Today I’m going to be taking a look at…<\/p>\n

Ranko Kanzaki: Anniversary Princess Ver. ~Mad Banquet~!\u2665\ufe0e<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The popular IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls social game has reached its third anniversary and also has an anime series coming in January 2015. From that game comes a 1\/8th scale figure of Ranko Kanzaki wearing her ‘Anniversary Princess’ outfit from the game’s 2nd anniversary.<\/p>\n

The figure captures the enjoyment Ranko feels while on the live stage with a beautiful smile and dynamic pose. Her outfit has also been sculpted in great detail, down to the intricate roses that adorn various parts of it. Her rather unique mike stand has also been faithfully included. The Mad Banquet version also includes a much larger base in the image of an altar! Be sure to add this brazen Ranko to your collection!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

<\/b><\/b><\/b><\/b><\/b><\/b>Ooooooooohhhhh!!! (\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The beautiful Ranko Kanzaki has been sculpted into a very bold and detailed figure by Phat! Company!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It is an item that is filled with love from its planner, Takamatsu-shi (@Phat_stuff<\/span><\/a>)! Apparently he wrote up the draft for the figure’s design almost the same day as the illustration was revealed!\u00a0That’s what I call dedication!\u00a0\u2661<\/p>\n

The figure as a whole creates an amazing atmosphere, but the details of each of the smaller\u00a0parts of the figure are is where she really shines! \u00a0<\/b><\/span>\u2606<\/p>\n

Just look at the sculpting on those roses!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Each and every petal on the roses has clearly been attentively worked on to create an amazing appearance! It adds a lovely sense of reality to the outfit\u00a0<\/span>
\n(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Don’t forget about the feathery part behind her skirt!”<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

We’re joined by the figure’s planner, Takamatsu-shi (<\/b><\/span>Phat)<\/b>!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The\u00a0feathers\u00a0on the back of her skirt have been made translucent, making the stylish skirt have a slightly lighter\u00a0appearance!”\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I can just picture her on stage with the lights flashing about! The translucent, shiny look definitely helps out with that image! (\u03c3\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)\u03c3<\/p>\n

\u00a0(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The large effect behind her wasn’t\u00a0completely drawn in the original\u00a0illustration, so part of it was made though out own original interpretation!”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The effect is unbelievably large! Much larger than you’d normally expect on a scale figure! It must have been quite the challenge to include!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “It was… but this was a product that we really wanted to put everything we had into!\u00a0We couldn’t completely\u00a0bring out Ranko’s charm if we didn’t\u00a0pull out all the stops!<\/strong> I wanted to do everything I could to make her special – not only as the planner, but as a fellow producer too!”<\/span><\/p>\n

It shows too! I can see that love was poured into this figure!<\/strong><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Ranko’s goth-loli fashion is in full force here! The outfit is filled with frills, ribbons and roses darted all over!”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her long stockings covered with rose prints are also delicious! The gather of her outfit around her breast area also really brings out the texture of the fabric really nicely! \u266a<\/p>\n

The frills of her sleeves are also so very thin! So thin and yet they still look so soft and frilly! (((\u309c\u0434\u309c;)))<\/p>\n

Even though my mind knows that they are made from a hard material, my eyes can only interpret those frills as fluttering in the wind as a soft fabric! I could spend all day looking at each of these littler frills individually and being impressed with each one!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But moving away from the lovely soft looking outfit, the sharp and solid looking fence around her back gives some nice contrast! \u266a<\/p>\n

Compare the sharp fence to the soft looking thighs behind them!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

But… what is that mound at the bottom of the mike stand…?!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “You might not be able to see it from the front, but the mike stand is nicely supported by a pile of beautiful purple roses!”<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Even though it’s normally hidden from sight… so much extra effort has gone into it!! (*\u00b4\u0414\uff40)=\u0437<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The mike stand is far too epic\u00a0to just end without being rested on something equally awesome!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Every little part has had so much careful thought put into it! She is fun to look at from any angle!!\u00a0<\/span>(\u25cf\u00b4\u03c9\uff40\u25cf)\u309e<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Exactly!! You can remove the fence around her for a closer look if you prefer!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ooh! The feathers look amazing from this angle!!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The large ribbon on the back also has a lovely pink rose on the knot! \u3063(\uff61\uff65\u03c9\uff65)\uff89\uff9e<\/p>\n

<\/b>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “This area was also never seen on the original illustration, but as there were so many roses on the front we decided she needed at least one on the back too!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A great decision! d(\u25cf\u00b4\u03c9\uff40\u25cf)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The outfit makes use of a rather dark palette, which makes the rose stand out all the more beautifully! Such a lovely combination of colors! \u2661<\/p>\n

Another thing to take note of is just how large Ranko is compared to other 1\/8th scale figures!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I decided to measure the diameter of her stand… it comes to 21cm!<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “By the way! The other figure in this photo, Mika Jougasaki: Charisma Girl Ver.<\/a>, will be shipping out next month in December!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Mika herself packs quite a large volume, but even she is slightly smaller when compared to Ranko!! \u00a0<\u25cb><\u25cb><\/p>\n

Anyway, I’ve taken a look at Ranko from all sorts of angles now… but now I want to focus on the areas I like the best!<\/p>\n

This is my\u00a0favourite\u00a0angle!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A good look at her lovely armpits and all the creases along her\u00a0outfit!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

But that’s not all by any means… there is just so much to look at at once!! My eyes don’t know where to look first!!<\/p>\n

Be sure to take a long, hard\u00a0look when she arrives in your collection! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/span><\/p>\n
