We’re already in the last week of April!!\u00a0There is no way to escape the coming of May!! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a closer look at the figure we took a special look at on last week’s live broadcast…<\/p>\n

Nendoroid Kashuu Kiyomitsu!<\/span><\/b>\u2606<\/span><\/p>\n

From the popular PC browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the sword that is difficult to handle but stands above the rest, Kashuu Kiyomitsu! He comes with three expressions including his charming standard face, a fearless combat expression as well as a yawning expression based on his lines from the game.<\/span><\/p>\n

His sword is included and can be displayed both sheathed and drawn, and he also comes with the item that remedies fatigue in the game, an ‘Enchanted Dango’. Be sure to add him to your collection!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Oooooohhhhh!!! (\u25cf\u00b4\u03c9\uff40\u25cf)<\/span><\/p>\n

The sword used by Okita Souji in the Shinsengumi and <\/span>\u00a0one of the five characters that can be selected as your first character in the tutorial for Touken Ranbu – Kashuu Kiyomitsu is now joining the Nendoroids!\u00a0\u2661<\/p>\n

The red and black contrast of his outfit, the ever so slight smile and mole on his cheek… and those refreshing eyes!<\/p>\n

How can you not love him?!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

You can look at him from any angle and he will always score top points! \u2661<\/p>\n

This is how he looks from the back! \u266a<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The fluttering of his jacket is perfect…!<\/span><\/p>\n

The reverse side of him never appears in the game, but we worked with the publisher to get exactly how he should look from the back! If you look closely you’ll even notice\u00a0his shoes have little Nendoroid-sized heels!\u00a0<\/strong>\u3063(\uff61\uff65\u03c9\uff65)\uff89\uff9e<\/b><\/p>\n

The hemming of his jacket as well as his earrings make use of a lovely golden paint, and the emblems on the collar have been faithfully added onto the Nendoroid design! If you look close you’ll also notice the crimson inner lining of the jacket as well!\u00a0(\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)\u309e<\/p>\n

His mouth is so very unique too! It’s so cute!<\/span><\/p>\n

Let’s take a closer look at what expressions are included with Kashuu! \u266b<\/p>\n

First up is his confident smiling ‘standard expression’!\u30fd(\uff4f\u00b4\u2200\uff40\uff4f)\uff89<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The way his mouth looks as well as the mole make for such an original Nendoroid expression! His hair also features a slight gradient to give it a more flowing, smooth appearance! \u2661<\/p>\n

As you may have noticed, he actually comes with two different ponytail parts – one to rest over his shoulder in front of him, and another that is blowing about in the wind behind him! They also have Nendoroid joints at the attachment point allowing you to create different nuances with the hair!\u00a0(\u03c3\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)\u03c3<\/p>\n

One other thing I’d like to point out, is that the eyes have highlights in them. The original illustration actually never had highlights, but in order to keep the ‘cute’ side of the Nendoroid design, we decided to work with the publisher and have them added in for the Nendoroid version!\u00a0\u03c6(\uff0e\uff0e )<\/p>\n

Anyway, next up we have…<\/strong><\/p>\n

A combat expression that captures Kashuu’s calm and collected demeanour<\/span>!<\/span><\/p>\n

But more importantly… he looks so epic holding his sword like this!!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

He comes with bent leg parts for both legs, which make him look like he is putting lots of energy behind his thrust!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

However! Now take another look at his eyes…!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The highlight has been removed!! (\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

As I mentioned, we added in the highlight to bring out the cuter side of the Nendoroid design… but when it comes to combat expressions the cuteness factor could be removed a little, so we kept this expression faithful to the original, no highlight design!<\/p>\n

By the way, just like Mikazuki, he comes with his sword in both its sheathed and unsheathed forms, allowing for various different options! You can even pose him as if he has just pulled the sword from its scabbard!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Simply pick the pose that you think suits him best! \u266a<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Another thing to note is the detailed sculpting on the guard of his sword!<\/p>\n

It’s so tiny, yet you can tell a lot of intricate work went into it! (\uff1b \u30fb`\u0434\u30fb\u00b4)<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The Nendoroid as a whole is without a doubt a treat for the eyes, but looking at smaller details like this is what really makes them so very special!<\/p>\n

However… if we\u00a0look at Nendoroid Kashuu’s fingernail color…<\/b><\/p>\n

In the game, Kashuu Kiyomitsu’s fingernails are actually a crimson color, however due to issues this would cause in manufacturing, we’ve unfortunately had to omit this from the Nendoroid…<\/p>\n

I’m sure that many player’s of the game might be a little disappointed with this decision, but remember that Nendoroids are 10cm high figures. The hand parts are hardly a centimetre in length… to mass produce a product with each of the fingernails individually neatly painted would be incredibly difficult…!<\/p>\n

However! Worry not!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

For those who wish to have their Nendoroid Kashuu Kiyomitsu with crimson finger nails, I will be writing a nail painting how-to blog<\/strong><\/span> after Nendoroid Kashuu has been released! It will cover the best and easiest ways to color his nails – in such a way that even someone as clumsy as myself can do it!<\/p>\n

Anyway, let’s move onto his optional parts!<\/p>\n

Kashuu comes with ‘Enchanted Dango’!\u00a0\u2661\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is an item in the game that recovers characters from being fatigued!<\/p>\n

You can also grab your own dango and pretend you’re eating together with him!!\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Just like the ‘uchiko’ that was included with Nendoroid Mikazuki Munechika, the optional parts help bring out the atmosphere of the game!<\/p>\n

Finally, let’s move into the final expression…\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Along with the optional parts he also comes with bent arms, bent legs and alternate hand parts for all sorts of different poses and options! ♥\ufe0e<\/p>\n
