Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan<\/a><\/span>)<\/span> Today I’m going to be taking a look at the latest item to roll out from the GSC Naval Base!

\nShigure Kai Ni!\u00a0\u2661\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

From the hugely popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a 1\/8th scale figure of the 2nd Shiratsuyu Class Destroyer, Shigure Kai Ni! The pose is based on the illustration used on Shigure’s card in Bushiroad’s card game, ‘Wei\u03b2 Schwarz’ – it features different ship parts to those seen in game with a confident and powerful looking pose that fans are sure to enjoy!<\/p>\n

Additionally, Shigure Ni Kai comes with alternate parts that allow you to display her more true to the games illustration, with the larger ship parts attached to her back and smaller turrets on her arms – a rather large variation for a scale figure. The smaller turrets on the side of the larger parts that connect to her hands, as well as the torpedo launchers on her legs are all articulated, allowing you to place them at the angle that you think suits her best!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Oooooooooooohhhh!! <\/span>(\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/span><\/p>\n

Her skirt and hair accessory almost actually seem to be moving in this dynamic pose! A figure that shows Shigure is ready for battle! The pose comes from a card in Bushiroad’s trading card game, ‘Wei\u03b2 Schwarz’! The illustration by Ichiso Kujou has been very carefully transformed into a figure while keeping as much of the original charm as faithfully as possible! \u266a<\/p>\n

The characteristic hair sticking out at the sides seen on the\u00a0‘Kai Ni’ version is also sculpted beautifully!\u00a0(\u25cf\u00b4\u03c9\uff40\u25cf)\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The original illustration only ever showed the front of Shigure, so the back of the figure\u00a0thought up and sculpted without any specific source to work with!<\/span><\/p>\n

This is quite a common occurrence with KanColle figures!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The original illustration is very carefully taken into consideration while the back is designed. The final design is of course checked with the publisher to ensure that nothing is out of place! The good thing is that there are lots of mecha fans at GSC, which makes coming up with how these ship parts are attached an easy task… plus they look great!<\/p>\n

Moving on, let’s take a closer look at her ship parts! <\u25cb><\u25cb><\/strong><\/p>\n

The huge short-barrelled cannons normally seen on her back are held out ready to fire…!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All of the details on the ship parts give a nice\u00a0mechanical appearance, and the various layers give a nice 3D appearance to the design! \u266a<\/p>\n

\u25b3 Nope, you can’t see them!<\/div>\n

The contrast between the mechanical design and the soft white skin of her thighs is just as amazing as ever! \u30fd(*\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u4eba(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb*)\u30ce<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

By the way, even the reverse side of the torpedo launchers on her legs have been faithfully sculpted into the design! \u00a0\u2605<\/p>\n

But while everything I’ve shown looks great and is overflowing with a lovely dynamic feel… without a doubt the best thing about this figure to me… is that facial expression!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You can just feel her confidence and powerful will through those eyes!!<\/span><\/div>\n

Tomboyish characters like Shigure are generally known for their bright, energetic side… but Shigure actually has a more reserved personality than most expect! She has a very cool and calm personality! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)<\/p>\n

Just look into her eyes right now… they are clearly focused and attentive…but with a slight hint of nervousness as she aims her weapons! I really feel like I’m right in the battle beside her when I look at this face, it captures the battlefield all with one expression!<\/strong><\/p>\n

But there are also various other areas that shouldn’t be missed out on… for example the slight peek at the nape of her neck by her single braid, or the uniform-like outfit that shows off Shigure’s amazing curves… or those long legs extending out from the skirt wavering in the wind….<\/p>\n

There are so many different details to enjoy!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Be sure to add her to your own collection and enjoy her from all sorts of different angles!<\/span><\/p>\n
