Today I’m going to be taking a look at a product currently up for preorder…<\/p>\n

Rin Shibuya<\/b><\/a><\/span>!<\/span><\/p>\n

From the popular anime series ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a 1\/8th scale figure of Rin Shibuya! The figure is based on the illustration by Yuusuke Matsuo seen on the 1st\u00a0volume of the Blu-ray & DVD jacket for the anime series.\u00a0Her gentle gaze, long hair flowing out behind her and lovely outfit have all been faithfully reproduced based on the original illustration, allowing fans to enjoy Rin by their side whenever they please!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

A figure of Rin Shibuta based on the\u00a01st<\/span>\u00a0volume of the Blu-ray & DVD jacket for ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ anime series! I’ve been working here at GSC for over two years now, but I’m still always amazed when I see the transformation of an illustration into a figure!!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway, let’s take a nice close look at all of the lovely details that make this figure so very charming!<\/p>\n

Starting off with her expression!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\n<\/a>\u25b2 The expression captures that cool yet wistful look of Shiburin so nicely!<\/div>\n
But if we look from a slightly lower angle…<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
\u25b2 This angle makes her look a little more shy!!
\nIt’s as if she just can’t cover up her mouth with her arm! (*\u00b4\u03c9`*)<\/div>\n

Or instead from a slightly higher angle…<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25b2 She’s looking straight forward with a more confident look to her now! ( ;\u2200;)<\/div>\n

This is one of the best things about figures! They are made with so much care and detail that they look great no matter what angle you choose to look from… and can often give a whole different impression when you change the angle!<\/p>\n

Anyway, let’s take a closer look at the sculpting!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u25b2 Just look at this skirt! Isn’t it fantastic?!<\/div>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
\u25b2 This is how it looks from the back!<\/p>\n

The use of space between the folds in the skirt as well as the gaps between her hair, arm and skirt are all lovely! Plus the way the folds in the skirt bundle up in certain areas looks great!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The illustration obviously only ever displayed the single front angle of the figure, which means everything you see at the back here was all sculpted through the imagination of the figure’s sculptor!\u00a0I know I would never be able to think up the entire reverse side of an illustration to sculpt the back in such detail…<\/p>\n

\u25b2 The edges of the skirt faithfully keep the pale white pattern!<\/div>\n

How did they keep the pattern in such intricate detail…
\nI look forward to seeing how they will reproduce this on the final product!!<\/p>\n

The inner white skirt makes use of a translucent material which gives a nice semi-see-through appearance to the design! It’s perfect!!<\/p>\n

\u25b2 So close and yet so far!
\nHow can something so frustrating be so pleasing to look at!<\/div>\n

You’ll have to wait till she joins your collection to see more!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Plus another part that I really fell in love with are the bare feet and floating loafer shoes…<\/p>\n

It really gives the impression that the feet have just been released from the shoes with the way her little toes are sculpted! The shiny appearance of the leather shoes has also been faithfully preserved through some amazing paintwork! It makes me want to feel the smooth leather for myself!<\/p>\n

Shiburin herself is actually posed as if floating in the air, and I swear when I look from this angle I can see some angel wings sprouting from her back!!<\/p>\n

She really does look like such an angel!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Be sure to add her to your collection and enjoy the company of the angelic Shiburin whenever you want!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
