Greetings everyone!\u00a0I have recently discovered that wrapping up one’s face is very useful for stopping the cold! Chan-shuu from Good Smile Company’s planning team here! (@gscs_hirase<\/a><\/span>)<\/p>\n

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the most recent addition to ORANGE ROUGE’s Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- Nendoroid line-up…<\/p>\n

Nendoroid Yamambagiri Kunihiro<\/span>!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

From the popular browser and smartphone game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the powerful sword who thinks too little of himself – Yamambagiri Kunihiro!<\/p>\n

He comes with three face plates including his standard expression, a combat expression as well as an embarrassed expression based on his line “Don’t call me pretty!”. Additionally, his sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn allowing for various different situations. Be sure to add him to your collection!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“I… am no fake.”<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0uchigatana that is more than strong enough but has a bit of a self-esteem issue is joining the Nendoroid series! The cloth he has wrapped around his body and head has been faithfully included and specially designed to not get in the way of the articulation allowing for all sorts of different poses while still keeping the unique shape of his character!<\/p>\n

If you look close you’ll also notice that his pants and the cloth have been sculpted with slight damages to them, keeping even the smallest details in tact on the Nendoroid – you can even see the small little hole in the hood near his right eye!<\/p>\n

\u25b2 Note the edge of the cloak!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The damaged appearance as well as the slight change in color along the edges with a gentle gradient helps to capture the appearance from the original illustration quite nicely!\u00a0There is a parting line on the back on the prototype, but this line is planned to be removed from the actual version!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25bc Next up we have a combat pose!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25b2 A confident expression for combat!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This expression is based on the combat illustration from the game and makes use of his ‘combat’ expression! Compared to his standard expression he suddenly looks a lot more determined and ready for a battle!! (;\uff9f\u2200\uff9f)=3<\/p>\n

Also note the details on his outfit, such as the white stripes on his jacket that go all the way along to his back! Each with two lines each time!! The intricate pattern on the tassets have also been carefully converted into Nendoroid size!<\/p>\n

\u25b2 Battle Pose #2!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Like the previous Touken Nendoroids you can choose to display Yamambagiri with his sword drawn or sheathed! This also means that you can display him with his right hand holding the sword and his left hand holding the scabbard – it makes it look like he has just drawn his sword for a fight!<\/p>\n

\u25bc Next up we have his third expression…<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25b2 An Embarrassed Expression!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The way he is averting his eyes with a slight blush… it captures the line “Don’t call me pretty!” perfectly!! This expression isn’t actually seen in the game, and was just based on that specific line!(*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*)<\/p>\n

\u25b2The hood comes in a second version!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This alternate version allows you to cover up more of his face which works together with the embarrassed expression so nicely! The way he is just peeking out slightly shows his embarrassment all the more!<\/p>\n

\u25b2 A base with Yamambagiri’s symbol!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just like all the previously released Nendoroids from Touken Ranbu,\u00a0Yamambagiri comes with a special base that features his sword symbol printed on the top!<\/p>\n

By the way, you may have noticed that today’s review featured some amazing Japanese-themed Nendoroid-sized backgrounds! This is thanks to this amazing playset that went up for rerelease today!<\/p>\n

\u25b2 You can create various different scenes with different combinations of the parts, and the sword can also be removed from the scabbard! There are also left and right hand heart parts to hold some of the items, but note that some Nendoroids won’t be able to use these hand parts!<\/p>\n

\u25b2 A hidden door in the wall! The sliding door also opens!!<\/strong><\/p>\n
