Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan<\/a><\/span>)<\/span><\/p>\n

I once tried drinking hot sake in an open air bath… it didn’t take long for me to feel rather flushed. Just thinking about it makes me feel a little tipsy!<\/p>\n

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at two products which were announced today…<\/p>\n

Bath Time Collection Ryujo<\/span><\/a>

\nBath Time Collection: Kitakami<\/span><\/a>! \u2661<\/span><\/center><\/p>\n

Two new friends to join the Bathtime Collection series of bath toys!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The reason they look so shiny is because they are made with a different material to Nendoroids and most figures – they’re specially made to be strong against water and heat! ( -\uff89\uff6a-)<\/p>\n

Let’s start off with a closer look at Ryujo-chan!<\/p>\n

Bath Time Collection: Ryujo!<\/span><\/p>\n

From the popular ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes the third character to join the Bath Time Collection series of bath toys – Ryujo!<\/p>\n

The design is based on an illustration of Ryujo by popular illustrator CHANxCO, and also features a wind-up motor which is designed to work both in water and on the ground! Enjoy the company of the cute Ryujo in the bath or anywhere else!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Ryujo is posed laid out on the deck of her ship with a very confident expression on her face! She’s so adorable! (\u25cf\u00b4\u03c9\uff40\u25cf)<\/p>\n

Her characteristic visor is also of course included!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “A long awaited product release of Ryujo-chan!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Today we’re joined by Kyojin<\/span><\/strong> from the planning team!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Ryujo is actually my favorite Kanmusu, so I’m super happy to see her!”<\/span><\/p>\n

She also looks cute from the back! \u2661<\/strong>
\nCHANxCO’s lovely illustration has been so faithfully transformed! (*\uff9f\uff70\uff9f*)<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “This time around we’ve also increased their ability to withstand hotter baths! Take a look at the bottom of the product description!”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ah! It’s changed to 45\u00b0C<\/span>! \uff1c\u25cf\uff1e\uff1c\u25cf\uff1e<\/strong><\/p>\n

Next up we have Kitakami-sama!!<\/p>\n

The design is based on an illustration of Kitakami by popular illustrator CHANxCO, and features a wind-up propeller unit allowing her to speed along the water!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

She is placed in such a lazy, carefree looking pose!! It’s perfect! \u2661<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kitakami herself looks great, but so does the equipment on her back and the torpedoes she is lying on! (\uff61\uff65\u03c9\uff65)\uff89\uff9e<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “By the way, the motor parts of both the characters can be removed!”<\/span><\/p>\n

If you just want to put them on display and not use them as bath toys, then this should make that easier! (*\u00b4\u0414`)<\/p>\n

H-Hold on a second… these attachments! I wonder….<\/p>\n

Ooh!! You can swap the two types of motors around!! \u30fd(*\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u4eba(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb*)\u30ce<\/strong><\/p>\n

I wonder if this was by design… or if they just happened to work out like that…?<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Haha… this was completely by design!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Darn… I was about to claim I was the first person to figure it out… ( \u00b0\u0434\u00b0)<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The units can also be swapped out with the previously announced, Bath Time Collection: Akagi<\/a>!!”<\/span>
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ooh… so you were even thinking about cross-compatibility with the previous release! If you grab more than one be sure to try switching the parts around – it might be fun to see the different Kanmusu moving about in different ways!<\/p>\n

Anyway… it’s hard to do a review of bath toys without water… so here’s a quick video review too!!<\/p>\n
