Time has really been flying by recently! It’s hard to believe that we’re already into May… it feels like just the other day that we decided on the 2014 Snow Miku design! \u266a<\/p>\n

With that said, today I’m going to be taking a look at the…<\/p>\n

The 2015 design has the theme of ‘Plant Life in Hokkaido’s Winter’, and we were looking for both Miku’s costume design as well as a new design for her pet, Rabbit Yukine! I didn’t think we’d get to see Rabbit Yukine return for another year but I’m glad we do!<\/p>\n

Today I’ll be looking at the finalists for the contest!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone at both GSC and Crypton found it very difficult to select the finalists, but these were the finalists that we decided on in the end! Hopefully you’ll find one you like too! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/p>\n

<\/strong>1) <\/span><\/strong>“snowmiku” <\/span><\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>by kise<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/strong>Her hair ornaments are made to look like the Japanese Rowan tree. Overall her outfit is based on a ‘dairy’-look, which is what came to mind when I thought about Hokkaido, creating a bit of a ‘country’-themed outfit.<\/p>\n

\nThis Miku is based on the ‘snow-in-summer’ flower. <\/p>\n

3) Winter Bell <\/span>by Anmitsu<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n A Miku based on the image of a ‘Lily of the Valley Fairy’. Her hair ornaments and crown both make use of the flower. She has wings with snow flake patterns on her back.<\/p>\n

4) Snow Miku 2015 <\/span>by Taran<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\nLily of the Valley hair accessories and a snow-drop skirt. Her headset is made to look like white birch flowers. The ribbons all over the outfit are from a Japanese rowan tree. A slightly childish looking outfit.\n<\/p>\n

\nA gentleman to walk beside the beautiful Miku! His rather fake looking beard is his best feature!<\/p>\n

The pattern on her ears is a flower pattern.<\/p>\n

\nThese are the eight finalists! <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

One design of Miku and one design of Yukine will be selected from these to become the official 2015 Snow Miku! <\/span><\/p>\n

It really was quite difficult to select these finalists, there were many other lovely entries! The final choice however remains with the fans – the winning designs will be selected by a survey during the live broadcast tomorrow! Be sure to get your vote in!
