Halloween has come early!!

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

When I arrived at the office entrance today, I was met with some rather early Halloween decorations!

I’ve always been a fan of going to Disneyland during the Halloween season, I wonder if I can make it this time… ー(ΦωΦ)フフフ…

But that aside, today I’ll be taking a more detailed look at an event that starts tomorrow…

The Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2013

Event Details: Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2013 Official Site

The largest anime and manga event in Western Japan! There will be various goods on sale, cast talk shows and concerts from various series and even business-related discussions at the event! There will also be smaller events going on all around the event hall as well! (ΦωΦ)

Personally the Magic Knight Rayearth and Card Captor Sakura screening sessions are calling out to me!!

Plus, GSC will be joining the event as the GSC-Tetsujin Cafe! ヘ(゚∀゚*)ノ

The lovely drinks modeled off each character’s soul gems will be on sale! ♪

The pink Kyubey curry and a lovely Madoka dessert will also be available!

Depending on what you order, you’ll also receive a special extra!♪

– Coaster –

More information can be found here: http://www.kyomaf.jp/public/foods.html

This all reminds me that just the other day, the new Puella Magi in the upcoming Madoka Movie was announced! Nagisa Momoe! I can’t wait to see the movie!!

Also… now that I’m thinking about Kyoto, I also can’t help but think of the currently airing anime series, uchoten-kazoku!

Good Smile is involved as one of the series board members! (`・ω・´)シャキーン

You can find the series’ official site here! ♪
Lat week’s episode made me fall in love with Kaisei even more than ever before! This week’s episode is titled ‘The Secret Ways of Ebisugawa Soun’ – I can’t wait! ♥♡♥

Along with a stage event based around the series, there will also be various goods from the series on sale! There is even a T-shirt that fans are sure to fall in love with… you can find more details over on the Kyomaf Official Goods Page or the uchoten-kazoku Official Site.

I’m sure those of you who have visited or live in Kyoto will know, but the degree to which the series recreates the appearance and atmosphere of Kyoto is simply fantastic! I actually used the shopping street near Akadama-sensei’s home all the time while I was in university! You really could get hold of almost anything there, and there was a delicious confectionery store just at the entrance! ヘ(゚∀゚*)ノ

The place where the mother was playing billiards is actually a cafe, but it still gave me such a nostalgic feeling to see it all in the anime! It was captured so nicely!

Anyway, moving on… the Madoka Kaname: Maiko Ver. which I introduced the other day is going to be on sale that the ANIPLEX+ store from this weekend!

But I also need to make an apology to everyone!

=== Flashback ===
(・∀・Oda-P) “Hey! Your blog on Madoka the other day…”
( ・ω・) “Mmm? What about it?”
(・∀・Oda-P) “Well, I kinda found a bit of a error…”

((((;゚;Д;゚;)))) H-Huh?!

(・∀・Oda-P) “The sash clip isn’t a star, it’s a bellflower!”

Aaaahhh—<(ll゚◇゚ll)>—!!!!!

Sorry everyone!! Recent kimonos always have so many shiny bits and when I saw the clip I didn’t even think! I just assumed they were stars! ><
The bellflower is one of the seven flowers of autumn!
It means ‘Gentle Love” in the language of flowers!
It’s also Madoka’s sash clip!!

Apologies to all the readers who picked it up, and thanks to those who pointed it out! For more details on how to purchase this Madoka: Maiko Ver., be sure to check the official product page!

Phew… I didn’t think it would be so hard to introduce events I can’t attend…! (´;ω;`)ブワッ

However… let me take that energy and use it for something useful… like sneaking into the production studios!!

I’m sure I can find something interesting in here…
( )ォ…( *゚)ォオ!( *゚∀)オ!!(*゚∀゚*) Ooh!!!

For all of you who read through the whole of today’s blog, I leave you with some bonus shots! ☆

Ta-da!! (・∀・)

She has been painted!! Nendoroid Mayoi Hachikuji!!

Her first debut in painted form!! (・ω<)★

Unfortunately she is still going though some final checks, so I can only show her from the back for now… but as you can see her giant backpack has been faithfully sculpted! Even the name tag!!

Plus this pose…!! (゜∀゜)

I’ll be taking a closer look when I get the chance! ♥

Finally! As I’m sure many of you have noticed!
The header of the blog has been changed!!
ヽ(・ω・´(`・ω・´)ノ`・ω・)ノ

This lovely illustration is by none other than CHANxCO! ♥ The somewhat lonely looking header has finally been replaced with a super cute image! ☆

She’s too cute… I will have to consider her my alternate self…
I’ll call her… Top-ko!

The GSC Lab also got a new header as well, illustrated by Tomoko Fujinoki!

It might be in Japanese only, but I still recommend checking out the GSC Lab blog once in awhile! (・∀・)

You can find the blog here! Today’s post is part of a series about Murakami and his journey across Japan with Mikudayo! ♪
