I keep realizing that I have the Otorimonogatari OP ‘Mousou Express’ stuck in my head, and so today I’m going to be taking a look at the ‘Monogatari’ Series Caf\u00e9: Second Season which started today! \u2661<\/p>\n

With the second season, the characters all seem to have a new set of charms to accompany their characters! I already want to rewatch through the whole second season! ((o(\u00b4\u2200\uff40)o))<\/p>\n

Today I’m joined by a Nendo shipping out from GSC from the 16th January…<\/p>\n

Yep! Once again I’m not alone! I brought a friend to keep me company! <\/strong>
\nI’m not… alone!! (\u00b4\uff1b\u03c9\uff1b\uff40)<\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway, today I’ll be ordering the recommendation of Kimuraya from the caf\u00e9 team… the Fringe-Girl Set<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

I also decided I needed some dessert, and since Mayoi-chan was with me, I decided it should be the Mayoi Hachikuji (Adult) Purification Plate<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

But which drink should I pick…?<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mayoi looks like she wants the ‘Deishu Kaiki’<\/strong> drink, so I’ll go with that one!<\/p>\n

As usual with every order, you will also get your hands on some unique goodies! There are three different placemats, 20 different badges and nine different coasters!<\/p>\n

Only after I had ordered did I realize just how cute the Mayoi-chan coaster is!!<\/strong> I was a little upset that I didn’t pick that drink… but I’ll have to come back and get it at a later stage! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4\uff1b)<\/p>\n

Anyway, while I’m waiting for my food and drink, let’s take a look at what is on display this time around! Starting with the ceiling! \u2605<\/p>\n

\nBeautiful tapestries line the ceiling, filled with everyone’s favorite characters! \u2661<\/p>\n

Those two cute <\/span><\/strong>loli girls are looking right at me!! (*\u00b4\u0414`)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The inner side walls are filled with scene cuts from each of the different arcs!<\/p>\n

The walls closer to the entrance have the Monogatari series figures on display!<\/p>\n

I also heard a birdie say there might be a new Nendoroid on display soon…!
\n( -\uff89\uff6a-)Sssh!<\/p>\n

But there are also other goodies to see, including all the latest Blu-rays, T-shirts featuring Hajime Ueda’s illustrations! You can even see the full page adverts that were in the Yomiuri newspaper! \u30fd(*\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u4eba(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb*)\u30ce<\/p>\n

Plus the projector on the back wall is playing the promotional videos of each of the Monogatari series! Please note that photos and filming of the video screening is not allowed!<\/p>\n

Phew… after wandering around the caf\u00e9…<\/p>\n

It seems my ‘Deishu Kaiki’ drink has arrived!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I-It’s certainly an interesting color…! (\uff9f\uff21\uff9f;)<\/strong><\/p>\n

At first glace it does look a bit muddy… but the tropical flower and lemon on the top definitely brighten things up a bit!<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But how does it taste…?<\/p>\n

. .. … ….<\/strong> ….. Delicious! \u266a (o\u30fb\u03c9\u30fbo)<\/strong><\/p>\n

It has a rather Southern taste to it… kind of a Blue Hawaii cross orange juice taste!<\/p>\n

Although it looks muddy, it actually has a clear, refreshing taste! \u266a<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ah! My Fringe-Girl Set has also arrived!<\/p>\n

This set includes hijiki rice as well as some warm udon noodles! They all taste super good… warming up the body and the mind! \u03b5=(\uff61\u30fb\u0434\u30fb\uff61)<\/p>\n

As it includes both rice and noodles… it’s also nice and filling!!<\/p>\n

Two dried plums included! I hadn’t eaten these in ages… they were sour, but tasty! Anyway… let me go grab my badges while waiting for my dessert! \u2606<\/p>\n

\nFor each item you order from the menu, you receive one coin to use in the capsule machine! I ordered three items so I get three badges!<\/p>\n

There are a total of twenty different designs! I got these three…<\/p>\n

They’re all rather dark!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I love the close up on the eye!<\/p>\n

By the way… the placemat I received with my meal is on display at my work desk right now! \u266a<\/p>\n

I love those Nadeko’s evil glare at the bottom!! Nom Nom!!<\/p>\n

Anyway, let’s get onto the dessert! \u2605<\/p>\n

Puffed grain, candy floss with sugar candy and candy apples! Definitely reminds you of a certain scene from the series… and also gives off a lovely festival-like feeling! \u266a<\/p>\n

I made sure to give some to my Nendoroid Mayoi-chan too!<\/p>\n

\nI actually think this was the first time I’ve ever eaten a candy apple while not at a festival!<\/p>\n

The dessert also includes a coaster featuring the adult Mayoi-chan! The selection of sweet goodies made for a lovely dessert! I recommend it to anyone who visits! \uff8d(\uff9f\u2200\uff9f*)\uff89<\/p>\n

There are still so many other options on the menu I didn’t get to try today… but I’m sure I’ll be back before the end of the month!<\/p>\n

The ‘Monogatari’ Series Caf\u00e9: Second Season<\/strong> is running until the 29th January 2014! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/p>\n

\nPlease also note that from the 7th January the caf\u00e9 has become completely run by online reservations<\/strong>. That said, if there does happen to be an opening in the seating when you arrive, the staff will still allow you in! The reservations simply take preference.<\/p>\n

You can see when the caf\u00e9 will be busy by taking a look at the reservation page. It’s a bit like a beauty salon now! Simply put – if you don’t reserve you might have to wait, but you’re welcome to try! (\uff61\uff65\u03c9\uff65)\uff89\uff9e<\/p>\n

The reservation system is new and still undergoing changes, so bear with the caf\u00e9 team as they work out the kinks!<\/p>\n
