All the staff who are involved with the contest are waiting with bated breath to see everyone’s lovely entries!! (((\u309c\u0414\u309c)))<\/p>\n

There are some people who have already submitted their entries which has already got me super excited for what’s to come! A big thank you to those who have already entered! Today’s blog will be taking a look at exactly how you can enter the competition yourself!<\/p>\n

It did end up as a rather long summary though… ^^;<\/p>\n

Basically, everyone is free to enter, and everyone is free to vote!!
\nLet me explain these each in a little more detail…<\/p>\n

“I want to enter!”<\/strong><\/span>
\n 
\n(1) Take a photo that involves a (GSC-related) scale figure.<\/strong><\/span>
\nNendoroid and figmas are not applicable by themselves, but you’re welcome to have them in the photo with a scale figure!<\/span><\/p>\n

(2) Write down your name on some paper and take a second photo with your name and the figure.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(3) Submit your photos from (1) and (2) above on the Photo Contest Page!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Isn’t she lovely?! I can never get tired of looking at Ulti-Madoka! ^^<\/p>\n

I took my photo with an SLR camera, but you’re welcome to use whatever camera you like! Even cellphone or smartphone cameras are welcome! The most important thing is that you convey your love for the character, the series and the figure!! (`\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb\u00b4)<\/p>\n

The one restriction is that photos must be below 5MB in size! <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You can confirm the file size by right-clicking and selecting ‘properties’, but if you’re still not sure just send it through anyway! :P If you find out it’s too big, then you can easily resize it with free image editing software!<\/p>\n

Also note that anything too ecchi or with panties showing might not be selected for voting!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It doesn’t matter if they’re real people or figures! If you’re taking photos of girls then you need to keep their feelings in mind! (\u30fb\u03c9\u30fb)\u30ce

\nNow write your name down and take a second photo!<\/span><\/p>\n

This is required to confirm the entry really is your work!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It’s proof that you took the photo yourself! You don’t need to worry too much about the quality of this second photo – as long as the name and figure are visible it’s more than enough!<\/p>\n

Note that if this verification photo isn’t correctly submitted or doesn’t contain your name then your entry won’t be put up on the site, so ensure it’s correct! You’re welcome to reenter if you feel something went wrong!<\/p>\n

“I want to vote!”<\/strong><\/span>

\n\u30fb Voting starts on the 21st June!<\/strong><\/span>
\nBy voting for your favorite photo on Twitter or Facebook you’ll also have a chance to win one of the voter’s prizes! Plus you get to let everyone know which photo you think is best!<\/span>

\nMore photos that pass the selection process will be added for voting on the 5th July (Fri) and the 12th July (Fri)!<\/strong><\/span>
\n <\/span>
\n\u30fbVoting closes on the 17th July! (Wed)!<\/strong><\/span>
\nYou can vote as many times as you like up until then, so be sure to check the new photos on the photo contest website each Friday!<\/span><\/p>\n

So let me keep this simple as I summarize quickly: All you need to do is send in your entries and then vote for your favorite photos!<\/strong> \u30fd(\u309c\u2200\u309c)\u30ce<\/p>\n

There are a few rules to keep in mind when sending in your entry, but they are all relatively easy for even me to understand so I don’t think they’ll cause any problems! You can take a read through the rules over on following page:<\/p>\n

It’s been quite awhile since the last photo contest, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what comes from this one!<\/p>\n

It’s actually a lot of fun to look through all the entries and see all the unique ways of taking photos that people come up with… not to mention just looking at all those lovely photos of figures is a load of fun!! \uff08*\u00b4\u2200\uff40*\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n

The winners will be announced on the 28th July during the WonFes & WonHobby Live Broadcast!<\/span><\/p>\n
