I don’t know how to dress up fancy. I don’t even know how to dress for Autumn. What kind of clothes are you supposed to wear in weather like this?! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at ORANGE ROUGE’s latest scale figure…<\/p>\n

The 1\/8th scale<\/span><\/p>\n

Kashu Kiyomitsu!<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a 1\/8th scale figure of Kashu Kiyomitsu. His well-known standing pose has been sculpted with his charming expression, elegant body and unique outfit all faithfully transformed into figure form.All the angles not seen in the original illustrations have also been carefully added onto the figure, allowing fans to enjoy Kashu from any angle they please. Be sure to give him the love and attention he has always wished for!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

“Kashu Kiyomitsu, heading in!”<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The first scale figure to be released under the ORANGE ROUGE name is none other than Touken Ranbu’s Kashu Kiyomitsu<\/b>!! His appearance from the game has been faithfully converted into figure form! \u266a<\/p>\n

The release photos came out so beautiful that I had to include some of them in the blog as well! These photos are taken by a professional cameraman with careful attention given to the backgrounds and lighting.<\/p>\n

Just look at the amount of detail captured on one single figure! Everything has been captured by sculptor Iwanaga Sakurako (Shokubutu Shojo-en) down to the most intricate of details!! (\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/p>\n

Let’s move on to my attempts to capture his beauty!!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The lighting is rather different which gives the colors a slightly different appearance, but this is how he looks under standard\u00a0fluorescent lights!\u00a0(\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/p>\n

Kashu’s outfit is a lovely mix of reds and blacks, and while it doesn’t know much skin it makes up for it with class! Even the air around him looks fancier thanks to his classy outfit!!<\/p>\n

This is how he looks from the back! (*\u00b4\u0414\uff40)=\u0437<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The long coat fluttering\u00a0behind him\u00a0gives a certain dynamic element to his pose that acts as a lovely accent to the entire figure. Even from the back and through the coat, you still get a nice idea of his\u00a0slim physique and fancy outfit.<\/p>\n

All the creases that you’d expect on a long coat have also been carefully included making it seem like it is actually made from fabric! Even though the reverse side of Kashu was never visible on the official illustrations, each and every detail has been carefully considered and sculpted to create a figure fans can be proud to own! \u266a<\/p>\n

There are so many details to look at that I don’t really know where to start, but I’m going to keep it to four main points!<\/p>\n

– Detailed Outfit –<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Overall the outfit has a very\u00a0chic color scheme, but also note the fancier details such as the flower patterns and golden sword emblem on his collar! The golden buttons and belt buckle provide lovely contrast take makes for such an eye catching outfit!<\/p>\n

The coat is amazing, but also take note his his shirt, vest and the red scarf around his neck! The figure makes him seem so much more real!! It’s like he is really right here beside me!\u00a0\u00a0 (\uff1b\u2200\uff1b)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The gauntlets make use of a lacquer paint giving them a glossy appearance and a different looking texture to the rest of the figure.\u00a0\u2661<\/p>\n

The scabbard, grip and guard of the sword his holds are also all very intricately detailed! Be sure to take a nice close look once he joins your collection!! \u3063(\u3002\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u30ce\u309b<\/p>\n

If we take a look a little bit lower, you can see that even the inside of his coat has been painted – and with a diamond pattern to boot!<\/p>\n

Then at the very bottom we’re met with these tight pants and high heels!!\u00a0\u30fd(\uff9f\u25c7\uff9f )\uff89<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The fact that the tip of his boots have a different texture also shows the attention to detail!<\/p>\n

– Expression –<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When I see Kashu’s expression there are three things that come to mind: belligerent, charming and mysterious!<\/strong>\u00a0The figure brings across all of these three things and it captures them all so perfectly!! I’m sure that all Kashu fans have a slightly different interpretation of his expression, but I don’t think any will be disappointed with how the figure has captured it!!<\/p>\n

The ever so slightly opened mouth also makes my imagination run wild!!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/b>I really wonder how many ways this expression can be interpreted! I really wish you could all see it with your own two eyes right now and tell me what you think!<\/p>\n

– Fingers –<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Kashu’s iconic crimson nails are carefully painted!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Unlike the smaller Nendoroid, the scale figure allows us to add even finer detail, and each of the fingers has been carefully painted and look absolutely amazing!\u00a0(\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/p>\n

Not to mention the thin – somewhat dainty – look of his fingers also looks great in figure form!<\/p>\n

Although the hands have painted nails, they also have a distinctly masculine feeling to them, and the directions and movements of each finger has clearly been so carefully through out during the sculptwork! It all comes together to look so beautiful! \u2661<\/p>\n

The wonders of figures! Now you can enjoy Kashu from any angle you please including from the back!\u00a0That’s right! I’ve returned to his back because I really love it! It came out so well!!\u00a0<\/strong>Just look at the flowing stands of his hair, the raised collar and the single section of hair\u00a0flowing down to his chest! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)\u309e<\/p>\n

If you take a look from this angle then you can just imagine that he has come to protect you – as you crouch down in fear… your savior has arrived!! \uff01(\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/strong><\/p>\n

I had so many thoughts come to mind while taking pictures of this figure! Each angle you look from tells a whole new story which makes taking photos so much fun!!<\/p>\n

That covers my\u00a0favourite\u00a0points about the figure, but there is still so many more details to enjoy!!\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
