Today I’m going to be taking a closer look at the figure I introduced yesterday…<\/p>\n

The 1\/7th Scale…<\/span><\/p>\n

Utaha Kasumigaoka!<\/span><\/b>♥\ufe0e<\/span><\/p>\n

From the anime series ‘Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend’ comes a 1\/7th scale figure of the top student and up-and-coming novelist Utaha Kasumigaoka-senpai!<\/span><\/span>The figure is based on an illustration by Kurehito Misaki, the original character designer of the series – it features Utaha right the middle of getting dressed, and has been sculpted and painted with great care to ensure it captures the charm of Utaha-senpai from the original illustration. Obviously all the areas that were never visible on the illustration have been carefully considered and added on to the figure, allowing fans to enjoy the lovely pose from any angle they please!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/b>Hyafuuuuuuuuuu!!!! <\/b>(\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday I took a quick sneak peek at some of the highlights of the figure, so be sure to take a look at that blog as well!

But let’s get on with today’s review, starting from the back!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The figure is posed \u00a0leaning over making her stand slightly shorter than most 1\/7th scale figures! Her long, flowing hair looks so very soft, and the way her skirt is being lifted up is fantastic!<\/span><\/p>\n

The reverse side of the figure is filled with so many highlights that you never get to see from the front!<\/b><\/p>\n

Taking a look from the side also shows off a fair amount of skin! Just look at the curves around the belly button!<\/span><\/p>\n

The intricate creases and folds of the blouse are so realistic!<\/span><\/p>\n

It really makes me feel like I’m taking peeping photos!\u00a0(\u00b0\u0414\u00b0\uff1b\u2261\u00b0\u0414\u00b0\uff1b)<\/b><\/p>\n

Another piece of detail that I really loved is the fastener’s on the outfit! The left and right sides have been properly thought out for the sculpt!<\/p>\n

You wouldn’t be able to see parts like that if the clothes were fully worn…\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But that’s exactly why a dressing scene like this exists, isn’t it?!\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

The ribbon and it’s fasteners, the collar and her boldly opened out blouse… everything about the sculpt and pose just begs you to stare in awe!<\/span><\/p>\n

When it comes down to it, it’s a rather simple school uniform, but that exact second of the start of getting dressed has been frozen in time for fans to enjoy forever! That’s what makes her so special!\u00a0<\/span>(*\u00b4\u0414\uff40)♥<\/p>\n

The 1\/7th scale also allows for a little more detail to be added into the figure!\u00a0The figure’s planner, Kyojin, had this\u00a0highlight to point out!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Toe Area of the Stockings!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

You can clearly make out where the toes begin thanks to the sculpt!<\/span><\/p>\n

Let’s check on the sculptor’s\u00a0highlights!<\/span><\/p>\n

The sculptor of this figure is none other than Good Smile’s Manabu Katou! His highlights of the sculpt were…<\/p>\n

The fluttering\u00a0feeling of the uniform!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The blouse and blazer are so meticulously sculpted which gives off a really realistic look to the outfit! It really looks like gravity is pulling on it, and the various parts are fluttering loosely. All the areas that were never visible on the original illustration are also carefully thought out and sculpted on in a wonderful way!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Apparently the most difficult thing to work on was the creases and fluttering effect of the uniform! I said it was a rather simple outfit, but that my no means makes it easy to sculpt – the amount of detail is still incredible! (\u25cf\u00b4\u03c9\uff40\u25cf)<\/p>\n

See-though Stockings<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

The calves, back of her knees and bottom are all covered up by ever so slightly transparent stockings! The tight pull of the stockings on the skin is nicely noticeable as well! You need to really see this for yourself when she joins your collection!<\/p>\n

Utaha-senpai’s black\u00a0stockings\u00a0are\u00a0definitely\u00a0one of her charm points! ♥\ufe0e<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The fact that she is lifting her skirt up means that even more of the stockings are visible than most figures with stockings! (\u03c3\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)\u03c3<\/span><\/p>\n

Even the\u00a0run guard in the stocking is visible on the figure!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Then as if that amount of detail wasn’t enough, they are even slightly translucent allowing\u00a0you\u00a0to see the soft skin behind them as well! \u266a<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
