Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan<\/a><\/span>)<\/span><\/p>\n

I was born with black hair and have never tried any other colors… I’ve gone through phases of considering trying pink and blond hair in the past through!<\/p>\n

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a figure already up for preorder…<\/p>\n

The 1\/7th Scale:<\/span><\/strong>

From the popular series ‘FAIRY TAIL’ comes a figure of the Dragon Slayer who always looks out for his friends, Natsu Dragneel! <\/p>\n

He has been sculpted in 1\/7th scale with his fist raised in an imposing stance, ready to fight! He also comes with special flame effect parts to attach to his fist, showing exactly why he is known as the ‘Salamander’! Both his jacket and the flame effect parts can be attached and removed whenever you like, allowing you to choose the pose you prefer!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

It’s quite refreshing to see a male figure released by Good Smile Company, isn’t it? This is actually the second 1\/7th scale FAIRY TAIL figure from us, following on from the previously released <\/strong>Lucy<\/a>!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Natsu’s colored prototype is currently in China… but luckily a sample had already come in from the factory the other day, so I’ll be using it for my review today! (The sample will be altered from what you see here!) (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway, let’s get a closer look at some of the details!<\/p>\n

First up are his legs! \u266b<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Definitely a highlight for ankle lovers like me!<\/span><\/p>\n

They look so muscular…! The bones look amazing too!!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

His fingers are also each sculpted in great detail! His legs are a lot more burly than you’d ever see on a female figure! \uff08*\u00b4\u25bd\uff40*\uff09<\/p>\n

Moving on, let’s take a closer look at his outfit!!<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Even the creases on his outfit are amazingly detailed! It might look black at first, but if you get the right angle you’ll notice a hint of purple in the color too!<\/p>\n

He has a rather tight coat with a fairly loose look around his hips and baggy pants. The look suits his design so nicely! \u03a3(\u30fb\u0414\u30fb<\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The pose was decided on together with the sculptor!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We’re joined today by the figure’s planner, Yuri-chan Honpo! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Working close with the sculptor on the pose allowed for an amazing presence… even with a rather simple pose!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Hmmm… his scarf seems to have a little gap! Time for a closer peek!<\/p>\n

Oooh!! Even his scar is faithfully included!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Of course it is! It wouldn’t be Natsu without the scar!”<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s always nice to see your favorite characters sculpted in such lovely detail! \u266a<\/p>\n

Let’s move down a little bit lower…<\/p>\n

\\\\ Just look at those abs! \/\/<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

Don’t you get the urge to slide your finger along them?! (*\u00b4\u0414\uff40)=\u0437<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Natsu definitely features lots of sculpting that you don’t normally see on female figures… his abs are definitely a part of that, but the muscles on his back are just as impressive!”<\/span><\/p>\n

His… back…? Ah! You mean in your mind’s eye? They do look rather amazing….<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “No, no! His coat can be removed to see his back!”<\/span><\/p>\n

\\\\ Just look at those back muscles! \/\/<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

Oooohhh!!! \uff08*\u00b4\u25bd\uff40*\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n

I never considered myself much a fan of impressive muscles… but… but this looks lovely!! \u2661\u2665<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “As you may have already noticed, the fiery fist effect parts<\/strong> can also be attached and removed!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ah! It breaks into halves to fit around his fist! They’re also such a lovely color! \u2661<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Of course the fist inside the effect parts is sculpted in just the same quality as the rest of the figure too!”<\/span><\/p>\n

A removable coat, optional effect parts… for a scale figure you get quite a large number of possibilities! \u266a<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “This kind of ‘macho’ male figure is definitely quite a rare thing from GSC, we hope that more female fans will see the charm of figures through it!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Now that I think about it, Gray Fullbuster’s prototype was also on display at WonFes, wasn’t it? \u266a<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Yep! We’re working on Gray at the moment… he’s coming along well! Take a peek!” <\/span><\/p>\n
