Today I’m going to be continuing on from yesterday’s blog with a closer look at…

The 1\/8th Scale:<\/span><\/b>
\nCiel Alencon!!<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

\nFrom the popular action game ‘GOD EATER 2’ comes a 1\/8th scale figure of Ciel Alencon! She is posed with her powerful God Arc weapon in ‘Predator Form’, ready to combat the Aragami with a confident expression on her face.<\/span><\/p>\n

A ‘Blade Form’ version of the weapon is also included, allowing you to choose which you prefer. Careful attention has also been given to Ciel’s unique outfit – from the frills on her skirt to the intricate details on her boots! A figure filled with highlights for fans to enjoy!<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Ooooohhhh!!!! \uff08*\u00b4\u25bd\uff40*\uff09<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/b>She’s finally up for preorder!!<\/p>\n

\nYesterday I took a brief look at her from eight different angles, but today I’ll be taking a look in a bit more detail! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)
\n<\/b>
\n– Ciel –<\/span><\/p>\n

The first thing I want to show is a rather unusual angle – A look from the side!<\/p>\n

<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

Just look at the lovely little frills on her blouse…! (\uff9f\uff21\uff9f;)<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

The puff sleeves look so realistic as well… I actually expected them to feel soft when I saw them at first! The muscles in her neck you can see from this angle are also lovely!<\/p>\n

\nAlso take note of the creases in her outfit!<\/b><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/b>You can picture the shape of the body beneath the clothes perfectly!<\/b><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\nHer skirt filled with frills, the tight corset which brings out her body’s shape beautifully and the delicate white blouse all come together so nicely, while still giving such all sorts of variation! \u266a<\/span>
\n
\n<\/span>Not to mention the thighs you can see below her fluttering skirt! Delicious!! The detail on her shoes is also stunning!<\/span>
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
Her upper body doesn’t reveal too much, making the areas that do show some skin stand out more! Just look at her neck and the small opening on her back!<\/p>\n

The holsters strapped around her back are also so intricate!<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Her gaze from this angle is simply breathtaking!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Those eyes are filled with such confidence and composure! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/p>\n

But there is more to Ciel than just the character… her weapon is pretty much another complete figure! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

– God Arc –<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “We really did our best to recreate the ‘living’ appearance of the God Arc!<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

We’re joined by the figure’s planner, Otanaka-shi<\/b>!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “For those unfamiliar with the series… a God Arc is an weapon infused with Oracle Cells making it an Aragami itself! A living, bionic weapon of sorts! We worked really closely with the game’s publisher to ensure it came out looking perfectly in figure form!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The detail on Ciel herself was impeccable, but the minuscule detail on the God Arc is almost unbelievable! It looks like it should be pulsing with life…<\/p>\n

The strange combination of the mechanical weapon and the organic Aragami parts also makes for some lovely contrast…. along with making the weapon even more disturbing! <\/p>\n

Take a look at red area inside the top of the ‘mouth’…! <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

It genuinely looks all wet and slippery!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I really thought that Ciel’s confident look was incredible… but the sinister look of the God Arc might be even more so!! (\uff1b \uff65`\u03c9\uff65\u00b4)<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The point where all the tentacle bits meet make for the most organic looking parts, making it even easier to compare to the mechanical parts to get that amazing contrast!” <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\nI think looking from the bottom is also a great way of getting a good feel for the contrast…!<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Just look at the way the tentacle-like things are crawling around the metallic semi-circle part! It actually makes me picture it moving further along giving a rather creepy feeling!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whilst the mechanical and organic contrast is one thing, you also have to contrast the clean and composed Ciel with her horrific, untamed looking weapon! (\/\u03c9\uff3c)<\/span><\/p>\n

\nAll in all, the combination of the two is simply a work of art!<\/span><\/b>\n<\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Ciel goes without saying, but this time around we wanted to bring out the GOD EATER universe and thought that including the God Arc in all it’s detail would be the best way to do that! The base of course also helps pull you into the universe of the game… to be honest I really think we put too much work into this figure! But with the sculptor and publisher working so hard, we simply didn’t want to cut any corners! We hope that she’ll be picked up and enjoyed by fans all over!” <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

All of my photos have had the God Arc in Predator Form…. but she also comes with an alternate version in Blade Form, which makes the figure look a lot less threatening! Simply pick which you prefer!
