My favorite of favorite foods might just be takoyaki! Best when they are soft and fluffy! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…<\/p>\n

Nendoroid Ryujo!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the light aircraft carrier, Ryujo! She comes complete with both a standard aeroplane and ‘shikigami’ paper planes to fly beside her.<\/p>\n

The divination scroll in the image of a flight deck as well as a pouch to hang from her shoulder are both included. Her favorite food, takoyaki, are also included for her to enjoy! \u266a Alternate parts to recreate her half-damaged appearance are also included!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Oooooooooohhh!! <\/span>(\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/span><\/p>\n

From the popular browser game Kantai Collection comes a Nendoroid of the light cruiser, Ryujo<\/strong>!<\/span><\/p>\n

Everything about her design down to the scroll in the image of a flick deck have been faithfully converted into chibi Nendoroid size! The\u00a0outfit is a nice blend between Japanese and Western styles!<\/p>\n

The mini AA-guns around her hips look so detailed!! (\u03c3\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)\u03c3<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

She is wearing thick-soled shoes giving her a longer\u00a0appearance… not that her petite build isn’t adorable! It makes me want to pet her on the head as she is so cute!! The twin-tails are fitted with Nendoroid joints allowing you to easily match them up with any poses! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)\u309e<\/p>\n

Anyway, as I’m sure many have noticed, the first photo featured an\u00a0aeroplane!<\/p>\n

<\/strong>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Ryujo comes with quite a few types of aeroplanes!”<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We’re joined by the planner for Nendoroid Ryujo, Kyojin<\/strong><\/span>!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “We wanted to allow fans to recreate the effect of Ryujo ‘summoning’ the planes from paper planes, so we included various points of the transformation!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Aircraft!\u00a0Head out, head out!!”<\/p>\n

The divining fire summons the aircraft !!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Four plane parts\u00a0are included – a paper plane, mid-transformed plane, Mitsubishi A5M and Nakajima B5N!”

It’s really like they are slowing changing as they move along! \u266a<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Each plane also comes with it’s own little stand, allowing for quick and easy placement wherever you like!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway, up until now we’ve had a rather serious Ryujo in combat mode… what other expressions does she have?<\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “First up we have this smiling expression!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ooooooooohhhh!! (\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/span><\/p>\n

Definitely a much more gentle expression compared to the previous one!<\/p>\n

But wait! The scroll!! I know this pose!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “You can easily place the scroll in the position of Ryujo Kai Ni as both a long and short version are included!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The long version reaches about 13.5cm in length including the bottom section!<\/span><\/p>\n

But hold on a second… the previous pose had the scroll kind of bend around… is it made from a soft material, or…? \uff08\uff1f\u25b3\uff1f\uff09<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The top and bottom sections are made from a hard material to allow the stand to connect easily, but the actual ‘scroll’ part is planned to be made from a durable kind of paper meaning it won’t get in the way of any poses!”<\/span><\/p>\n

I see, I see! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)<\/p>\n

That means that you can create all sorts of bendy poses with the scroll as well!\u00a0<\/strong>By the way, the shorter scroll will be completely made from the harder material. The soft paper is only used on the longer version!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)\u00a0<\/span><\/span>“Other parts that work well with the smile… are these!”<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

S-She comes with these?!<\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Yep! It was a tough choice deciding on what fun parts to give her, but we eventually decided on the takoyaki<\/strong>, the same as was found on the GAMERS special poster of Ryujo”\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The see-though packaging and even the stick to eat them with! Such wonderful detail! \u2661<\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Another thing that was on this poster was the pouch for holding her scroll<\/strong>! It’s also included!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ooooooooh! (*\u00b4\u0414\uff40)=\u0437<\/span><\/p>\n

The strap part is even made from actual fabric for unobstructed posing! Yay!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “These parts allow for more everyday life scenes – a rather different feel to the combat look!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Finally! What is her third expression? <\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “A Half-damaged expression!!!”\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just look at those downward facing eyebrows!! She looks so defeated!!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “This time we decided it was time to include a half-damaged<\/strong>\u00a0body<\/strong> once again! The skirt is all ripped up and jewel from her neck is hanging down… not to mention her shirt being ripped open showing her stomach!”\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I personally love that her little belly button is showing! \u2661<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even the reverse side has a damaged look to it!<\/p>\n

Even the torn right shoulder has been faithfully added to the \u00a0damaged body!<\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “It was quite a tough Nendoroid to work on, but I think we packed her fill with Ryujo love! I’m sure fans will enjoy adding her to their collections!”<\/span><\/p>\n
