I’m very jealous of people who own lots of dolls with all sorts of outfits to dress them up in… I could sit and play for hours when there are different shoes and dresses to try on…<\/p>\n

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at GSC’s newest series!<\/p>\n

Nendoroid Co-de!\u00a0\u266a\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

What is Nendoroid Co-de?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nendoroid Co-de is a new addition to the Nendoroid series based on the theme of dressing-up characters! The figures have fixed poses\u00a0and each come with four parts – the head, upper garment, lower garment and shoes. Each of these parts can be swapped between characters allowing for all sorts of possibilities. The more you collect, the more dress-up options become available to you!<\/p>\n

The name ‘Co-de’ comes from the Japanese pronunciation of the word ‘coordinate’, as in clothes coordination.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

In other words…!<\/p>\n

They are simple Nendoroids\u00a0great for new collectors, with the ability to dress-up in various ways!\u00a0(\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/span><\/p>\n

The very first in the series is going to be…<\/p>\n

The sparkling Cyalume Co-de that fans of the anime will know well from her live performances! \u2606<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The treble clef on her ribbon and the musical score down the outfit give her a very convincing idol appearance! The design of her knee high socks are also so adorable!! This is the kind of clothes that show what it means to be an idol!\u00a0\u266a\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The large ribbon on the back is also faithfully included!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The striped skirt also makes her look a little more mature for her age! (\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/span><\/p>\n

However… the Nendoroid Co-de series isn’t about just one outfit! It’s about changing them!<\/span><\/p>\n

Which obviously means there is more than one outfit available!<\/p>\n

The very first Co-de that Laala used when she\u00a0visited\u00a0the Pripara world in the anime series!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/b>\u266a<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The winking expression also gives her extra cute points! This outfit is filled with frills and ribbons for a very girlie appearance! (*\uff9f\uff70\uff9f*)<\/span><\/p>\n

Even the back features a ribbon at the top!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The soft pink colors also suit her so nicely!! (\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anyway, before we move on, let’s take a look at what exactly makes up the\u00a0Nendoroid Co-de<\/strong>\u00a0series!<\/p>\n

1) Four Simple Parts<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Each figure is divided into just four parts:\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u30fb Head
\n\u30fb Upper Garment
\n\u30fb Lower Garment (Skirt, etc)
\n\u30fb Shoes (Including Legs)<\/p>\n

\u25b3 Unlike normal Nendoroids, the arms and legs are fixed in place.<\/span><\/div>\n

As the poses are locked in place, you don’t have quite as much freedom as with normal Nendoroids, but that also means that beginners to the figure scene will instantly have a great pose without too much effort!\u00a0As a side note, the hips and upper body can be twisted around allowing for slightly different nuances in the pose! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)<\/span><\/p>\n

2) Co-de Compatibility<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Each of the four parts found on any Nendoroid Co-de figure is compatible with any other Nendoroid Co-de! Swapping parts is incredibly simple, but with enough figures there will be all sorts of different options to enjoy! \u00a0\u2606<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u25b3 Swapping upper garment parts!<\/div>\n

Swapping the upper garment also means the pose of the character will change to that outfits pose, creating a fresh image for the character as well! They might not be fully articulated, but you still have all sorts of options to try and find the cutest poses for characters! \u266a<\/span><\/p>\n

Another side note – the neck joint is exactly the same as a normal Nendoroid! <\/b>This means you can also change the angle of her neck to alter the pose slightly!<\/span><\/p>\n

3) Fun to Collect<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
