I’m currently trying to decide whether or not to switch from short to long sleeves! It’s starting to feel like autumn is on the way! But it’s always easy to get sick during season changes, so I hope everyone is taking care!<\/p>\n

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a product announced today: <\/p>\n

From the anime ‘Sword Art Online’ comes a 1\/8th scale figure of the Knights of the Blood sub-leader, Asuna!<\/p>\n

She is posed wearing her guild outfit with a serious expression on her face, as she nimbly dances around the battlefield holding her favorite sword, ‘Lambent Light’. It’s a pose that shows both Asuna’s cute and serious side, for fans to enjoy whenever they please!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

She’s beautiful!!! (*\u00b4\u0414`)<\/span><\/p>\n

Her long, flowing hair! <\/p>\n

\nHer dynamic skirt!<\/p>\n

\nHer fluttering cape!<\/p>\n

\nShe’s beautiful no matter what angle you look from…<\/span>

The pose has an amazingly dynamic feeling which works really well with her outfit to create a wonderful, elegant pose! The details on Lambent Light are also fantastic!<\/p>\n

One of my personal favorite areas… her hip area!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Isn’t she nice! Isn’t she pretty! \u266a”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The head planner of Asuna, Yuri-chan Honpo<\/span> has come to stare with me! <\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The theme of this figure was to create a figure that stands at the boundary of the 2D and 3D world, showing the beauty from both! (\uff40\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)”<\/span>

\nYuri-chan was also the head planner for all the other SAO figures as well as other figures like the scale and Nendoroid figures of Kuroyukihime!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Yep! Nendoroids have a kind of built-in cuteness factor from their chibiness, but scale figures need to bring out the personality and atmosphere of the character completely!”<\/span>
\n<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\nI think the scale of Kuroyukihime is a good example of that! It preserves her elegant, gentle apperance… and also has a bit of a sexy side!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Scale figures allow us to focus on the details, which you can really see by looking at Asuna’s outfit!”<\/span>
\n<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\nThe collar and shoulder areas are beautiful… (*\u00b4\u0414`)
\nThe manufacturing team are in for some tough work…<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “She’s a scale figure which means she’s not posable, but that allowed us to focus on getting the pose perfect! For those who don’t know, the pose is from the cover illustration of the first light novel! The bottom half of her wasn’t in the illustration so we had to experiment a bit to find some legs that suited the pose! <\/span>
\n<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\n(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The twist in the hips and overall balance of the figure required lots of discussion and testing.” <\/span><\/p>\n

That’s just one of the challenges of turning 2D into 3D!<\/p>\n

(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “Yep, but I’m a huge fan of Asuna myself, so it was great to see her slowly but surely take shape! \u266a”<\/p>\n

The figure is filled with Yuri-chan’s love! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)<\/p>\n

If you were to select your favorite part of the figure, what would it be?<\/p>\n

\n(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The little indents and the way the shadows fall around them just look so perfect!” <\/span><\/p>\n

The body line down from the armpits to the hips is also lovely! \u30fd(*\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u4eba(\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb*)\u30ce

\n(\u30fb\u2200\u30fb) “The pose lets you enjoy both armpits, so if you have that little fetish like me, you’re bound to love this figure!”<\/span><\/p>\n
