n

Her rather characteristic loafer shoes also have a lovely texture as well as a mechanical appearance to them!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Areas such as beneath her shoes were obviously never visible on the original illustration, but they have been specially thought out and sculpted for the figure!<\/p>\n

The same thing goes for the area underneath her mini-skirt….! I really can’t go into much detail but let me just say that the artisan’s at Max Factory really know how to capture the feeling of different fabrics!! Be sure to take a nice close look once she joins your collection!!! I can’t say anything more than that!!<\/p>\n

Let’s go back to the her hair again for a second! \u266a<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I already touched on the movement, but there is another thing about this hair that really stands out – the paintwork on the upper areas is a different color to that of the underside!!\u00a0(\u00b0\u0414\u00b0\uff1b\u2261\u00b0\u0414\u00b0\uff1b)<\/p>\n

The underside has a slightly lighter blue to it that not only brings out the three dimensional feel of the figure but also adds an extra light and bouncy feeling to the hair as it flows behind her! \u266a<\/p>\n

The little bunches of hair tied up\u00a0to the sides of her face are also faithfully included on the figure – and in lovely detail too!<\/p>\n

Last but not least, let’s take a look at the ship parts! \u30fd(\uff9f\u25c7\uff9f )\uff89<\/p>\n

They are not only detailed, but also can be moved around spun around for different nuances when posing!!<\/p>\n

Scale figures generally focus on the details more than the playability, but it’s always nice to have these moving parts for a little extra fun as well!!\u00a0It’s the little things that all come together to create an absolutely stunning product!\u00a0♥<\/p>\n
