Today I’m going to be taking a look at…<\/p>\n

Alloy Shimakaze!<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes an action figure of Shimakaze that makes use of alloy! The originally designed joints allow for an impressive range of articulation, allowing the figure to be enjoyed as an action figure while also faithfully retaining the original proportions of Shimakaze.The figure also includes three different Rensouhou-chans that can each be deployed as different pieces of equipment for Shimakaze to equip! When all deployed they form a helmet, arm, leg and back armor as well as a powerful Rensouhou hammer which allow for all sorts of fun poses!<\/p>\n

As you would expect from the name, various parts of the figure are made from alloy, creating a rather different texture, feel and weight compared to normal action figures. She also comes with three interchangeable expressions including a standard face, a combat face and a smiling face. A carton of delicious heavy oil is also included as an optional part.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Shimakaze’s slim physique has been faithfully made into an articulated figure, and she even comes with a set of transforming Rensouhou-chan figures that become her armor and weapon!!\u00a0\uff3b\u2579\u25b3\u2579\uff3d<\/b><\/p>\n

\u25b3 You can see the transformations of the Rensouhou-chan’s here<\/a><\/b>! \u266a<\/div>\n

By the way, other than the pole of the hammer, no additional parts are required to be added in the transformation process! They are all included within the Rensouhou-chan figures!<\/p>\n

The figma stands approximately 190mm in height with her ribbon included, and 150mm without the ribbon. For comparison, figma Shimakaze is about 130mm in height so this Alloy Shimakaze is slightly larger!<\/p>\n

The torpedo launcher\u00a0she normally has on her back transforms into this\u00a0impressive metal gauntlet! \uff3c\uff3c\\\u2514(‘\u03c9’)\u2518\/\/\uff0f\uff0f<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s take a look at her in her transformed form first!<\/p>\n

– TRANSFORMED FORM –\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Even though the figure has over 70 points of articulation, they don’t stand out at all! The figure itself looks lovely and smooth even in lovely action poses!!<\/p>\n

For example, lifting her Rensouhou-chan hammer up in the air to intimidate the enemy!\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The armor at her shins is made from diecast alloy giving it a really heavy, more realistic texture and weight!! Take a look at the page below to see which areas of the figure make use of this diecast material!<\/p>\n

You can even pose her jumping up through the air!\u00a0\u266a<\/p>\n

While still in development, the figure will also come with a specially designed stand that will allow for jumping and other aerial poses like this one! You can see some pictures of the stand over on the special website above as well!

If you take a look from the back you’ll notice that even the two\u00a0sides of her hair are fitted with a joint allowing you to match the hair with your poses – for instance in the jumping pose above!\u00a0(\uff61\uff65\u03c9\uff65)\uff89\uff9e<\/p>\n

\n\u25b3 \u00a0The Rensouhou-chan at her hips is in a rather amazing state!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She also comes with an alternate expression better suited to combat scenes! \u2606<\/p>\n

You can recreate all sorts of different situations!! (\u0e51\u2022\u0300\u3142\u2022\u0301)\u0648\u2727<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

But don’t forget you also have the choice to display her in her normal form with the Rensouhou-chans!!<\/p>\n

– NORMAL FORM –<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The natural form of Shimakaze! You can hardly tell the joints are there at all, and all the Rensouhou-chans look so cute when they are in their untransformed versions! \u2661<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>\u25b3 Her standard expression has such a calm look on it! \u266a<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You can pose them saluting the Admiral or other KanMusu!!<\/p>\n

With all the armor removed, she suddenly seems to have a much more ladylike body and soft-looking skin!!\u00a0(\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/p>\n

Plus she also comes with this optional part to hold…<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This alternate smiling expression shows just how much she enjoys it too! Apparently it does wonders for a KanMusu’s looks!!<\/p>\n
