Now we continue with last week’s teaser!<\/p>\n

<\/span>Last week I gave you a quick look at her, but today we’ll be doing a much more in-depth review! <\/p>\n

I think I may have been looking forward to doing this review even more than you all wanted to see it – so I’ll be taking a load of photos. :P<\/p>\n

\nThe 2nd in the Madoka Magica 1\/8th scale figure series:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Homura Akemi!<\/p>\n

<\/span>She is of course the mysterious transfer student from the popular anime series, ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica<\/em>‘<\/em> – now here as a wonderful 1\/8th scale figure to join the first figure from the series,\u00a0 Madoka Kaname<\/a>!<\/p>\n

This is how she looks from the back!<\/span>
\nShe is posed as if the wind is blowing through her long black hair!!
\n
\nPlus those beautiful legs just have to be mentioned!!
\n<\/strong><\/span>That body-line made from her thighs to her knees is just stunning!<\/p>\n

A closer look from the front!<\/span><\/p>\n

A much simpler design when compared to Madoka’s Puella Magi outfit, but it’s still very detailed when you look up close!\u00a0 Just look at the folded over sleeves and neck area, as well as that thin ribbon – such fine craftsmanship!<\/p>\n

This angle gives the SHAFT pose effect!<\/span><\/p>\n

As I’ve said on the blog many times before, I don’t normally take photos from below the figure, because they generally look much cuter when you look at them straight on or from above! :P<\/p>\n

But Homura-chan really looks good from this angle!
\n<\/strong><\/span>I really think it brings out her personality nicely!<\/p>\n

Her skirt is absolutely fantastic!
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

I love the way the frills are blowing up like that – it’s such wonderful sculpting. And just look at the thigh on the right! It’s so perfect!<\/p>\n

That S-line is the perfect shape for a girl!<\/span><\/p>\n

The wrinkles around her waist area are so subtle but really add a nice depth to the figure! The design of the outfit really suits her so perfectly!<\/p>\n

A Soul Gem on her hand!<\/span><\/p>\n

This picture is actually enlarged – the gem is even smaller than this, but as you can see it’s really almost scary how detailed it is for such a tiny part of the figure… her pinky finger is also lifting up a little bit higher than her other fingers… such wonderful detail!!<\/p>\n

Those legs really are incredible!<\/span><\/p>\n

I don’t only mean that in a sexy way, I mean they are amazing sculpted as well! Just look in particular at the thighs and knees – they’re just perfect! You really have to get a nice close look for yourself! If you think you have the same tastes as me then this is definitely a figure you’ll enjoy! :)<\/p>\n

The parts just replace her arms entirely from the shoulders down. It wouldn’t be a real Homura-chan figure without these as an option!<\/p>\n

Ah, by the way – the Kyubey here is the one included with Nendoroid Madoka, and isn’t included with this figure. (I was a bit worried balancing him on the prototype like this…)<\/span>
