While I was in university my main form of transport was by reliable red folding bicycle. It was just a little 16 inch bike but it served me well!<\/p>\n

Anyway, today I’m going to be writing a little report about the theme caf\u00e9 currently taking place at the Good Smile x animate Caf\u00e9<\/span><\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’re greeted by huge tapestries of the Sohoku members!!<\/p>\n

I’m getting excited and we’re not even in the caf\u00e9 yet!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve come to the caf\u00e9 today with the newest member in the planning team, Horikoshi-neesama, as well as one of this year’s new graduates Suwabe! (@gsc_suwabe<\/a>) \u266a<\/p>\n

On the same floor as the caf\u00e9 is the ACOS<\/a> store area, which is filled with Yowamushi Pedal goodies!<\/p>\n

A Yowamushi Pedal signboard drawn completely by hand by one of the staff members! We were quickly taken to our seat, and had a look through the giant menu!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The order system makes use of an order sheet – simply write down how many of each item you want and hand it to the staff!<\/p>\n

What should I order?!<\/span><\/p>\n

There are too many things I want to try! I can’t decide!

Each order of food comes with one of four different clear bookmarks, and each drink order comes with one of eight different coasters! (All selected at random.)<\/p>\n

We each placed our orders, and decided to take a look around the caf\u00e9 while waiting for our meals!<\/p>\n

The walls are filled with tapestries and framed images of famous scenes from the anime!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Various goodies were also on display including figma Sakamichi Onoda<\/a>!!<\/p>\n

Next to the stage was a customer message book!<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

It was filled with love for Yowamushi Pedal! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)<\/strong>
\nThe screen on the stage showed trailers for the anime, while the caf\u00e9’s music was of course character songs from the series! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Also on stage were life-size cutouts of Midousuji-kun and the Sohoku members! The Hakone members were also in the caf\u00e9!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The table we were seated at was right in the middle of the Hakone members tapestries! (=\uff9f\u03c9\uff9f)\uff89<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Hakone uniforms from ACOS were also on display, and lovely to see! \u266a<\/p>\n

But anyway, after looking around a bit, our meals arrived!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

First up are the drinks! \u266a<\/p>\n

The bonus coasters we got were Midousuji-kun and a ‘Toudou & Manami’ coaster!<\/p>\n

The coasters are selected at random by staff and handed over upside-down, so you’ll have the fun of guessing who you got before turning it over!<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Next up is all the food we decided to order!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Oooh!!! I’m glad I’m rather hungry!! (\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/span><\/p>\n

The random bookmarks are inside the animate caf\u00e9 envelopes you can see in the photos!<\/p>\n

We opened all three together!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Not one duplicate!! \u30fe(\uff61\uff40\u30fb\u0414\u30fb\u00b4\uff61)\uff89<\/span><\/p>\n

For once my luck was quite good! But now it’s time to eat! I’m starving! <\/p>\n

Overall Food Rating: Super Delicious! \u2661<\/strong><\/div>\n

While we were munching on the delicious food, we all discussed our favorite characters looking through the menu once more! Theme caf\u00e9s are really good for that kind of thing! \u266a<\/p>\n

We were about to order some desert as well, when all of a sudden a staff member got up on stage…! <\/p>\n

They were running a little mini-game to win some extra goodies! They asked a question and whoever it applied to was to put of their hands – the winners would get coasters from the Nagoya store for all members of their table! \u2605 (\uff1b \uff65`\u03c9\uff65\u00b4)<\/p>\n

The question was “Who decided to buy a road bike after watching\/reading Yowamushi Pedal?”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Quite a few people put of their hands too! But anyway, let’s get back to ordering dessert!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We were able to get hold of the last clear bookmark with our dessert orders too! We got the whole set in just one visit!<\/strong><\/p>\n

First up we had this swiss roll with a berry sauce, some delicious tart and Blue Hawaiian ice-cream! <\/p>\n

The berry sauce was absolutely delicious!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Next up we tried the pancakes!<\/strong>
\nThey had such a cute illustration on… it made it hard to eat!<\/p>\n

Horikoshi-neesama and I decided they were just too cute to eat, but…<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/span> <\/span>\\ *chomp* \/ <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>Suwabe was still quick to take a bite!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>She said it was soft, fluffy and delicious! With a huge smile to boot! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>Seen we missed out on the pancake, Horikoshi-neesama and I decided to order some hot drinks to finish off the day!\u2606<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

<\/strong>The Sohoku badge is a Cocoa Latte, and the Hakone badge is a Cappuccino Latte!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>They both had a very gentle taste that made me feel all happy inside!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We’re definitely starting to head into the season where warm drinks become all the more delicious! \u03b5=(\uff61\u30fb\u0434\u30fb\uff61)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Of course that also meant we got two more coasters as well! \u2665<\/p>\n

Arakita-senpai is my favorite character from Hakone Academy, so I was happy with my luck once again! I did a little dance when I saw it was him!<\/p>\n
