When I was in primary school, I spent a very short time as a resident of Sendai<\/a>! Today’s figure reminded me of the large decorations used there for Tanabata!<\/p>\n

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a product that went up today…<\/p>\n

The hair accessory on top of her head and red ribbons on her arms are made in the image of the Miyagi Prefecture emblem!\u00a0The hemming frills on her skirt and long streamers in her hair based on the Sendai Tanabata festival decorations have all been very beautifully shrunk down into Nendoroid size!\u00a0Her colorful polka-dot skirt is based on Date Masamune’s jinbaori! \u266a<\/p>\n

It’s a very cute magical girl outfit even though it is filled with references to the actual Miyagi Prefecture! Nyaruko-chan’s weapon is a mace based on a ‘Kokeshi’ Japanese doll too!<\/p>\n

She might be a Magical Girl, but she fights by swinging this around all over! (\u00b4\u2200\uff40)The mace is called ‘Tanikaze’, and her ultimate attack is to attack in full swing causing a huge amount of wind pressure to defeat her enemies!<\/p>\n

As she is a magical girl, she also has a familiar!
\nNaruko’s familiar is Takesuzume! (\u3002\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u30ce<\/strong><\/p>\n

I can hear his encouraging voice just by looking at these photos! The photo also shows the lovely smiling face as her second expression! \u266a<\/p>\n

There were so many things I wanted to explain, but the movements are hard to explain without the image!! The circled areas in the photo are Nendoroid joints allowing the hair accessories to be moved in various directions, and then half way down is another joint that allows the streamer parts to be posed closer or further apart for even more options!<\/p>\n

In most cases the accessories really stand out and perhaps even take away a bit from Naruko herself… but by changing the angle and position of them you can make a lot less noticeable if you wish! \u2605<\/p>\n

However you can also pose them in even more dynamic poses… something that matches this chibi expression<\/strong> perfectly!\u00a0\u266a<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The comical effect of this expression is simply lovely! I can’t help but crack a little smile! The cute little Magatsuhi is also included!! I wish I could keep it as a pet instead of defeating it!<\/p>\n

By the way, it’s a little bit hard to tell from photos, but Naruko’s face is actually sculpted to be making the “\u03b5” face! The expressions were just as important as the outfit on this Nendoroid! \u03b5=(\uff61\u30fb\u0434\u30fb\uff61)<\/p>\n
