Getting to work today was certainly no easy task due to the typhoon… I had to stand in a super long queue and it wasn’t even for something nice like goods or to meet a voice actress… it was just to get on the same train I ride to work every weekday!!\u3000(\u00b4\u25a1\uff40\uff61)<\/p>\n

Unfortunately the typhoon also delayed the Kan Colle Caf\u00e9 an extra day, but it will be up and ready for everyone from tomorrow, the 17th October!

I was lucky enough to be allowed to sneak into the cafe before anyone else… first and foremost I was greeted by the cafe’s mascot, Mamiya-san! Those who visited Hobbyshow last weekend would have seen this on display there as well!<\/p>\n

The Kanmidokoro Mamiya cafe features various food and drink based on your favorite Kanmusu! \u266a<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The drink menu is titled ‘Fuel Menu’…! (((o(*\uff9f\u25bd\uff9f*)o)))<\/strong><\/p>\n

The orders of any drinks from the menu will include a coaster featuring the character that the drink is based on!
\n<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ordering any meal will also include a placemat for you to take home! You can also pay a little extra to have both the coaster and placemat laminated to ensure they last much longer! \u266a<\/p>\n

<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Enon-shi<\/span> was just about to have a final taste test of some of the food, so let’s see what he thought of it!<\/p>\n

I believe the meal he ordered was the Ryuujou no Takoyaki Meal!<\/strong>

\n(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “That’s right! Plus for just \u00a5100 you can make it a larger ‘Akagi’ sized serving, and for \u00a5200 you can make it even bigger! I highly recommend it if you’re feeling peckish!”

Did you come up with the menu for the cafe?<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “I worked on it together with the planner of Nendoroid Shimakaze, Kyojin as well as some of the other Kan Colle admirals at GSC! It was quite hard as we all wanted to create a menu of the characters we like best… we had a small scale war deciding on what would be used in the end!”<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two different menus, with only the first one being available for now… but the second also looks delicious! (=\uff9f\u03c9\uff9f)\uff89<\/p>\n

I decided to try the Naka-chan set<\/strong> for myself!
\n<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\nIt looks absolutely delicious!! (OvO)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

… Nom nom nom! The beautiful green jelly is melon flavoured! It tastes just as good as it looks! The white blocks are cuts of a yogurt mousse cake. \u2606<\/p>\n

I’ve only become an admiral myself recently, but after eating this I want to get Naka-chan on my team as soon as possible! I have to!!<\/p>\n

Other meals include a ‘Kitakami Jyuuraisou Green Curry’ with a boat of rice floating in a sea of curry, as well as a ‘Yamato Parfait’ including a cute little umbrella! The full menu details can be found here: http:\/\/www.gstjcafe.jp\/theme_cafe\/2474\/<\/a><\/p>\n

I also bumped into Seiya-shi<\/span> and Kimuraya<\/span> who were trying the ‘Kitakami Jyuuraisou Green Curry’! The curry was apparently a lot spicier than expected! I decided to ask them what they liked about the cafe! <\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb) “The menu is very entertaining and well-thought out, and the magnets included as extras are great! In order to please as many admirals as possible… there are over 100 different varieties of them!!”<\/span>

\nOoooh!!! <\/span> This must be the most variety in the history of the cafe!
\n<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb) “Plus we’ll be adding characters who are not yet available at a later stage!”<\/span><\/p>\n

These magnets can be retrieved with the special coins you’ll receive with any order! Just put the coin in one of the special capsule machines!<\/p>\n

(\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb) “The cafe is more than just the menu though! There are all sorts of things on display too!”<\/span>

\n(\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb) “The tapestries hanging from the ceiling come in both normal versions and half-damaged versions!” <\/span><\/p>\n

These are great! It’s fun comparing the back and the front to see the damage!<\/p>\n

(\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb) “There are also 6 different table mats to enjoy… you’ll have to just hope that the characters you like are available when you arrive though!”<\/span>

The mat even looks like the battle board! Where is my Sazanami-chan~?<\/p>\n

(\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb) “The ‘Bathtime Collection’ Shimakaze that was on display at Hobbyshow has also moved into the cafe for everyone to enjoy!” <\/span>

\nShe’s so adorable!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You really need to see this with your own two eyes! <\u25cf><\u25cf><\/strong><\/p>\n

She is still in development and the size is still being altered, but she is definitely something any admirals can look forward to! Other Kan Colle goods (by Aoshima) are also on display! I’ll show just a few of them here!

The one thing that really caught my eye were these ceramic tumblers!!<\/p>\n

\nThere are also some cellphone cleaner and charm capsule machines to try at the register!<\/p>\n

I also spotted a plastic model from Arpeggio of Blue Steel!<\/p>\n

Takao and Maya were also on display! \u266a<\/strong><\/p>\n

They’re not Kan Colle, but they definitely both share a naval theme so this little collaboration was created… maybe we can expect more of it in the future!<\/p>\n

There were also various other plastic models of ships!
\nThe amount of detail on them is super impressive! ((((\uff1b\uff9f\u0414\uff9f)))))))!<\/p>\n

Everything I’ve shown here is only a selection of the goodies on display! I don’t have the time to show everything here on the blog… plus it’s much more amazing to see them all in person, so I highly recommend stopping by the cafe if you can!! (OvO)<\/p>\n
