Today I’m going to be taking a look at…<\/p>\n

Nendoroid Kongou!<\/span> ~desu! \u2661<\/p>\n

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the Super Dreadnought Battleship, Kongou! The large turret battery on her back featuring four separate turrets are each separately articulated for all sorts of poses!<\/p>\n

She also comes with a tea cup, saucer and chair to display her relaxing for tea time as any ship originating from England should! Alternate parts that allow you to display her in her half-damage form are also included, leaving fans with all sorts of different options to choose from!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

I know all the admirals out there have been waiting for this one!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The third in the KanColle Nendoroid series, following on from Shimakaze and Akagi! Her lovely Japanese outfit has been faithfully shrunk down to Nendoroid size! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)\u309e<\/p>\n

Kongou’s unique hairstyle also looks amazing in Nendoroid form!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The buns are even braided giving an amazingly cute look! \uff08*\u00b4\u25bd\uff40*\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But the part I really want to focus on…
\nis the giant turret battery on her back!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Even they they have been made into chibi size they still look absolutely amazing!! \u30fd(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)\uff89 <\/p>\n

The connection between the battery and the body is a Nendoroid joint, allowing you to easily change the angle of the entire battery – but that’s not all… there are also more Nendoroid joints along it for even more posability!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The joints allow you to easily move the various parts horizontally and vertically to create pretty much any pose you can imagine – and effect parts are also included!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/span>“FIRE!!”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>The effect parts are they kind that connect into the barrel of the turret!<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As there are four different turrets on the battery… she comes with not just one effect part, but one for each turret! A total of four firing effect parts are included! If you make use of all of them at once… (\uff9f\uff21\uff9f;)<\/p>\n

<\/span>“BURNING LOVE!!”<\/span> <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Simply attach and remove them wherever you see fit!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “There is more to enjoy than just the fighting effect parts!”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We’re joined by the head planner for the figure, Kyojin!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Just like Zegamashi, she also comes with a half-damage body!”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/strong>Ooooohh!! \uff08*\u00b4\u25bd\uff40*\uff09<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The torn sleeves make her look so helpless… I can’t help but want to get closer!!<\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)”On the actual half damage body her leggings are also ragged and torn, but we wanted to allow fans to pose her normal body in the sitting pose too, so we decided to leave them untorn!”<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI notice her head part also features a switchable broken part for her left side!<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/strong>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Kongou might be a little smaller in Nendoroid size, but that doesn’t mean her lovely body isn’t faithfully sculpted!”

By the way, the battery also comes with alternate parts to transform it into the half-damage version!<\/p>\n

The broken parts and damaged apperance… looking at the broken turret battery alone is a little depressing… (\u00b4\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\uff40)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

To think there would be something to touch my heart even in the half-damage appearance!! Looking at the turret alone also gives you a good feeling for just how detailed it is.<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Plus that’s still not all! She also comes with this set to match her ‘I’d love a cuppa tea’ line!”<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ah! A teacup and saucer! \u266a<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Wait a second … is that chair also included?! \u03a3(\uff9f\u2200\uff9f\uff89)\uff89<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Yep! You can’t have a decent cup of tea without a comfy chair to sit on! We had to include one!”<\/span><\/p>\n

It even has carved out legs… a rather fancy look! (*\u00b4\u0414`)\u2661<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “With this set admirals can enjoy a cup of tea with Kongou – she wouldn’t have it any other way!”<\/span><\/p>\n

If you combine the half-damage parts with her drinking tea it creates a slightly flustered ‘This tea is a too hot’ pose! I can just imagine her taking a sip and then saying… “Let me show you how to make a real cup of tea!<\/p>\n

I’m also told that this time there will once again be a special bonus for orders at the Good Smile Online Shop!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The special box sleeve as well as the bonus special stand that have been a part of all the KanColle Nendoroids will once again be offered as a bonus for GSC Online preorders!”<\/span><\/p>\n

The special stands are made to look like an ocean, and even make use of a clear plastic! \u266a<\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “You might have noticed from the photo, but due to Kongou’s turrets being rather large the stand is in fact slightly larger than normal! Nendoroid stands are normally 6cm x 6cm, but this one is 8cm x 8cm!”

The same size as Nendoroid Chris Yukine who also had huge weapons! But does that mean both the normal stand and the bonus stand will be the larger size?<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Yes! We want to make sure that fans have enough space to pose her in as many ways as possible! By the way, the special sleeve’s design is still in production, but we’ll be revealing it shortly!”<\/span><\/p>\n
