Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan<\/a><\/span>)<\/span><\/p>\n

I look forward to going out and looking at the cherry blossoms this Spring! I want to do it properly – lay down a vinyl sheet under the blossoms, sit and and relax in a storm of petals while enjoying some delicious dango!<\/p>\n

On that note, today I’m going to be introducing a figure just as beautiful as the falling cherry blossoms… \u2661<\/p>\n

<\/span>The second issue of FIGURE Japan will be focusing on the popular electronic diva – Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku! The included figure is a 1\/10th scale ‘Sakura Miku feat KEI’ – a classic figure based on an illustration by KEI, colored a beautiful cherry blossom pink! The cover of the magazine will also feature an illustration by KEI!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Sakura Miku previously became a Nendoroid, but now she’ll also be released as a scale figure too!<\/p>\n

As with the Nendoroid, she features lovely cherry blossom prints along her beautiful long hair!<\/p>\n

Her outfit is also amazingly detailed, down to the creases in her dress!<\/p>\n

It also has a pearl coating that gives a nice relaxed feeling… isn’t it lovely…?<\/p>\n

Whilst the contents of the magazine certain do interest me, I don’t have access to them right now… so instead I’ll be taking a close up look at the included figure! <\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “There is no way I can completely explain the cuteness of this Sakura Miku… but I definitely think the pearl coating is what makes her so very special!” <\/span> <\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The pearl coating causes all the details on her outfit to stand out even more than before!”<\/span><\/p>\n

It also seems to have a more dynamic feeling to the standard colors! \u03b5=(\uff61\u30fb\u0434\u30fb\uff61)<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Nendoroid Sakura Miku also made use of a pearl coat so I really wanted to make use of it on the scale figure too… I’m personally quite glad with that decision!<\/span> <\/span><\/strong>It gives her an overall more dynamic and glamorous appearance – and a presence you’d never expect from a 1\/10th scale figure!” <\/span><\/strong><\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

The original 1\/8th scale Hatsune Miku had a metallic shine to her design, but the pearl effect is definitely a completely different charm! It’s more shiny and definitely suits Sakura Miku nicely.\u2605<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Another point I’d like to point out is her expression!!”<\/strong><\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Miku normally has an energetic, smiling appearance, but Sakura Miku is more of a gentle, kind look… which we wanted to portray through her expression too! After discussing things with the production team we ended up with this – it’s actually rather different when compared to the 1\/8th scale Miku’s expression!” <\/span><\/p>\n

Ah-hah! I knew she seemed different in some way or another! The expression definitely does look a little gentler!<\/p>\n

<\/span>(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) <\/span>“We also replaced areas that are normally black with a more brown color, and altered the eyebrows to create a more gentle appearance overall!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Not only a lovely cherry blossom color scheme, but a bit of a personality adjustment too! \u2661<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “It’s definitely not a figure that will lose to her bigger version in any way… except size! The detail is exquisite and anyone who picks her up is sure to be more than satisfied!”<\/span><\/p>\n
