Today is Tanabata<\/a>! Now that I think about it… last year at about this time I was just coming home to Japan after visiting\u00a0JAPAN EXPO in France<\/a>…!<\/p>\n

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at some of the entries in the<\/p>\n

4th Good Smile Cup!<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

What is the Good Smile Cup?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Good Smile cup is a contest between the GSC employees as well as related companies, to see who can create something filled with love and originality! \u2605<\/p>\n

The aim of the project is to simply create something you enjoy creating, and then to submit it for everyone to see! It’s not at all serious or anything, but a lot of fun and interesting entries can come up!<\/p>\n

However! Note that nothing shown here will be made into an actual product!!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Everything here was just made personally, and none of the items – no matter how well made – are currently being made into products!!<\/p>\n

Anyway, the Good Smile Cup is divided into five sections this time! \u266a<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1)\u00a0Kit Section – : Made or modified from a model kit.
\n2)\u00a0Built from Scratch: Figures made starting with nothing!
\n3) Other: Anything that fits nowhere else!
\n4) Kahotan’s Tasty NomNom: Photo Contest
\n5) wooser’s Not Tasty MonMon<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The wooser one is a little special… you need to transform the wooser included with Nendoroid Rin into something…. amazing! Take a look at some of the ideas over at the Good Smile Lab!<\/p>\n

At the moment the winning item is still being voted for by staff, but I will announce the winners at a later date! I’m really not sure which will win in this section! \u2605<\/p>\n

I will be taking a look at the photo contest entries on the blog at a later stage! \u2665\ufe0e<\/p>\n
