Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan<\/a><\/span>)<\/span><\/p>\n

Whenever I play 2-player shooting games I always tend to die really quickly, which means I’m left with a lot of time waiting for my partner to either die or finish the level. I have however become an expert at cheering on the second player while I’m dead!<\/p>\n

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a product up for preorder tomorrow…<\/p>\n

Nendoroid Sinon! \u266a<\/span><\/p>\n
<\/a><\/span>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
\nFrom the anime series ‘Sword Art Online II’ comes a Nendoroid of one of the best snipers in GGO, Sinon! Her arms are specially articulated allowing for all sorts of poses with her beloved rifle, the Hecate II. Sinon even comes with alternate parts that allow you to display her prone in a sniping pose, as well as shooting effect parts!<\/p>\n

Both a standard expression showing her cool and collected side, as well as an adorable embarrassed expression are both included. Be sure to add the cool and cute Sinon to your collection!<\/span>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Sinon-chan, the beautiful cool-headed sniper! ♥<\/span><\/p>\n

Even as a little Nendoroid her eyes are filled with a firm determination and careful judgement! Let’s take a look from the back!<\/p>\n

From the back you get a good look at the ‘Hecate II’ sniper rifle!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The size has been adjusted to suit the chibi Nendoroid look, but even so the smaller mechanical bits are rather detailed! The scope in particular is amazing! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/span><\/p>\n

The scarf around her neck is also fitted with a ball joint, allowing you to pose the scarf in a way that suits your pose!<\/p>\n

Her serious expression is so beautiful…! (*\u00b4\u0414`)<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

She also comes with a bent right leg which works great in combat scenes! \u266a<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/b>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Her outfit is also really something!”<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\n(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “It might not look like it at first, but when it comes down to it, Sinon is actually showing off a lot of skin! The outfit is definitely one of the more unique outfits that have been made into a Nendoroid, and the colors have been very intricately separated to get the same look from the series while still keeping the Nendoroid chibi feeling!”

The bare skin on the sides of her stomach and inner thighs! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)<\/p>\n

Even the bullets she holds between her fingers are faithfully included on her left hand here!!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The hand gun and pouch on her back are also made as separate parts!”<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In the photo from the back above you could even see the pouch’s flap!<\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Sinon-chan is one of the top Snipers in Gun Gale Online, which means she just had to be able to be posed like this!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sinon-chan prone and taking careful aim upon her targets! How on earth did you managed to pose her like this?! (\uff1b \uff65`\u03c9\uff65\u00b4)<\/p>\n

The scarf looks different… and I’m sure most Nendoroids can’t have their necks posed like this!<\/p>\n

( \u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\uff09 “She comes with special scarf parts for her ‘prone’ pose!”<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

We’re joined by Sinon-chan’s sculptor, Isao Shirasagi!<\/span><\/b> (GSC 3D Team)<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\uff09”The back of her neck is slightly more hollowed out, allowing for the head part to move further upward compared to most Nendoroids. That combined with the special scarf part which attaches to the neck joint allows for the prone pose!” <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Simple, yet effective! Perfect for clumsy people like me!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\uff09 “The special scarf part isn’t just great for easy poses, the sculpting of the creases and twists were also very carefully considered!”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Plus a little gun stand is included to really show her in sniping mode!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking of guns… does she come with any of parts to go with them?! (\uff61\uff65\u03c9\uff65)\uff89\uff9e<\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “I assume you’re talking about these shooting effect parts<\/b>? They are to recreate the muzzle flash as she fires the bullet!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “We also put a lot of work into her hairstyle!”<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The style itself, the way it spikes out to the sides and even her hair accessories have all been made exactly to the original character designs! Shirasagi-san said her hair was quite a challenge!”
\n<\/span><\/span>
\n( \u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\uff09”In the anime, Sinon-chan’s hair always sticks out to the sides at a nice diagonal to her face, but things aren’t quite that simple when working in the world of 3D instead of 2D. It was quite a challenge, but I think we managed captured the original 2D character design while still having her look good as a figure!”<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the many charms of figures is the ability to look at them from any angle, but it can also become quite a challenge for the sculptor who has to consider how the figure looks from every side!<\/p>\n

By the way, the arm parts on Sinon-chan have been articulated!<\/b><\/span> This allows for a little more freedom of poses, and also helps with the prone pose and poses holding her gun! (\u03c3\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)\u03c3<\/p>\n

\nEven the articulated area features the pattern of her outfit! \u03a3(\uff9f\u2200\uff9f\uff89)\uff89<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Exactly! Even though we added a joint, we didn’t want to make it look too obvious with a single color sticking out!”<\/span><\/span>
\n(I am certain the manufacturing team are going to be shedding tears…!)<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Last but not least, let me introduce her alternate expression part…. are you all ready?” <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Although Sinon-chan is best known for her more serious side, when she remembers some of the things Kiriro has done to her… this embarrassed face is bound to show!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All of a sudden she is just… too cute!! <\/b><\/span>
\nThe gap between the serious and the cute expressions is huge!!! \uff1c\u25ef\uff1e\uff1c\u25ef\uff1e<\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Ranran from the production team was responsible for Shinon’s expressions… and my request to her was ‘something that contrasts her cute and serious sides’. This is exactly what I was looking for! Great job Ranran!!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You can also combine the embarrassed expression with the prone pose… \u03b5=(\uff61\u30fb\u0434\u30fb\uff61)<\/p>\n

Combined even further with the bent right leg for a very innocent looking pose! <\/p>\n
