Recently I’ve become rather addicted to ginger kuzuyu<\/a>! But anyway, today I’m going to be taking a a look at a product going on sale as of today…<\/p>\n

COMBAT ARMORS MAX 01:

The epic box art by Hidetaka Tenjin really makes the packaging stand out! It also has a strangely appealing texture… it feels so nice to the touch!<\/p>\n

Here is the box compared with a Nendoroid Petite for comparison! (o\u30fb\u03c9\u30fbo)<\/p>\n

Displayed vertically this is how they compare!<\/p>\n

I wonder how many Petite Mikudayos could fit into this box… I actually found this lying on Oda-P’s old desk… I wonder if anyone will mind if I open it up…?<\/p>\n

\nIt looks like the box is packed up quite fill! (\uff9f\uff21\uff9f;)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let me start off by taking everything out the packets and lining it up!<\/p>\n

Inside the lid is a lovely full-color instruction manual!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This includes assembly instructions as well as various other interesting things about the anime and it’s setting! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Before this the only plastic models I’ve put together are Pikachu and Vampire Cat… I wonder if I’ll be able to do this?<\/p>\n

It’s definitely a challenge I’m willing to accept! \u2605<\/p>\n

1) Finding the Right Parts<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Alright… so the first thing I need to find is… the human-like part!<\/p>\n

This must be it!<\/p>\n

Alright… next I need to find the chair part…<\/p>\n

*Search* *Search*<\/strong><\/em> ( \uff9f\u0434\uff9f) Ah!<\/p>\n

I just realized… all I need to do is search for the “G3” Part!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yay! I’ve got all the parts from (1) now!! \u30fd(*\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u4eba(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb*)\u30ce
\nNow I need to get them out of their mould frames…!<\/p>\n

Cutting though the plastic feels so relaxing! \uff08*\u00b4\u25bd\uff40*\uff09<\/p>\n

Alright… I’ve completed the first step in the process!<\/p>\n

It’s such a tiny little man but the details are amazing! You can even make out his outfit and accessories!<\/p>\n

By the way, if you want to paint your Crinn Cashim you’ll find a color guide on the back sheet of the instruction manual!<\/p>\n

2) Meet with Strange Vocabulary<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Alright… what’s next?<\/p>\n

S-Select my ‘Canopy Type’? (\uff9f\u0414\uff9f)?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

W-What is that supposed to mean…?
\nAh, it was written on the previous page!<\/p>\n

“The top of the head part or ‘canopy’ comes with an hatch which can be opened up in times of emergency”<\/em><\/p>\n

Hmm… so I can choose either to have the hatch as articulated or locked in place… I think I’ll go with articulated which means that I need to find… these parts!<\/p>\n

Ooh! I feel like I’m getting much better at finding the parts already!! Now to put connect them together! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/p>\n

Okay… all is going well! Next up…<\/p>\n

3) Adding Decals<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

U-uh-oh… maybe I was supposed to stick the decals on before putting the parts together… (\uff1b\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)<\/p>\n

All the plastic models I’ve made in the parts just used stickers… I hope decals aren’t too much harder…<\/p>\n

I want some tweezers and a small dish of water to dip the decals in! Ranran from the production team was kind enough to let me borrow some! (\u03c3\u30fb\u2200\u30fb)\u03c3<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

So now I cut out the decal…<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Soak it in the water for a little bit…<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ooh! It came unstuck from the paper quickly and easily!! \uff8d(\uff9f\u2200\uff9f*)\uff89<\/p>\n

Now I can grab it with the tweezers… and stick it on!<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Then a quick dry down with a cotton bud…<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Now this part really is complete!! \u30fd(=\u00b4\u25bd`=)\uff89<\/p>\n

Phew… I have such a sense of satisfaction after applying the decal so successfully… I must admit however that it’s been over an hour since I opened up the box. ^^;<\/p>\n

It looks like I’m in for the long haul… so I think I’ll have a quick snack break! I think I’ll treat myself to a Shirukuma & wooser’s Chummy Oshiruko<\/a>! \u2661<\/p>\n

But… after enjoying my tasty treat… I came back to find this…!!<\/p>\n

An empty box and a fully built Dougram?!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The decals aren’t stuck on… but is it really possible to build the whole thing in such a short amount of time?! I wasn’t even gone for an hour!<\/p>\n

After speaking with some of the other staff members, I’m told that it takes a normal person only around 1-2 hours to complete! Here is how it looks fully built and with all the decals! \u2606<\/p>\n

There are decals all over the model which really bring it all together nicely! (As a side note… I have no idea how to make robot poses! (\u00b4\uff1b\u03c9\uff1b\uff40) )<\/p>\n

Of course you can personalize it and make it your very own Dougram too! \u266a<\/strong><\/p>\n
