Today I went to work wrapped up in a scarf due to the cold… I wish I could go to work wrapped up in my blankets from bed… (\u203a\u00b4\u03c9`\u2039 )<\/p>\n

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…<\/p>\n

Nendoroid Akitsushima
\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the seaplane carrier Akitsushima! She comes with three expressions including her standard expression, a half-damaged expression as well as a more comical upset expression with puffed out cheeks. The ship parts on her hips are fitted with various moving parts allowing the hip attachment part to slide along the edges as well as move the crane around – the crane can even be displayed stowed away when not in use!Her trademark seaplane ‘Taitei-chan’ is also included in a fairly impressive size as well as movable wings. It can also be set onto Akitsushima’s back for a slightly different appearance! As with most KanColle Nendoroids she also comes with some food parts as well – this time it is a Japanese-style breakfast set including miso soup and dried fish!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/b><\/i>Ooooohhh!! (\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Seaplane Carrier Akitsushima! Remember me along with Taitei-chan!!”<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Seaplane Carrier\u00a0Akitsushima is joining the Nendoroids as the\u00a021st Nendoroid from KanColle! You can find a list of all the Nendoroids and other KanColle products over on the KanColle product summary page here: http:\/\/www.goodsmile.info\/en\/kancolle<\/a>!<\/b><\/p>\n

Her lightly coloured hair with a long side-tail as well as her eyes that have a lovely translucent aura about then have been faithfully shrunk down to Nendoroid size! The large crane on her back as well as her ‘Taitei-chan’ seaplane are also included giving the figure some impressive volume while keeping all the important elements of her character in place!<\/p>\n

<\/b>Her side-tail is fitted with a Nendoroid joint in match any pose!!\u00a0<\/b>\u2606<\/strong><\/p>\n

You’ll also notice that the camouflage pattern on her crane is faithfully included, and the center of the earrings are made with a transparent material to give a shiny, crystal appearance!\u00a0\u2661<\/p>\n

Originally they were planned to just be completely grey, but a certain admiral in the GSC fleet decided they needed a little more attention to detail!<\/strong><\/p>\n

As you can imagine, the change made for quite a different feeling that I know Akitsushima fans will appreciate! Another part that I love about Akitsushima’s design is the ribbon on the right side of her hair! The end of the ribbons have little anchors! \u2661<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>\u25b3 Even the ties of the ribbon to the anchors have been sculpted on!<\/div>\n
Anyway, let’s move onto her second expression part…<\/div>\n
“All fleets, prepare for battle!”<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Her second expression is made in the image of her half-damaged face! ( >\u03c9\u30fb)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This pose is Akitsushima taking a hit, but already preparing the counter attack! Taitei-chan is on the crane and ready to pick up the wind…

Attack effect parts are also included to bring out the feeling of battle even more! \u2605<\/p>\n

\u25b3\u00a0The effect parts simply connect into the holes of the turret!<\/div>\n

Also take note of her outfit!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The rather unique sleeve design that opens up around her armpits, along with the golden buttons on the front and dotted patterns on her sleeves have all been carefully sculpted and painted! (\u3002\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u30ce<\/p>\n

The slightly see-through\u00a0look of white section on her skirt is also preserved using translucent parts!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The little opening to show off her belly button actually has the cute little navel sculpted as well!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway, let’s move on to her third expression…<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

An expression made to show that she can get a little feisty when it comes to her ‘camouflage’ make-up!<\/p>\n

You can’t help but want to touch those puffed up cheeks!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25b3 The puffed out look is much more than most Nendoroids!<\/div>\n
As you can see from the above photos, the crane part can also be removed for a more everyday appearance of Akitsushima!<\/div>\n

On that note, the crane part is actually on a slide-able piece that allows you to move the crane around like so!\u00a0(\u25cf\u00b4\u03c9\uff40\u25cf)<\/p>\n

Once again the ship parts are connected with a Nendoroid joint which allows for all sorts of different poses, however this time it’s not just Akitsushima – you’ll notice another little place for a Nendoroid join on the other side of the ship parts…\uff01<\/p>\n

You can attach this hole to the Nendoroid joint on the bottom of Taitei-chan…<\/p>\n

Taitei-chan’s wings can also moved up and down slightly to give a more dynamic feel to the plane!<\/p>\n

The crane is also fitted with this kind of movement!<\/strong><\/p>\n

All the different moving parts give her an almost toy-like feeling, and I obviously don’t mean that in a bad way at all – she is just packed with so many ways to play around with!!\u00a0(\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/p>\n
