I feel like sushi today! The reason for that is that today is Mikudayo’s birthday! Everyone knows that Mikudayo loves sushi! However, all I have is a tuna mayo onigiri, so I will munch on that instead while thinking of sushi and Mikudayo!<\/p>\n

Anyway, today I’ll be taking a closer look at…<\/p>\n

From the Hatsune Miku song that featured in a Google Chrome commercial, ‘Tell Your World’, comes a scale figure of Hatsune Miku based on the song’s album jacket illustration. <\/span> <\/p>\n

The colorful design of Miku made in collaboration between Fantasista Utamaro and mebae has been carefully transformed into a figure, keeping all the finest of details and feminine air of Miku as faithfully as possible.<\/p>\n

mebae’s delicate illustration transformed into a meticulous figure that captures the heart of the illustration perfectly!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Sculpted by Iwanaga Sakurako (Shokubutu Shojo-en), the same amazing sculptor behind works of art such as Deep Sea Girl<\/a>, Aircraft Carrier Wo-Class<\/a> and even the upcoming Satsuki Kiryuin<\/a>! <\/strong><\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

This Miku looks so very gentle and ladylike, with beautiful slender legs, a dynamically sculpted skirt and hair and a hint of mystery! Taking a closer look at all the smaller elements of her design will make you realise just how incredible the sculptwork is! (*\u00b4\u0414`)<\/span><\/p>\n

She is frozen in time at the perfect second her skirt is fluttering up around her!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/strong>It’s hard to believe the skirt is made from plastic! (\uff1b \uff65`\u03c9\uff65\u00b4)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I really thought that if I kept staring for long enough the skirt would flop down… it’s amazing to see motion and texture captured so realistically on a static pose!<\/p>\n

The ever so slight peek at her stomach is also a lovely touch!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Also note the detailed movements of her twin-tails!”<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We’re joined by the planner for the figure, Hamako<\/span><\/span>!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)”Miku is well-known for her bold twin-tails, which are sculpted spinning out in all sorts of directions to add to the dynamic feeling of the figure! Careful attention was also given to the use of depth to closer recreate the feeling of the original illustration!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The hair wound around her right finger comes from the left side of her hair! I could never quite tell on the illustration, but the figure let’s you see everything from whatever angle you please! \u30fd(*\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u4eba(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb*)\u30ce<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The degree of accuracy of the hair is just lovely – just look at the way it curls around her arm and twirls around her finger! It looks so soft!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There is even some winding around her legs!! \uff08*\u00b4\u25bd\uff40*\uff09<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking of her legs… just look how nice and juicy they look as the knee-highs squish her skin down! <\/strong><\/span> …<\/span>Delicious!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)” Yep! At first glance Miku is very slender, but she actually has some rather sexy curves to her body as well!” <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This angle gives you a good look at her arm and fingers! The upper arm looks so delicate and smooth!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You can also just see her thighs sticking out inbetween the knee-highs and skirt, and the overall posture of the figure gives her an effeminate charm! (\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Her eyes just seem to suck you inside… wrapped with a mysterious atmosphere that leaves you wondering what she is thinking! It really captures the feeling of mebae’s illustration so very well!”<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To me her eyes have a very strong will attached to them – true determination! But at the same time they have a mature feeling to them. At the same time, the opened mouth with a gentle finger touched to it has a rather innocent charm to it… the mixed signals all in one expression just make her all the more charming! ( -\uff89\uff6a-)<\/p>\n
